@Magni: WHile I still prefer dubbed, I almost exclusively watch subbed now just b/c of how little gets dubed (or I don't want to wait for it, or I don't like them cutting content, or the voice acting is atrocious).
@Magni & Bliss: My answers were a mix between thief/rogue-y and mage-y. I imagined I'd get one or the other, and I guess a vampire is, in a way, a mix between the 2.
That would indeed be quite the RP, this mix of players and character classes.
Yeh, as a vamp, I'd most likely be the one the party's not ever entirely comfortable around.
I agree with that rider-player-class correspondence.
Okay, this is seriously starting to sound like an amazing idea to run with.
EDIT: Alas, I am not certain I can commit the time. The last time I tried to make time for an RP, it would sometimes take me a week to reply, and I feel really bad for doing that to Skreemer & Bliss.
@Bliss: Nah, I was just going for a simpler look for a while. I'm back to my moon theme, now with red petals added. More vamp-like, at least metaphorically?

Yoder: Doesn't it?! I've been stuck on this for some time. The ideas keep forming . . . such as a guide that is locked in an eternal prison. One that keeps the user healthy and immobile with magics of ancient lore. The body is kept in perfect state without food, water, or movement. The 'freedom' allowed comes from a harness that allows the soul to be projected out. It is a prison that does not need bars or gates. The soul cannot escape, cannot touch or interact with anything. In truth, this person is an ancient power that once threatened existence. His power stripped and given to various creatures. The party would have to return trinkets to him in order for him to reveal where the next one would be or some other little carrot to dangle. As it is an astral projection- the party can't see what he really looks like. Only how he chooses to appear.
His body is bound in armor and such is bolted to his skin. As he gains the trinkets and absorbs their power, he physically grows and slowly the armor strains and breaks away. It was never meant to keep harm out- it was designed to keep him in.
