((Because this place is dying. I was hoping me leaving would have stopped the bickering and made everything a bit better. I mean...isn't that why a few people I'll leave unnamed told Neko to kick me from my position? I'm not the best cover up person, I'm blunt as is Tutsumi, my character. Last time I tried to get someone in here, before I left, Neko promptly denied it saying that it was too much like my type of writing or some such bull.))

Iri shrugs once more and gets to her feet. She rinses her cup out and sets it in the sink. When she takes her seat again, she opens up her book. She picks up her pen and begins to write, but she carefully divides her attention between the page and the happenings in the room.

"I'm still waiting, Nyl. And tell Nami that I hope my nephew/niece is all right. But, the fight also applies to her. Even a pregnant woman should be able to save her life...and I'd like to make sure she can protect her child."

"I don't think I'll enjoy it much once the baby is born and I have to loose the extra weight." She laughed, draining her mug and setting it down. " Oh well, he means well I suppose." She pulled one knee to her chest, resting her chin atop it thoughtfully.

"Kaimen's outside and actually more interested in this challenge than I am. Pose it to him, first - he's probably in more of a fighting mood. ...And I will not risk Nami's child or her just so she can entertain you in your silly challenge. Fighting now without desperate reason would be more of a danger to both of them than a help."
Nyl frowned slightly.
"And that was not an invitation for you to create desperate reason."
"Nami, you're a ninja. I don't think you'll have a problem." She laughed.

"Nothing that won't right itself with enough...waiting." Nyl smirked slightly, hopping down off the counter. "If you'll excuse me for a moment, I need to take care of something in my room. I'll be right back."

Sephiroth came in through the back door, looking down the hall. He put a finger in his ear and wiggled it, trying to clear it, but the whistle still sounded. He frowned and shook his head, turned, and made his way into the Medbay.

Nyl entered her room and closed her door behind her, rummaging through her drawers with evident purpose. Her window stood slightly open, so fresh air could get into the room.
The hairs on the back of her neck rose slightly. She continued her search, but without the singular focus.
~I know you're around, Sephiroth. What are you doing back there?~

Iri watches Nyl leave with worried eyes. She can feel the feathers on her wings rustle. Something doesn't feel right. For the life of her, Iri can't put a finger on it, but something is gnawing at her nerves. Part of it makes her feel eager, and yet she also has the distinct urge to spread her wings and fly away. Confused is the word. Very confused. And yet as far as she can tell, Iri has nothing to be confused about.
I tend to pick up on emotions very well. Maybe I'm just getting some of Nyl's anxious energy.
And Iri returns to her book.

He stopped and stood straight, moving to a window. He gazed out at the night, then pulled the blinds shut. He repeated this action throughout the Medbay.
