Iri releases the connection between herself and the chakra. The leaves disperse and continue to fall to the ground. Iri turns to face Nyl. "Yep, that's the one that gives me trouble. I can't focus on anything else when I use it, and to keep myself from passing out I have to limit the strength I can put behind it. Those two facts alone make it impractical to use unless I'm working with one or two other people. When I can use it without inhibitions, though, it really packs a punch."

"Not too practical for fighting purposes, though, if it leaves you that vulnerbale afterward." Nyl remained seated in the air, one hand tapping her chin in thought.
"Well, is there anything in particular you would like to learn?"

The wings on Iri's back shrug. "Ways to achieve greater discipline and methods to improve the strength of my chakra. Also, a better understanding of chakra and its uses. Once I start going in those directions, I imagine other doors will open more easily. I don't have anything specific I want to learn until then."

"Okay." Nyl stood again, brushing her hands together. "Well, one way to improve the strength of your chakra is just to practice with it. That can help with discipline too, depending on how you swing it."
Holding out one hand, Nyl twitched her fingers slightly. A sphere of wind began to spin in her palm, slowly solidifying into a ball of chakra with a slight blue tint.
"If you do something like this, and concentrate on making it as small and condensed as possible, that helps with both. It's difficult at first, usually...but you seem like you might pick it up easily."

Iri holds out her own hand and emits chakra from her fingers. Tiny wind currents pick up like a miniature dust devil in her palm. She waves her fingers to entice the air to form a concentrated sphere, but feels it resist, and she sees why. The molecules air is made of want to expand, not condense. Getting them to behave in that manner is asking them to go against their nature. Iri knows she can do it with time and practice, but to do so on a large scale, in more complicated forms, and in a fighting situation would be difficult.
Already she is formulating different ways practice with that little cyclone.
Iri looks up at Nyl and smiles. "I appreciate it, Nyl. I'll practice this regularly. Anything else I need to know?"
(( Gotta go. It's midnight here and I have tons of stuff to do tomorrow. I plan to start at 8:30 am and probably won't be back home until 11:00 pm or midnight. Later. ))

He moved in silence, after all, dont all ninja? A simple black robe clung to him, keeping him completely covered, everything. His face was a shadow, due to the thick cloak covering it. As he approached the steps to the dojo he hesitated. Was this very smart? Yes, actually, it was the smartest thing to do. Especially if his father was still about. If not he could at least talk with the woman named Nyl, or maybe even the man named Seph. The door slid open as he approached it and he walked in. Where might they be?

Could that be someone he was looking for? Also, why did it take him that long to realize that there was someone about? He frowned, scolded himself, then walked back outside, looking up at the roof.
" Er...Hello up there." Said the figure. His voice betrayed his age, making it easy to tell that he was pretty young.

Reeve walks around aimlessly on the grounds, hands pocketed. His voice drifts quietly across the area, blending with the breeze as he sings.
" I walk through her streets, cos she's my companion.
I walk through her hills, cos she knows who I am.

Iri disperses the palm-sized cyclone when the stranger voices his presence. She moves over to the side of the roof and looks down, but she doesn't say anything. Out of caution and habit, she usually waits for someone to show their intentions before she shows hers. The stranger sounds close to her own age, though, so she doesn't feel very concerned by this one.
Then another voice, this one familiar, catches her attention. Iri smiles and looks around for the source. It's been a while since she's spoken with Reeve, and she enjoys his company as much as she enjoys talking to Sage.
(( I've got more down time today than I thought I would. Anybody here? ))
