 Meeka laughed at the comment Jen made when the light sparked the area. It helped relieve the tension the enigmatic area gave off. Ebba followed after his trainer. He with her laughter, he didn't seem phased. He was worried about the safety about his idiotic trainer.

Everything had moved so quickly, one moment they were digging through Team Rocket's trap and the next Carter was facing some unnatural barrier. Kader was no where in sight, and the thought didn't qutie settle well with the ex-officer. He wasn't to familiar with any of the other faces around him, and his best friend had unfortunately become like a secruity blanket to him.
At least he still had Yero. He shot the Growlithe a hesitant look, leaning down to ruffle the fur on his head. "You really want to do this buddy?" He asked ina soft whisper, "You remeber what happened the last time we met up with rockets." Yero's answer was a forceful bark. Darned pokemon had more of a spine than Carter would ever have, maybe that was why they had failed the last time.
"You know best Yero." Taking in a deep breath Carter took a step forward towards the barrier, exhaling as he passed through without much difficulty. "Here we go." Yero followed after him, and together Trainer and his partner headed down the tight pathway.

The strange crystals attracted Ridley's attention once he'd turned from the barrier, and he squinted when Abiba used flash, abruptly lighting up the narrow passageway. It certainly made it less eerie, but no less claustrophobic than it had been a moment ago. He continued on anyway, feeling a chill creep up his spine. Man, could this get weirder? They'd already seen two ghost types on this trip, who knew if there might be a third attack of the creepy things...

Pippeh tried to follow the other trainers in through the barrier but was punted backwards. "Wha?" she asked curiously. "It seems we can't get in Jaidev. I hope Kazuki and Basil did though." she said quietly as she wandered away from the barrier. The cubone growled a bit as she watched everyone go by. "Ah wells. Let's go home Jaidev."

Kira blinked, looking around. "Katie...?" She looked back towards the entrance and sighed. It looked like Katie wanted to stay behind and stay with her new friends, the scientists.
Sighing, she patted Fuyuki's head. "Oh well, you'll protect me anyways, won't you, Fuyuki." The suicune growled in agreement. She then looked up at Adele and laughed. "Well, ready to go kick some Rocket butt?"

Nyght sighed as the flash lit up the caverns a bit better. It also reflected beautifully on the red crystals. Though Nyght was interested in nearly everything scientific, pokemon were her focus and she was too nervous right now to want to stop to look at some rocks.... The joke of Jen's lightened the mood slightly, but Nyght could only chuckle nervously...
Turning to Renekai Nyght sighed, "Well, I'm guessing this'll be an adventure..." Nyght was almost relieved to see the ghastly with Renekai. Nyght knew Dreydonna was powerful, and she was starting to be fond of the ghost pokemon, she was really quite a nice ghastly. Nyght smile at Dreydona before bending to pick up Anakin. It was too hard for him to keep up on foot.
As Dreydonna joined Nyght on her head again, Nyght laughed, "Hey girl, I know that you'll do a good job. Just scare those rockets silly and we'll be fine!" Nyght smiled at Renekai, "Maybe we won't... but I wouldn't count on it." Nyght absently petted Anakin while they walked, worrying to herself about battling with the skitty.

 Fin winced as the Pikachu used Flash, lighting up the cave. She'd gotten a little used to the darkness already, and Caddie seemed to have done the same, as she was now burying her face in her trainer's chest. Fin patted the Delibird comfortingly, blinking to adjust to the new brightness. The cave had lost its sense of mystery along with its darkness, somewhat, but this place was still incredible, with the crystals covering the walls. The trainer wondered how far in they'd have to go to find the Rockets.

 Riza followed the group through the mines, lingering towards the back, but staying close enough so that she wouldn't have to be in total darkness.
They were kind of creepy, the mines. She wondered what lived down here....
Hopefully nothing mean. They were in an enclosed space, and too much activity could bring the mine down on their heads, couldn't it?

Jen's exclamation amused her, floating forward closer to Jen, the ghost gave a soft cackling laugh. < Humans are such interesting creatures... > Perhaps she was the only...happy one in such a dark place. But then...if that was the case...where were her kin? Had they all been sealed away or repelled like her new trainer's sentret had?
"Yuzu?" Looking around for the shuppet she sighed when she spotted her floating near Jen. At least she hadn't run off too far.

 At least with more lighting, the mine wasn't so bad. Still, LizDuck felt uneasy about the whole thing. A singer shouldn't have to do such courageous things as a beginner pokemon trainer. She couldn't help but begin to nibble on a fingernail.
Foamy seemed to mind his own, not really minding the darkness or light in the cave. He looked around curiously though, and was somewhat eyeballing anything that might have been shiny. Shiny things were wonderful for picking up, yes they were!

The short trainer stared around at the cavern, or at least.. what he could see of it, with the small light source. He pulled out Basil's pokeball, intending to bring him out to help light the place up, but for some reason it wouldn't work. He saw Pip try to come in too, and winced when she couldn't. A sudden idea struck him, and he placed Ryou on the ground of the cave before running out to the purple-haired trainer. "Pip, wait!" She wasn't too far ahead, only a couple feet, but still. When he screeched to a halt in front of her, he pressed the pokeball into her hands. "Here. Take Basil with you, I can't take him out in the cave. Besides, he'll want attention. I'll come back for him tomorrow, once we're done, okay? I gotta go now!" He did not want the rest to leave without him, and certainly didn't want to have to find his way through the cave alone. That was a scary thought. "Bye!" He said before racing back through the barrier, and he grabbed Ryou on the way and ran after the slowly disappearing group.

"Well, this'll be an interesting story to tell our friends afterwards.... 'And this is how we beat up Team Rocket!' .... Team Rocket is supposed to be a pushover, right? But then, how come they haven't been stopped for good yet...?" Renekai sighed a little. "I guess it's just the newbies on that team, the newer Grunts, that are easy..." Renekai kicked a pebble, then flinched slightly as the sound echoed around the cave.
"..... So..." Renekai said, casting around for a conversation subject. ".... Nice weather in this cave," Renekai concluded lamely.

Liam chuckled a little at Jen's words, closing one eye as the light seemed to suddenly pour into the small area. The crystals seemed to sparkle even more brilliantly in the light, just small stars of rose colored light in the walls. The healer swallowed once, brushing his hair out of his eyes and glancing between Jen and Luna, trying his best to look calm. Pokemon 101 -- pokemon can feel fear. If you remain calm, they most likely will remain calm also. He only hoped that worked for people too.

Fluo was a bit jealous of the other trainer's pokemon. It knew how to use Flash. Alphaville just knew how to manipulate and terrorize, not a very useful skill in group activities like this cavernous trek. Befitting of her flippant behavior, Ivrea demanded to be carried. Such a shame she wasn't able to assume her sky form in time for this event. The good thing from all this is that Fluo was able to tone up by all the nannying she did. Right foot, left foot, and onward they went. Virulence noisy chomped on some nuts and berries as they proceeded in some general direction
