Marcie smiled sweetly and stoked raven's hair "I love you too" she whispered before placing a soft kiss to his lips and allowing herself to fall asleep in raven's embrace.

Elizabeth smiled and headed to the door "Be careful, Heart, I am not sure you can fool death a third time" she said before exiting.

Ace of clubs made her way to the castle as promptly as she could, when she arrived she was greeted by an hysteric woman of the kitchen staff "th-the Sir..." she seemed on the brick of tears "which sir? what happened sally?" Elizabeth asked grabbing sally's arms in a reassuring manner, sally was an old woman, she was almost 50 and had worked for the castle almost her whole life, she tended to over react but she was a good woman "Mr. Jack of Diamonds, he collapsed" she said a little calmer "I went in to his room to deliver the special food as you ordered and i found him on the floor, there seemed to be blood on his mount, and he wouldn't react, i don't know what to do Miss Ace of clubs" sally said fast and nervously, Elizabeth looked at her coldly "Have you told this to anyone else?" she asked emotionlessly, all signs of the reassurance that had been on her voice where gone now "No, no, of course not" sally answered almost scared at the idea of letting anyone else know, she had been very clearly instructed by the Ace of Clubs not to let know of the special food of Mr. Jack of diamonds to anyone, she was not explained why but she was not one to go gossiping around, that was probably the reason why was chosen "good" Ace of clubs said letting go of the woman and heading to the Jack of Diamonds room "Not one word of this to anyone" she said not turning around,sally knew what that meant, she went back to the kitchen and didn't speak to anyone, she had been freed from the burden of tending to that scary man, so long as she didn't talk the man wouldn't know she was the one that had found him.


It was still very early so Elizabeth had not run in to anyone on her way to the jack of diamond's room,it was better that way, she had not stopped by the infirmary on her way there since she had everything that could be needing with her, she thought about going to the medical storage room and bringing that specific medicine that had been 'mysteriously' disappearing but she had no proof it was the jack of diamonds the one taking, and, if she was indeed correct and he was the one taking it then he should still have some so she decided against that, Ace of clubs reached her destination and knocked to see if there was any response, would the Jack of diamonds be awake or was he still unconscious?

Jack shrugged,"I never will.I promise you that." he shouted as he turned and started walking away,kicking dust as he did so.

"I'm avoiding my inevitable demise for at least a little longer. They nag like my mother ordered decapitations!" Maria shuddered as she said this, vivid images of her mother's cruelty surfacing in her head. "They're so mean, too! Never giving me a break when they know how mother deprived me of my childhood!" she whined childishly, afterwards giving Six the crocodile tears in hopes of somehow getting an ally out of the ordeal.

{Maria already has some insecurities, such as her 'never be like mother' complex. She'd probably end up trying to off herself, now that I think of it. (Mostly involving her anti mother complex. I haven't revealed this yet but I might as well - she's literally a b*****d. Her mother's only acknowledged mistake.) Oh, and I'm actually thankful you pointed it out! Thanks. 3nodding }

Victor couldn't resist a smirk at that very thought. Unable to cheat death a third time. That seemed rather adventurous to Victor. A suicide attempt, a period of solitary confinement, and an execution, Elizabeth was right. Victor was surely going to die soon. With the Suits after him and the rest of his resistance, he was inevitably going to die now. Three was a number of luck and he had used his last chance at life.

The Ace of Hearts sighed deeply. I fell in love twice and both fell through my grasp and now I'm on the path of certain death. We are all bound to die, but it is much more sinister when you know your death looms near. Well, if I'm going to die, the Ace of Hearts is not going down without a decent fight. The solitary confinement, Juliet's Poison, and even the Jack of Clubs . . . that fiendish doll couldn't kill me . . . because I'm to go down with a fight.

Victor snickered at the very thought of spilling the blood of the Jack of Diamonds. This is certainly going to be interesting.



Jack's vision blurred as his chest ached more. Who was that woman who walked in earlier? The one who dropped what sounded like dishes . . . and where is Gestalt?

The Jack of Diamonds hacked up some more blood onto the floor, his surroundings becoming blurrier. He exhaled one final pained breath, slipping into an unconscious state.

((*hugs serene* don't worry, you are here and that's what matters))

As Ace of clubs received no response she decided to open the door, it was not locked, when she saw the unconscious figure of the jack of diamonds on the floor she hurried to his side and tried to get him to his bed, he was heavy for such a tin man, no wonder sally had left him where she found him "Really sir, such an inconvenient time for you to faint" she commented as she placed him over the bed.

Maria spun about, now facing the nearest exit. "Thank you! Don't tell them you saw me or I shall be punished! If they ask, I was settling a dispute between Patches and Tweedledum!" she said to Six, giggling as she was skipping off. Her skirt fluttered lightly, her smile grew wide, and she truly seemed like a child.

Amy sighed. "I'll go back and tell them she needs a place to rest of a while."
Poor girl...she has been through so much...
She knocked on the gravedigger's door thrice again.
