Adderkit [Adderkit hissed. He knew he had to follow the deputies orders but he didn't have to be lectured like that. He stalked into the nursery, giving one last glance at Songkit before going in. He stopped short to watch the one called Brokensoul. Something was weird about him, he never listened to much of Lavenderstar's announcements, unless it was 'important'. Adderkit sat in the nursery, his yellow eyes gleaming from the darkness.]

[Eaglesoar nimbly dodged to one side when her back leg full of claws shot next to his face. He could feel it move past his whiskers - quite a powerful kick indeed, he had to admit. He was about to turn around and snap at her neck, when he suddenly felt sharp teeth biting into his flank. Caught by surprise, he hissed in pain and whirled around sharply, pain igniting his battle rage which clouded his eyes. He was about to leap towards her throat, like what he would do in a real battle, but caught himself just in time.]
This is only a mock battle with your apprentice - she clearly passes!
[He firmly reminded himself before sitting down, giving her a nod of approval.]
"Very good Vanillapaw, you've clearly improved much more than I expected. Lavenderstar was right, you're more than qualified to become a warrior."
[His emerald eyes glimmered with pride as he bent down and began licking off the blood that dripped slowly from the bite mark. It hurt quite a bit, which made him proud. She really has quite a strong bite...] ▂▂▂ ▂▂ ▂ ▂▂ ▂▂▂ ▂▂ ▂ ▂▂ ▂▂▂ ▂▂ ▂ ▂▂ ▂▂▂x x x

[ Songkit stopped short. She poked her eyes into the nursery before replying to her. ]
" We could start over later. I promise. Well forget this happened. "
[ Songkit looked over to Willowheart. She padded over to her. ]
" Willowheart.. was really mean.. "
[ Songkit lowered her head. She was acting innocent, Adderkit was right.
Knowing he might hear her, she started to whisper to Willowheart. ]
" Willowheart.. Why can't I tell anyone about this? "

[I froze as Brokensoul appeared out of nowhere. My fur fluffed out in alarm, and my eyes bugged out. I stumbled a bit, startled, and scooted backwards, tail up in the air.]
"Wah-!" I exclaimed, twitching my nose. "Y-you scared me, Brokensoul! Don't do that!"
[My mind raced as he asked about my scent. Dear StarClan, what am I going to do-? Do I lie, to I tell the truth?
I stared at him speechless for a few more moments. Lie, truth, lie, truth, lie, truth, repeated in my head over and over.]
"I was-out. In the...territory, and I found a she-cat...giving...birth." I lied, eyes still wide. I added hastily, "I didn't want anyone to find out-they might, y'know, yell at me for helping a rogue...or something. She-left with her kittens. It's all fine and dandy now, yep."
[My fur slowly settled and I let out a sigh, lowering my eyes from his gaze.]
"Uh yeah, and she-begged me to stay and...help her. Out of the territory. And a young fox found us and chased us out...but we escaped and, um, she reunited with her mate..."
[Forsaken's red eyes flashed through my mind, and my heart fluttered.]
"...Red," I finished lamely.
Shivering a bit, I added, "I'm a bit-cold and...hungry, so. Um, let everyone know I'm back and it's okay and stuff."
[I quickly scuttled away, ears flat against my head. My queen scent was strangely very weak. Then again, nothing about the birthing had gone right- they were premature kittens with tainted blood, after all. But it was still recognizable to some cats, it seemed. But still faint enough to be passed off for someone else's queen scent...I hoped.]
(( Just so everyone knows, her queen scent is weak. xDD So don't make it seem obvious nstuff. :3
Oh, and you can choose to follow her or not. She's trying to sneak into the wariror's den |3 )) ═══════════════════════ ...my belly is on fire

[That didn't make sense to him.] Why would she help a rouge? And some how a fox gets in this? [Brokensoul shook his head. He wanted to know more. Puresun just go back...she wasn't being hostile to him unlike Willowheart and he just now met her for his first time. Brokensoul knew Puresun only for her high strong personality, but now she was as jumpy as a mouse. He caught up with her and mewed.] "Wait, I don't understand...how did you know how to help the queen give birth, a medicine cat would know how....and you look skinny. I don't remember cats who help give birth lose weight." [Adderkit poked his head out, ignoring Songkit.] She is the innocent and simple-minded indeed.... [He thought. His ears perked when he heard the cat Brokensoul talking to Puresun. He looked around, making sure Foxfur wasn't around. He crouched down, his pure white pelt going well with the snow. When he got to the two he said.] "Hello there...Brokensoul I heard you...what were you and Puresun talking about..." [Brokensoul turned to see Adderkit. Then he meowed.] "I'm questioning Puresun about stuff." "Congratulations kid, you earned it."
[Giving his bite mark one last lick to stop the blood dripping, Eaglesoar gave her a warm look before turning away towards the warrior's den. It had been a long day, and he was looking forward to a good long rest. He eyed the meagre pile of fresh kill - one lizard and two skinny looking mice. He felt guilty taking one...then again, his stomach hadn't stopped growling since he arrived at camp. He nipped the lizard from the pile, making a mental note to bring back at least two later. As he stepped from one tree root to another to the den, he noticed a tricolour she-cat slinking back to the warrior's den.]
Puresun! Haven't seen her since...well, since before the twolegs nabbed me. Wonder how she's doing?
[He gave her a rare boyish (kittish?) grin as he caught up to her, dropping the lizard at his paws as he stepped into his nest.]
"Puresun, haven't seen you for a long time, how're you doing? Great Starclan, you smell like a queen now...well done! When did you kit?"
[He asked her cheerily as he sniffed at her, smelling the faint scent of milk. Faint, but it was there. Maybe it was just his nose acting up. She looked kind of skinny and cold as well, unlike him who was still a little chubby from being well fed by the twolegs.]
"Uh...here, you can have this. I, uh, don't really want it anyway."

[I let out an inward sigh as Brokensoul followed, and another as Adderkit appeared. I blinked at them both wearily, a bit of my old spunk creeping back.]
"Are you saying I'm fat?" I asked Brokensoul sharply, grinning mischeviously. "Well thanks, I always thought my wrinkles were attractive. And for your information, she was giving birth right then nstuff. 'Sides, foxes can smell birthing and come for an easy meal, specially if the animal is alone and vulnerable."
[I blinked with surprise as Eaglesoar padded up. I dropped my jaw in shock and rubbed against him excitedly. Tigerfang, my mentor, had really loved this cat! And it was great to see him back again!]
"Hello, Eaglesoar!" I chirped happily. "I could say the same for you! What in the world happened to you?"
[I was caught off guard as he asked me about my scent. Geez, can everyone smell it?! I thought angrily.]
"Ah, well, long story short, some rogue was kitting and I helped her but we got chased off by a fox and then she was reunited with her mate and all that. I just got back so yeah."
[I sauntered around him, surveying his state. I purred amusedly at his noticably chubbier build.]
"You smell faintly of twolegs. I never thought in a million moons that someone like you'd be a kittypet! What's the catch?"
[I nodded gratefully at him for the lizard, chomping down on it eagerly. I plopped my rump down and waited for his story attentatively, chewing my food as I waited.] ═══════════════════════ ...my belly is on fire

"Oh, so you didn't have kits...pity, I was going to ask if I could see them. Guess not then."
[He shrugged (assuming cats can shrug) and sat down to groom, running his tongue over old scars. Hearing her question, his ears twitched uncomfortably as he reluctantly answered.]
"Huh, I DIDN'T become a kittypet, I was taken to be a...yeah, I was taken! Some stupid twoleg ran me over with a monster, hurt a lot and gave me even more scars too."
[He said as he ran his tongue over a new scar on his leg, and another large one on his chest, adding to his already heavily scarred body.]
"Anyway, the twolegs took me to this strange smelling place, put me in a tiny den with bars in it, and there I stayed for three moons. Bored my fur off, to be honest. [Vague colors and shapes passed by his eyes, first the fluttering of wings, the wings of fluttery things. Then leaves and flowers blew past him in a whirlwind of color. He allowed himself to be marveled by this display. His surroundings spun faster and faster, and he giggled, until everything was still. His whiskers twitched, uncomfortable by the sudden stillness. His eyes focused on his now stagnant surroundings. He was in a brightly lit field, grass covering everywhere. He blinked curiously. This was different.
Avaricekit lifted himself on pudgy legs, and he wobbled for a moment. Where was he? He turned around, and started walking, but drew back when he felt a sticky liquid under him. A rancid odor hit him, and he coughed, shaking his head. After a second, he could detect a more calming and familiar odor. He blinked and looked down, and found himself staring at a mound of fur, almost as big as him. He stared at it curiously, and the pile of dark red liquid it sat in. He pawed at it, and brought it up to his face, licking it curiously. He blinked. He had tasted it before! This had been the stuff that his mother had pushed him away from! He squeaked in delight, bending down to dip his muzzle in it.
A warm lick stirred the kit, and he shivered, bursting into a small fit of coughing. After he stopped, he noticed something: He was colder. Something was missing. Almost immediately, something clicked in his mind: Mama. She was gone. No! It couldn't be possible!
He hissed, forcing his eyes open. Something surprised him though. He couldn't see anything. He hissed. Where were the shapes, the colours he could see when he was sleeping? Where. Was. Puresun? He let out a small whimper. She was gone. The mik scent had faded with her too. And he was hungry! What if he starved? No....no! He couldn't starve! Not that! He let out another whimper. This wasn't fair!]
[ooc:] @ Timber: I'm guessing that their bodies have advanced enough in growth to where they can open their eyes... :3
@ Zann: It's an awesome cartoon about a raccoon (pfft, if that's what they want to call it) type thing and a blue jay who are working at a park for a guy. The shows are about 15 minutes long each. They always seem to screw up even the simplest of tasks. It first aired in the United States of whatever last year so it's relatively new.

[ a familiar feeling of dread could be felt within the atmosphere. Forsaken glanced over it's shoulder to the bush to see Avaricekit , with a horrified look on his face from the realization that his mother was gone. Forsaken watched as the strange kitten shivered, it's eyes opening widely only to squeal in fear.] He is opening his eyes already? the strange she cat was right, they are progressing fast. By his eyes he must be blind.
[In Puresun's absence the demon gently rubbed its cold tail against the kitten's flank, letting him know that he was not alone.] "kekeke there there little one, the darkness is a scary sight to behold, especially if it is all you can see. I will not let you travel it alone, let me be your guide." They feel cold, I cant provide them the heat they need. I will have to begin the journey. You better keep your part of the deal Phyci...
[With it's soothing voice the demon lulled the kitten's into a sense of sucurtey, letting them know that they were not alone.] "Its time to go kitties, i have found your home. You must trust me though if we are to get through this..." [Remembering their favorite game, Forsaken slipped it's long, cold tail into the shadows below it, letting it flick and dance as the demon walked, luring them to follow. However forsaken noticed a delema.]
My shadow seems thicker, i haven drank blood in so long. If i dont get some soon things will grow more and more difficult for me, but i cant encourage Blood's kittens into such a thing, they will end up just like him. I will have to wait to feed my hunger...

[Lavenderstar stared energetically as the fight progressed, wincing as each blow successfully hit. She smiled, her heart thudding in her chest. It was pretty exciting, seeing the mentor matching up against his apprentice. Yes, despite the moons that Eaglesoar had been gone, Vanillapaw was proving herself very very well. As the battle came to a stop, she stood up, nodding happily. Vanillapaw had won. She had proven herself. She began to clear her throat when a name was called by Eaglesoar. Her ears perked. Pure......sun? Her eyes bugged at the comment of carrying the scent of a queen. She hissed slightly, whirling around. She studied her daughter as she spoke, but she wasn't paying attention to her words. She seemed.....thinner. When had been the last time she had eaten?!
Lavenderstar padded to her daughter, her eyes resting on the cat she hadn't seen in days. She stared at her for a moment, trying to think of a scolding reply, some sort of anger for her disappearance. Instead, she found herself stepping foward, rasping her tongue across her daughter's head.] "Puresun! You're home!" [she stammered in a relieved way, sitting back up. She blinked for a moment. "Where have you been? And when was the last time you ate?!" [she demanded, her tail twitching. Compared to her state before, she looked half-starved!]

He cleared his throat, standing up.] "Er...mister, where are we going? And where's mother?" [he asked curiously. He stood up, and started toward the tail he sensed waving before him. We must not disturb her, you understand dont you Avericekit?" [The demon was careful to wander over the most easy path, so as not to have the kittens fall or sink into the muck of the swamp. Forsaken's sinister smile turned into a frown though at the mention of the kitten's hunger. Forsaken had no milk for them, all it could provide was blood.] "....I will find you some food. Follow me.
