 Meeka shivered. Now it had seemed that everything was getting spooky. Ebba patted her shoulder with her antler to reassure her. She still shuddered though as she stuck close to her partner. She was terrified now. But she can do it! She knew she could of!

Luna gave a small giggle snort. Jen was so silly, but it was quite entertaining. Luna followed Abiba who was now taking the lead in lighting up the cave so the dangers ahead were visible. Both Luna and Jen took the lead through the cave, they would probably be the first to get mauled by a wild pokemon so the others would have time to subdue the pokemon or flee. Oh. Speaking of pokemon, Luna realized that she did not have any of hers out yet.
The trainer reached into her bag, pulling out what she thought was ChuChu's ball. She pressed the unlocking button in the center, making the ball enlarge and shoot a white light out.
"BLUU!" Chirper sang cheerfully, perching on Luna's shoulder.
Luna did not even need to look at her shoulder to know that she had picked the wrong pokeball. ChuChu did not say "bluu." She had accidently sent out Chirper, and now her other pokeballs were probably sealed. "...whoops."

So… this was it. Alastair looked at the hole almost emotionlessly, studying it as best he could. He turned to look at his pokémon: Con was busy avoiding the cave as best he could. Lum simply looked excited about everything. And poor little Rylee was exhausted, and had curled up in a mouse-like fashion, trying to sleep. Alastair smiled and patted the cubone affectionately, saying, “You’ve earned some rest, Ry… come on… into the pokeball…” there was a flash of red light and Rylee disappeared into the containment device.
Alright. So, he would take… he looked from Con to Lum. In all honesty, he would have preferred to take Con. The dark type wouldn’t need any light in the darkness of the cave and, in all honesty, Lum was too sweet for her own good. But, he had to ask first. Just in case… “Con… look at me. I know you don’t want to go back into the caves.”
Surely, you must be a genius among men… Con said sarcastically, his fur rising up a little at the mere mention of the word ‘cave’.
“You don’t have to. I can take Lum, if you’d prefer. But, I really want you to make the decision. These guys are worse than the folks at Inhinx. I want to stop them, but I’d like your help.”
The pale houndoom whined, a thin cutting sound. His eyes looked from Alastair, to the cave, then back to his trainer again and back to the darkness. Very slowly, he eventually nodded and stood up, padding over to Alastair’s side. He would stand with him.
Alastair smiled and patted his houndoom on the head. “I’m so proud of you…” a flash of red light, and Luminitia the flaaffy vanished into her pokeball. Trainer and houndoom turned back to the barrier and walked on through.
The crystals caught his eye and he tapped one or two of them experimentally, wondering why these ones had been left behind. Perhaps they were too small to be of any use… or, more likely, Team Rocket had plenty of others at their disposal.

Fluo was a bit jealous of the other trainer's pokemon. It knew how to use Flash. Alphaville just knew how to manipulate and terrorize, not a very useful skill in group activities like this cavernous trek. Befitting of her flippant behavior, Ivrea demanded to be carried. Such a shame she wasn't able to assume her sky form in time for this event. The good thing from all this is that Fluo was able to tone up by all the nannying she did. Right foot, left foot, and onward they went. Virulence noisy chomped on some nuts and berries as they proceeded in some general direction((Fluor, you're only allowed to use one pokemon throughout the cave trip ^^; ))

Piney shielded her eyes as Abiba's flash lit up the cave. She had some kind of warning, but still...
Now she could see some fossils, here and there. She couldn't recognize what kind of Pokemon they were though. Then again, she hasn't seen any fossil Pokemon besides the ones in museums. And the ones in the walls didn't look particularly powerful or anything.
Turning to Renekai, Piney scoffed a bit. "Of course. Nothing like weird crystals and criminals running around to brighten up the area."

 "Ooooh, are you scared, Riza?" Kai teased her a bit, knowing her fear of the dark. She wasn't afraid at all, her nerves were as hard as her iron boots. "Regardless, Isamu and I are right here so there won't be anything to worry about." She looked down at her old friend.
Isamu gave a prominent "absol!" as he looked over at Riza. He wasn't sure what role the female held, but if his owner was nice to her, he figured she deserved his trust.
"Pfft, besides, nine battles is nothing, I've got over fifteen under my belt.."

While Adele walked along side Kira, Lock was fine with himself as he walked by himself, or rather with Faraon. The healer's eyes drifted towards teh crystals for a moment but didn't took much interest in them. Yes they were shiny, and stuff, but didn't really let it bother him.
Lock looked back towards Kai. "You enjoy boosting, don't ya, love?"

Shielding her eyes as the pikachu brightly lit up the dark cavern, Arin slowly opened her eyes to let them adjust. With the whole area lit up, the glowing stones weren't nearly as creepy. The fact that the pathway was so skinny just made moving harder, but it was just as well. It was bound to get wider further along, right?

Nyght nodded, contemplating the strength of team rocket, "Yeah, I bet that most people run into their new grunts, who are easy, but the higher up are hard...." Nyght gulped a bit, trying not to disturb the ghastly on her head, but obviously quite nervous, "I hope we don't run into any of the boss rockets.... But you'll protect us right Dreydonna?" Nyght tried to look up at the orb hovering on her head, but that was tricky without moving.
Anakin felt the need to assert that he would fight too, and he wiggled a bit and cried, "Skit Skit!" in Nyght's arms, "All right buddy, you can fight too!"
Nice weather..? "Ah, I didn't notice there was weather in caves." Nyght had to giggle a bit at that...

Duelist of Pokemon Walking along with Abiba on her head, Jen was pondering what was to come when a ghost-type started following her. She didn't noticed but her Pikachu did.
"Pika?" Reaching out, little Abi tried grab at the floating sheet without letting go of her trainer. It was just like the pokemon her human had caught the day before!
Cassadaine had resolved to letting Yuzu have her fun and instead she focused on not slipping on the path. The pikachu may have added more light to the cave but...she was still admittedly a little blinded by the light still.

It was purely by chance that Carter saw Alastair as he passed through the barrier, and he let out another sigh of relief. He had never really had a conversation with the guy that lasted more than a moment, but he was at least a familiar face. Dropping back from the female trainers he had been tailing idly he offered the other male a small wave.
"Looks like we're two lucky guys once again eh?" He ventured, his gaze straying form the trainer infront of him to the red crystals. Were these what the scientists had been so eager to study? It was a possiblity, but somehow he felt as if that was merely the surface of things.
"I suppose a congrats is in order, Alastair did you say it was?"

 Lenne walked along with the rest of the group, silently staring at the crystals and the other individuals as well as their pokemon.
Piper stared off into the distance, her ears perked up. She carefully listened as each person talked and watched their movements.
Lenne hummed quietly to herself, waiting for something to happen.

 Fin admired the crystal formations as they walked along. So many different sizes and shapes! But she was worried that they still hadn't found anything, remembering what had happened last time they'd had a quiet journey for a while. She found herself jumping at every noise, more often than not the footfalls of her fellow trainers.

At hearing Alastair's voice and the unmistakable sound of his houndoom's whine, Ryou's ears twitched and he jumped away from his trainer, dashing back closer to the entrance. This whole thing made him extremely cautious, his whole body tense with anticipation and nervousness. It was good to have Con there, too. It was somehow reassuring to return to caves when he had his old friend with him. "(Con?)" He asked with a light hint of surprise in his tone. He honestly hadn't expected him to come into the mines. "(I didn't know if you would come,)" the umbreon said with a flick of his tail.
Kazuki ignored Ryou's sudden departure, knowing he was off to find Con, and he scurried up to find Luna. He needed someone to cling to, and it certainly wouldn't be some random trainer.
