Would be nice if you think you pull it off. Think I'd be an observer only for the foreseeable future though. Too little time, and I do stupid stuff like break bones in my hand when I have free time xp sweatdrop

I read it, not sure what to do
but before I forget this train of thought, I'm going to leave this here:
if we start up again, we need to make new characters.
The new characters should be good at fighting and archery and w/e else (fighting styles of IRL, basic fighting skills, no chakra yet? or don't know how to use chakra correctly) and they hear about this place called GNA (or maybe they're searching for something else).
Anyways, long story short, the new characters somehow meet up, find out that they're all looking for the same "thing", and team up (this all occurs in one thread). Maybe they fight each other at first, because this is a violent world and you can't just trust whoever you come across.
"you friendly? FRIENDLY?" -DayZ
If our older and experienced characters ever come in, it'll be one by one, and then they'll take their leave eventually. Like a small appearance.
Anyways the point is, as they travel together (new members come along maybe?) and they keep gathering and meeting new people.
Someone OOC has to be the "dungeon master" I guess, to send out bandits and whatnot against the new characters (this duty can be rotated amongst us).
People might go afk during it, and if that happens, might have to just skip them like the old days, and bullshit it and make up some reason afterwords why they went afk in character lol
not sure what the goal is or what they're searching for
but hints of the GNA's existence will pop up here and there (it won't be the main focus probably, for now)
maybe it was abandoned and the teachers went their separate ways, relating to what happened in the previous story maybe

Alright sorry, i was giving it some thought. Nar i like your idea, starting completely over and pretty much getting rid of our past storylines all together. No ones here actively to maintain them and with the current stories going its going to require a lot of older people to come back. And lets face it, not a lot will.
I think all forums, including this one need to archived in order to successfully transition. We need to move past the old stories and i think the only way to really do that is to not have anything really connecting to the past. Do you get it maybe? Since our "past" was never finished, it cant be the past to the guild.. We need to start from scratch. Id love your opinions on where we should go from here but until we get that figured out we shouldnt add new people just yet. Please tell me your opinions and we will see what we can come up with

Yea, like the idea of all new characters, learning chakra entirely from scratch is a good one too.
Maybe someone mentor type might give them hints, but obviously not a fighting member of the guild to make it fair to everyone coming in since everyone is starting fresh.
I not 100% for wanting to give up all the history, especially if the initial 'main story quest' is the find something related to the GNA of old, or our 'more experienced' characters ever come into play. I will say treat it like a myth, where it's short (maybe a page or three of story tops) and twisted more towards a legend where things have been exaggerated, understated, and maybe made up to fill in some gaps.
All that said.
I can't say I'll be around enough to really be voting here. One thing I'll offer up though even if I'm not around is that whoever Dungeon Masters is welcome to modify as needed and use any of the Minor characters I invented as links to the legends needed for the quest or boss types if that is the direction you want to go. (Admiral Armor Guy & little blue hair girl are a bit close tied to Lina though they might stick around. Kinuko I offered to Ishira years ago if she still wanted anything with the girl)
