What about secret plans to use the fire of a god to create a light source above set assassin syndicate leader creating multiple shadows? And then using magic to dissapear into those shadows and reappear at will, attacking the syndicate leader from all angles until he is dead?

WHat about I create a greatdarkness world wide and use a powerful chemical that makes dark solid long enough for all the other assasins and be in the only lit place and carry some bottled air until the darkness desolidifies?
