Well, I'm not socializing much so I don't know for sure, but I think you either like it or hate it. I once played it in the car but the driver got all nervous by it so we had to switch to another CD
xd But my music teacher that I've had this year liked it and was all amazed by how someone can actually make such sounds(they're only partially manipulated in a comp). I've heard or read somewhere that it all begun as a joke where this one guy(I even think he's a Swede, though I'm not sure) mimicked his friend's moped, they thought it sounded funny and put it out on the Internet, others liked it and so it went on to become the wide-spread phenomenon it is today.
I personally find it good to drown out surrounding noisy classmates during class
