matt was there for about a minute before he couldnt take the pressure in his lungs anymore and shot up to the surface pushing off the bottom
"*deep breathing noises* jeez she can hold her breath long"

April started to get hot and tired to get up but when she did she just got dizy. "why are there so many towels around me?"

He quickly lead her away and back down the hallways to the vault door. Which he locked behind them. He took her to a room just a few doors down and sat her in a padded chair. He knelt in front of her, a look of deep concern for her on his face.
"You probably don't recognize him, but that is Li on that dais. He wasn't murdered, he was abducted. He was tortured, mostly for fun. It took us longer then it should have to track him down, but he wasn't in this duchy any more. We just got him back a couple of days ago, and he looks better then he did then. Marienara has not come out of that room or stopped her spell weaving since we brought him in. I'm not sure how she does it. She wields an enormous amount of magic and knowledge that it should be impossible for her to have. She's younger then me. There's something different about her, Sien and Leona too. It's like they remember things from before the shattering. Even so, it'd be a miracle if the Lady could restore him to the level of health he had before, and even if she can. He will not be the same. This event has changed his life. Do you want to know why he was abducted and not any of you?"

June waits a couple more seconds and then joins Matt at the top. She comes up and shes not even panting or anyting. "lasted longer than I though."

Nick continued to smile as he quickly lowers himself into the pool and rests on the edge of the pool "Ya kids are great I have a bunch of little cousins none of them are over six and they're so much fun."

Mae was completely sobbing, her eyes were puffy and her cheeks were soaked with tears. She let out short gasp after short gasp for air almost like she couldnt breath (( when I cry I cant breath so Im like gasping for air like a crazy person XP )) She nodded her head slowly waiting for the answer
"Im fine you know stare " she told him. "I... I just slipped.. thats it.." but she didnt tell him the complete truth.

He gave her a grin "Well of course your fine right now..but a few minutes ago when your head was bleeding you wernt"he said then kissed her forehead "And next time try not to hurt your self falling..i love to act all hero-ish and save you...then have thor come in and take over unwanted....but i would prefer to have you in my arms in good health not bleeding from the head"

"and not bleeding from the head huh?" she let out a laugh. "hmm Ill try my best then." she her her hand on her head and winched. "ow... see... this is why I dont go swimming..."
June wadded over to the edge of the pool and pushed herself up so she was half out. She of course knew the real reason why she never went swimming but she wasnt going to embarrasser her. Mae didnt say anything so she wouldnt either.
