Maddy slid her hands into her pocket and merely looked at the orange-haired man.
"It ends here, Lysandre."
She watched as a few grunts filed into the room through some side doors. She let out a sigh and turned to Xerneas.
"We'll defeat this lot. You go free your friend."
Xerneas nodded and leapt off towards the machine to start trying to shut it off.
Lysandre went to press some buttons on the control panel but Maddy reacted fast. She tossed a Poké Ball into the air and her Garchomp appeared in a burst of light. As the Dragon-type rushed towards Lysandre, Maddy pressed a finger to her eye patch and the Key Stone embedded in it. Both trainer and Pokemon erupted into a rainbow light.
Garchomp's body began to take on a different form, with his claws completely merging into his arm fins and becoming sharp scythes. His muscle mass increased and his chest became a little bigger. He zipped between Lysandre and drove one of his arm scythes into the control panel, causing sparks, wires, and various buttons to fly everywhere. He gave a loud roar and returned to his trainer, eager to get their fight on the road.
Lysandre cursed under his breath.
"Fine. I'll deal with Xerneas after I deal with you."
He took a Poké Ball off his belt.

[Reserve. Everyone must double battle grunts except those listed below. Tier 5s must fight 2 grunts who use 2 Pokemon each (2 Dark, 2 Fire, and at least one evolved). Tier 4s must fight 2 grunts with 3 Pokemon each (2 Dark, 2 Fire, 2 random, and at least 4 of them fully evolved. No Tier 3s in RP currently. Tier 1s will fight 1 un-named admin with 6 fully evolved Pokemon that follow no pattern.

Allen will fight Bryony; Liepard, Bisharp, Aggron (Mega), Pyroar, and Armaldo.
Caleb will fight Mable; she uses Houndoom (Mega), Weavile, Feraligatr, Machamp, Haxorus
Michael will fight Celosia; Manectric (Mega), Drapion, Dragonair, Snorlax, and Swellow.]

Lysandre sent out his Gyarados. The blue leviathan Mega-evolved first thing.
Mega Garchomp and Mega Gyarados were in the middle of a stare-down. Maddy's Garchomp glowed ominously. It was receiving the effects of Maddy's Specialist class; a 2.5x Attack boost and a 2x Speed boost. Dragon-type attacks would also receive a 40% power boost. The girl smirked.
"Lysandre. You're about to get wrecked. Outrage!"
Garchomp unleashed his all-out attack, dealing a massive amount of damage to Gyarados. Gyarados growled menacingly, but it clearly wasn't going to survive another blow like that.
"Ice Fang!" Lysandre barked.
The attack hit hard, leaving Garchomp in the same position as Gyarados. But Garchomp's next Outrage finished off the other Mega. Sent out next was Lysandre's Meinshao. Garchomp's assault stopped, ending in confusion. Maddy tried to issue another attack but he hit himself out of confusion, almost KO'ing himself.
"Dual Chop!"
The double-hitting attack finished off Garchomp. Maddy brought out Sydonis next.
"Poison Jab!"
The attack hit hard, but Sydonis was still going strong.
"Let's try an earlier tactic! Hypnosis!"
Sydonis nodded and sent a volley of hynoptic waves at the enemy Pokémon. Meinshao fell asleep, snoring away. It missed it's turn to attack.
"Dream Eater!"
The attack hit hard and healed most of the damage he had taken from the previous hit. Meinshao continued to sleep, seemingly unaware of what was occurring.
"Again! Dream Eater!"
The rest of Sydonis' health was recovered as Meinshao fainted. Cursing under his break, Lysandre sent out his Honchkrow.
"Night Slash!"
Sydonis reeled backwards from the attack. It seemed he was almost no match for fully-evolved Pokémon.
"Thunderbolt!"
The bolt of lightning dealt a fair chunk of damage to the Honchkrow, but it still managed to fly at Sydonis and unleash another Night Slash. The Kirlia was down for the count. Maddy sent out her Greninja next.
"Ice Beam!"
Greninja's type changed to Ice. Honchkrow fell this time, fainting right out of the air. Sent out next was Sceptile.
"Ice Beam again!"
The attack hit hard, but Sceptile was still standing afterwards.
"Leaf Blade!" Lysandre barked.
Sceptile slashed at Maddy's Pokémon using the leaves attached to it's wrists. The attack wouldn't have dealt much damage if it wasn't a critical hit.
"Ice Beam again!"
Sceptile was KO'd by the attack. Lysandre sent out his Pyroar next.
"Surf!"
Greninja's type became Water. A wave of water rushed over Pyroar, hitting it hard.
"Wild Charge!"
Pyroar took a bit of damage itself from the attack, but it managed to knock out Maddy's Greninja in the mean time. She sent out her Tyrantrum to replace it.
"Crunch!"
Pyroar jumped forward and latched onto the dinosaur-like Pokémon with it's teeth. It didn't do a whole lot of damage, but it managed to lower the Pokémon's Defence.
"Head Smash!"
The attack was powerful, dealing a devastating blow and knocking out Lysandre's Pokémon. The final Pokémon he sent out was Raichu.
"Brick Break!"
The attack dealt a decent chunk of damage, more so because of Tyrantrum's lowered Defence.
"Earthquake!"
Tyrantrum pounded the ground hard, causing the ground to shake. It dealt critical damage to Raichu, OHKO'ing in it. Lysandre was defeated.

Bryony; Aggron (Mega), and Armaldo.

Allen heard a chuckle from his right, he turned his head to find a familiar green hair and green grasses the one could see info flashing across. Allen could see her eyes flickering across the inside reading the info she had stored on Allen and his team. "Are you ready for our rematch?" He could see her eyebrow raise just over her glasses. He knew he wouldn't want to mess around.

Liepard vs. Whimsicott (Neida)
Allen called for Neida to use Moonblast, she lifted her arms high, charging the blast up quickly, and shot the Liepard down easily enough. Allen recalled his Pokemon

Pyroar vs. Greninja* (Dolstro)
Allen ordered Dolstro to Surf, the ground rumbles slightly before a pipe erupts from the ground, releasing a large crescent wave over the Pyroar to crash down. But the Pyroar was able to stand again. She inhaled, and started a low growl, but when she opened her jaws belting an almost visible roar that echoed around the cavern, Greninja shook in place, taking the damage on the chin.

Allen ordered for Dolstro to use Dark Pulse. The attack blasted forward, catching the Pyroar easily and she fell to the ground. Again, Allen returned his Pokemon in preparation.

Bisharp vs. Volcarona (Ubella)
Ubella flies up high above the stoic Pokemon and engulfs the opponent in a stream of red hot flames. There wasn't much time before the Steel type succumbed to the attack and fell from the flames to be returned.

Armaldo vs. Pawniard (Kell)
Allen called for Kell to use Iron Head. He reared his head and ran forward jumping high in the air. which was something the Armaldo apparently wasn't expecting. Kell's attack hit the Armaldo in it's neck, hitting for critical damage. Upon recovering, the foe slammed it's foot on the floor, causing the ground around Kell to shake violently. He dropped to the floor, fainted easily.

Round 2: Armaldo vs Greninja* (Dolstro)
Allen brought Dolstro from his ball again to just use Surf to quickly faint the Armaldo.


Bryony laughed loudly, "My My! Aren't you strong! At least you seem a bit stronger than the last time we battled!" She chuckled, she moved with a kind of crazed manner and continued on chuckling. She suddenly stopped and jerked to look at Allen again, "BUT YOU'RE FINISHED NOW!" She shouted pulled out a Heavy Ball, revealing an Aggron with a metal piece locked around it's upper arm, in a little socket on the outside of the band sat a Mega Stone. Allen's heart skipped a beat when Bryony struck a post, revealing the stone connected to a bracelet over her glove on her wrist. A colorful light enveloped the Aggron, rainbow colors surges surrounded it in a double helix shape and in a powerful wave of colors dissipated, leaving Allen to stand in awe. "Are you just going to stand there or are you going to fight me?" She mocked him

"Lydia." He called his Banette forward. She nodded, Allen acted quickly, taking her mega stone and fitting it, with a click, into place in the zipper. She played with it for a moment before getting serious. Allen rose his arm to his chest, finding the stone vibrating and pulsating. They were reacting to one another. He placed a hand over the stone and the same light covered the two stones before a light shot up and around Lydia's form. Her body swirled with zippers that undid themselves revealing pinkish purple fingers from the ends of her arms and the same color feet from between her legs. the back of her head also showed a zipper wrapping around, leading to a point. The light faded in the same double helix rainbow.

"So you have a Mega Pokemon as well!" Bryony laughed loudly, pointing at Allen's Banette, "But it's such a wimpy little thing. Aggron dear, squish it." She said with finality in her tone.

"Will-O-Wisp!" Allen called, and she moved quicker than he'd ever seen her move before, whipping up the balls of fire and shooting them like bullets at the opposing form. The wisps planted firmly on the Aggron in sensitive areas that would hurt it to attack and wear it down over time.

In retaliation, Bryony called for a Stone Edge, but when the Aggron reached out for a stone it winced, the Burn was really effecting it. Unfortunately, it was able to dart a few stones into Lydia's body, but it didn't do too much damage. "Hex!" Banette's eyes turned a deep purple color with bright yellow irises and a black energy leaked from around the eyes. The air around the Aggron turned an almost black as the eyes looked like they were opening in the surrounding haze. Aggron shook and cried out in pain as the damage from the attack was much worse in the places where it had been burned. In fact the places where it had been burned caused some critical damage. But the opposing Aggron still held on. If only just barely. Another one of those attacks and it would be over for sure. Allen finally felt a little relief. It was cruel to inflict that much pain on a Pokemon, even if they were fighting for the wrong reasons. But he had no choice.

Bryony's smile seemed cracked, like she was broken somehow, "The probability of my winning has just decreased dramatically!" And still she cackled on, ordering her Pokemon to attack on with a Heavy Slam.

Lydia moved to dodge the mack truck, but failed and was squished to the ground by the massive foe. Thinking quickly, she phased into the ground and came out behind the foe, her eyes turned the purple and yellow combination again and the haze reappeared. There was a loud pained cry that the Aggron made that faded into a low whimper before the noise stopped. Inside the haze, there was a bright multicolored light and as it faded one could see just a regular Aggron laying on the ground fainted.

Allen sighed as Bryony moved back to Lysandre's side.

Michael watched as the events unfolded and smiled as one of the admins approached him. "Well look at what we have here. A purple haired freak who thinks that what she's wearin' is fashionable." Celosia glared at the male and said in an extremely pissed off tone. "Who are you calling a freak boy, you would not know what fasion was if it hit you in the face." The admin then threw out a pokeball and out came a Manectric, but before Michael could send out his pokemon Celosia pressed a button on her bracelet, and the two became a rainbow of lights. Michael knew what was happening and was worried about this. He looked at his pokemon and chose one. that he thought would help. Spike appeared and growled at the Mega Manectric. He lunged at the dog and tried to use crunch on the dog which hit with a critical, but the dog still stood. It unleashed a thunderbolt, which did nothing to Spike. Who lunged at the Mega and ko'd it. The Admin growled and pulled out another pokeball and this time appeared a Drapion. The huge bug attacked with cross poison which hit and Michael knew this was bad. Spike retailiated with thunderbolt. The attack hit but the purple bug still stood and hit with another cross poison which knocked out Spike. Michael returned him to his pokeball and thanked him. He then threw out another pokeball out popped a rather large Serpentine Sea serpent. Rage looked at the Drapion and just growled, before unleashing a vicious twister instantly knocking the bug out. She then tossed another pokemon which was a Swellow. The swellow landed an aerial ace but was quickly ko'd with an ice beam. A dragonair was next and a thunder hit Rage nearly knocking him out. Another ice beam was launched and the blue dragon was out cold Her final pokemon was a Snorlax and it hit with a headbutt, knocking rage out like a light. Michael looked down at Squirt and nodded. The Wartortle used an ice beam which hit. The Snorlax used rest and went to sleep. Squirt then used Water Pulse, which hit. The Snorlax continued sleeping but used headbutt due to sleep talk. Squirt then used ice beam again causing it to faint.

As the battle raged on all around the Legendary Pokémon, Rei did his best to help defeat Team Flare once and for all. Two Flare grunts stood against him.

“Sorry, Aquan. You’re not cut out for this new, fabulous world that Lysandre and Team Flare are about to create!” The nearest Flare sent out a Houndoom, and her partner a Camerupt. Rei frowned; they were certainly at a different caliber from the last grunt he fought. He tossed out his Gyarados and Seadra, ready for a long battle.

“Leviathan, Focus Energy! Mosca, Aqua Tail!” The Seadra began building pressure in her snout and used her Zoom Lens to pinpoint the Houndoom’s weaknesses, while Gyarados lashed out with his massive tail. The Houndoom staggered and charged its fangs, sinking them deep into the flailing tail. Camerupt, in the meantime, cursed himself, sacrificing speed for higher attack and defense.

“Now, Leviathan! Brine that Houndoom!” She released the pressure from her snout, aiming right at Houndoom’s underbelly. Unable to recover from the critical hit, the dog fainted. The Gyarados blasted a Hydro Pump straight into the Camerupt’s face, and the power was too much for the poor Pokémon. It, too, fainted.

The Flare grunt huffed and sent out a Skuntank, with her partner sending out a Mightyena.

“Mightyena, Sucker Punch!”

“Skuntank, Night Slash!”

Rei quickly called out orders, hoping his team could land a punch before they went down.

“Mosca, Hyper Beam that Mightyena! Leviathan, see if you can put some Smokescreen down!” The Seadra took the night slash to the face in exchange for a thick smoke to surround the area. The Gyarados was attacked by the Mightyena, but managed to shoot off its favorite move, Hyper Beam, before being downed by the wolf.

Rei recalled his Gyarados and tossed out his Gabite.

“Go on, Menart, Dig, and attack that Skuntank.” He dove once more into the ground, leaving Seadra to deal with the focus of the enemies’ attacks. She put up a valiant effort, dodging another Night Slash while hosing the Mightyena with a Brine attack, but eventually, it was all too much for her, and she fainted. He frowned and tossed out his Shelgon.

“Emo Cloud, the Mightyena’s already downed. Focus on that Skuntank. Zen Headbutt!” The Gabite appeared from the ground and slashed at the Skuntank’s ankles, making it unable to avoid the charging, glowing Shelgon. The tag-team worked wonders, and the Skuntank fell, unable to continue the fight.

The two grunts knew they were running out of options.

“Go, Diglett!”

“Get ‘em, Onix!”

Well. Rei wasn’t expecting that. He looked at his team. They were almost done with this crazy fight.

“Menart, Dig against that Onix! Shelgon, Dragon Claw that Diglett!” The two went about their attack, hoping they could escape with a clean victory. The Diglett was raked across the face, cutting most of its health in one go, while Gabite prepared to deal devastating damage to the Onix.

Nobody expected the Diglett to actually defeat two dragons.

It glared, grew red-hot, and shook the earth so violently that Gible barely had enough time to finish its attack on the Onix before being crushed by the earth it loved so much. Rei quickly recalled it, hoping he spared his Gabite from an untimely demise.

Fissure. That deadly one-hit-ko. The Diglett was in a frenzy.

“It doesn’t have much health left, Emo Cloud! Just Dragon Breath it, and the Onix should be yours!”

The Flare grunt wasn’t about to let that happen. As Shelgon’s blast sped towards its target, she called out to her Onix.

“Protect it with your life if you have to, but don’t let it kill Diglett!” The Onix took the hit, and fainted. A gleam shone in Diglett’s eye, and another ground-shaking quake ripped the earth in two.

Another casualty of Fissure. Rei wanted to pull his hair out. How was the thing being so accurate?!?

“Cho, finish the fight, quickly! Steamroller!” The Whilrlipede spun rapidly and rammed itself against the psychotic Diglett. Finally, the battle was over. Rei sighed in relief.

“That was ridiculous,” he muttered as he watched the duo disappear upon their defeat.

Lysandre cursed loudly as he was left with no usable Pokémon. He stumbled backwards onto the control panel behind him. Looking down at his hand on the console, he pressed a few buttons that were still intact.
Yveltal was suddenly released from the machine, which Xerneas had actually managed to damage quite a bit. The Legendary Pokémon fell out of the machine and fell to the ground, exhausted. Xerneas rushed forward and caught his counterpart on his back.
The machine began to make a loud humming sound, kind of like it was charging up.
"Fine! I'll take you all down with me if it's the last thing I do."
The machine began to ascend up towards the surface, charging as it went. Lysandre began to cackle maniacally.
Maddy turned to her companions.
"Leave!" She told them. "It's not gonna be safe to be so close to the weapon when it fires. I'll follow, with Lysandre in tow. He must pay for his crimes like Archie and Maxie did!" She turned away but looked over her shoulder at them. "We'll meet in Reflection Cave! Geosenge won't be safe."
She ran at the man, quickly covering the distance between him and her, and punched him in the face. Her Garchomp and Haxorus quickly came to her side to help her subdue Lysandre.
As the weapon got closer and closer to the surface, it's loud humming began to disturb the infrastructure of Team Flare's base and it started to collapse around them all.
Large chunks of rock fell, surrounding the other members of Team Aqua so the only way they could go was through a set of elevator doors to their right.
Xerneas fixed Yveltal's position on his back and began to follow the weapon up to the surface, jumping and vaulting off the walls and soon disappearing out of sight.

[No reserve. Escape!!]

Michael wanted to stay and help Maddy but he knew he couldn't so he grabbed Squirt and made a beeline for the elevator. He arrived before the others and put his hand in the door to prevent it from closing before everyone got in. Over all the noise the team would hear Michael yelling. "Come on y'all hurry up this place is goin' down!"

Caesar runs for the elevator and yells on the way there. RUN It's gonna blow!" As he ran he nearly bowled over Michael, which he apologized for.
