((Sorry guys, havent been in a RP kinda mood, still not really sweatdrop ))
[Earlier that Morning]
light shown in through the slightly parted cutains, forcing Tk to roll over, avoiding the orange beams of death. 'dont wanna wake up yet...'. Next thing Takamaru shot straight up, as if life just sparked within him for the first time. His hands serching his Body for injuries. The last thing he remembered was that he was walking back to the hotel when a wave of pain came over him, it made him feel as if he'd been pulled in half.
"I- Im fine, but how'd i get back here?" he mumbled, looking around there hotel room. He didn't remember walking back here. the Steel type trainer look over to the other bed, occupied by a shirtless snoring Hiba. 'Hiba must have found me and brought me back here..' that was the only explanation he could think of. Next to his bed were all four of his Pokeballs, X-transeiver, as well as his Slingpack and Shirt.
Tk then realized how full his bladder was 'gotta Pee..' he thought, going to stand up from his bed. Almost immedietly falling to one knee. He then came to another realization, he felt completely drained, like something was continuously sapping the strength from his Limbs. He'd Later come to realize that this was the affect of continuously using Aura.
Re-standing, the youth made his way to the bathroom when he heard the sound of flushing. himself standing directly in front of the bathroom door when it opened, revealing his reflection, or what he thought to be his reflection at first glance.
both stood Still, Takamaru and his reflection. neither moved. then the Reflection Blinked. Wait, why could Tk see himself blink? and who made the toilet flush? and how come he could see the bathroom behind his reflection, shouldn't he see the wall behind himself?
"Hi ya'!" his reflection said, holding up a Hand, a smile, No, HIS smile on his lips. Next thing Takamaru felt was the room spinning as he blacked out. His surprise to much to handle all at once.
((More to come.))

((Don't you just hate it when you wake up and you realize you're in the Twilight Zone?))
Jump
"The forest it is, then." Jump hadn't yet told Zack and Jacqueline that he had originally planned to give the car to Salieri once she was ready to go to Nimbasa. He didn't have much need for a vehicle with his insane speed and Black Star at his disposal. He also had a feeling it would probably blow up if it was under his care for too long.
Now that he was working with Zack again, that worry was likely to become a reality. Eh, we probably should have a car for these missions. Maybe I can get Jackie to give me that sweet flower van, and an instruction manual for that sweet flower van.

Salieri
Salieri smirked, stepping forward. "I'm sure you weren't," she said in mock reassurance, giving Wayne a little wink. She looked ahead of the trainer through the doors to the arena, where Burgh awaited his next challengers. It looked like the standard battleground. Sal wondered if there were any traps or field changes that would occur. Bug types usually worked with their terrain.
There were only seven known species that could learn Blaze Kick, and Salieri's Monferno was one of them. Wukong also happened to be a master of it's basics. The Battle Girl thought back to what Wayne's party consisted of. A Psychic, a Grass type, and a Fighting type.
Two pokemon weak to Bugs, and one who's attacks were ineffective against them. He wouldn't have it easy. The idea of a challenge imposed by typing made Salieri start rethinking her decision as to what pokemon to use herself.
Wukong is the obvious choice. And Liuye's got those resistances. But I need to work with Haizhe. And if I want to win Chen Zhen and Salem over again, we might have to fight this one together... This would not be as easy as she thought.
"Blaze Kick? Well, you know how much I love to teach people how to beat stuff up. Alright, no problem." The Battle Girl stepped past Wayne and clapped him on the shoulder. "Just sit tight, I'll be done with this real soon."
And then Salieri would enter the double doors to face Unova's third Gym Leader.

((I hate it whenever I wake up where I didn't fall asleep. Never a good sign.))
Wayne nodded, "Okay, sure." The doors closed behind Sal and then he realised: "Ah... I kinda need to go to the pokémon center."
Luckily there was a small map near the front of the gym, which gave trainers directions between the gym building and the pokémon center, plus the ways to get in and out of the city but Wayne didn't need those yet.
"Where were you the other night?" He sighed, memorising the sign's information. Salieri would have already started her battle now; he'd make this trip a quick one. Wayne sprinted out of the gym and down the street.

“Welcome to the Castelia City Gym, haven to Bug type pokemon and art alike!” Burgh exclaimed while Salieri walked over to the challenger’s box. He held out his arms in a grand gesture of the room. “My name is Burgh, and I am the Gym Leader! I am here to test your skill and see if you are worthy of claiming the Insect Badge!”
Salieri just nodded, putting a hand on her hip while eyeing the room. “Uh-huh. I'm Salieri Del Forrest, but you can just call me Sal.” She looked over her shoulder at the wall. “So what’s with all the honey?” “Come again?” “Why is there honey all over your walls and, like, in your doorways?”
From the distance across the field, Salieri couldn’t make out Burgh’s full facial expression. It was hard to tell if these question disarmed him or not, since there was a pause before he answered with “Bugs love honey!” “Right, right. See, I like fruit salad, but I’d rather eat it than use it to decorate my room. You know what I mean?” “But Bugs love honey!”
She facepalmed. “Let’s just do this already. Rules?”
A column shaped computer rose from the ground next to Burgh in his challenger’s box. It would analyze the average level of Salieri’s pokemon, and choose appropriately leveled pokemon for the challenge. After a moment of whirring noises, a pokeball popped up from the machine. Burgh grabbed it.
“This will be a three on three match, with no items. If you step into the arena or interfere in any way with the match, it’s over. And that’s it! Let’s get straight to it!”
Salieri grinned while taking a pokeball off of her belt. “My thoughts exactly.”
The two released their pokemon. Haizhe floated above the ground, facing off against the Dwebble on the other side of the battlefield. His right eye began to bubble as the Scope Lens emerged from his gelatinous head to cover his pupil. [This room has no taste! NO TASTE!] the crazed Frillish screamed, waving his arms around like soggy noodles. [I shall hang your body up on the sticky material coating these walls, you uncultured snail! AND THEN EAT YOUR SOUL!]
Dwebble looked back to Burgh. A sweatdrop appeared on the back of the Bug’s head. Burgh just shrugged. “The first move is yours.”
Sal took out her pokedex, checking out the unfamiliar pokemon. Part Rock? So her Frillish had a type advantage after all. Perfect. “Let’s do this right! Haizhe! Use-“
[Take this, proletariat scum!] Haizhe screamed while steam began to rise from his head. He puffed up his cheeks and then fired beams of Scalding water at Dwebble.
The Bug was faster than it looked, jumping and weaving through the blasts to get closer to Haizhe. “Night Slash!” called Burgh, and Dwebble rose up a black colored claw to slash at the Frillish.
“Acid Armor, you idiot!”
Haizhe’s body became a translucent blue as it reformed into a floating, donut shaped liquid blob. Dwebble passed right through the center, skidding along the ground past Haizhe and the Frillish turned around.
Salieri groaned. Haizhe had power, but clearly lacked restraint of any sort. Even before giving another order, he was at it again, shooting blasts of Scald once more at Dwebble. The Bug type didn’t have much trouble dodging such a tactless assault.
“Discipline is a form of art you have yet to learn,” Burgh taunted. He swiped his hand out to the side. “Night Slash again!”
Dwebble leaped up once more with a blackened claw. Haizhe attempted to change his shape again, but this time was nicked while reshaping. As a stream of blue liquid he faltered, floating close to the ground before rising up again. Boosted defenses allowed him to take the hit, but not unscatched.
Sal checked out her pokedex quickly. It didn’t show on his gelatinous body, but the hit was critical. If he suffered another, he’d have to fall back to Recover. “Catch him before he falls!”
Still a floating stream of liquid, Haizhe flew himself over to the midair Dwebble and encapsulated the pokemon in the body. The liquid spun around rapidly as a sphere until Haizhe reformed himself. His tentacle arms were now locked around Dwebble in a fierce Constrict.
The Bug could feel his shell become strained, but it would be long before it cracked. Still, he could not move. “Now finish this with a Scald! “Shell Smash!”
Before Haizhe could let loose a point blank finisher, the rock on Dwebble back cracked and shattered. Dwebble, now free from his confines, slipped right through Haizhe’s grasp and narrowly missed getting soaked by boiling water.
Now twice as fast, Dwebble zipped around the arena. It was hard for Salieri’s trained eyes to keep up with this new speed. With the power boost, one more hit would be the end of Haizhe. The Frillish puffed up his cheeks, preparing to fire Scald again.
Salieri grit her teeth. The pace of the battle had sped up drastically, and now it would be decided by who got hit next. He’s been wary about that super effective move since the beginning. Got to catch him off guard, it's the only way he'll fall for it! “Wait! Slip him up!”
Haizhe paused, blinking in realization. [Brilliant!] He puffed up his cheeks again, and instead of steam a cool vapor rose from his head. The Frillish unleashed a zigzagging Ice Beam at the ground from his mouth.
Part of the arena floor became coated in ice, and Dwebble took a misstep right in it. The Bug type slipped around, struggling for balance to not fall. It was a small opportunity, but now was the time to strike.
“Fire!”
Haizhe focused his Scope Lens in on his target, then let loose a beam of boiling water. It collided with the other pokemon, blasting Dwebble into the honey coated walls like a hose.
When the attack let up, Salieri could see that she had nailed a victory. With Dwebble’s lowered defenses thanks to Shell Smash, one super effective hit was all that she needed. The Bug pokemon stuck to the wall, unconscious.
Salieri grinned as Haizhe floated over to her. The Frillish had his tentacles folded across his chest, looking smug. [Have they not read Art of War? Well, neither have I, but if I recall correctly it states that a good combatant should always shoot random lasers into-]
SPLOOSH! Sal smacked the side of his gelatinous head, and from her look of disgust afterwards it was clear she wished she hadn’t touched him. “Stop looking so smug! You looked like a dork out there until the end!”
Her rant was cut short by the angry Frillish wrapping his tentacles around her face, causing her to flail around in an attempt to get him off while he made alien gurgling noises.
Burgh smirked, recalling his pokemon and grabbing another pokeball from the computer. “A clever use of terrain. Let’s see if you can repaint your victory.”
Haizhe detached himself from Sal, and the two looked at each other. “Do you have another round in you?”
The Frillish fired an Ice Beam into the air, freezing a chunk of the ceiling. Apparently this meant yes, because the next thing Salieri did was turn to Burgh and say, “Alright, Round 2.”

Although he'd been here several times already, Wayne had never really appreciated just how huge the building was. Its face overlooked the ocean, doors great and wide and made of glass. It was a building used by many; trainers who needed their pokémon to be healed or checked up on. It was normally simple, clean, an every-day process. But sometimes things went wrong. Sometimes, things died in the Pokémon Center.
Shery.
He didn't know how long he'd been standing there staring at the doors. People came and went and he hardly noticed. It wasn't until he remembered that he had to get back in time for training with Salieri that Wayne pushed on.
Inside, the back dorm areas were blocked off by police tape. Official-looking people were hanging around beyond the line, preserving the crime scene. It happened in his room. Because of him.
Wayne could've sworn one of the policemen noticed him amidst the rabble of trainers. And that same man pointed him out to his colleague. The trainer avoided the front desk, looking for a potion vending machine. He had little money as it was, but the loss against Burgh had taken a hefty hit on Wayne's bank balance. He emptied it on a pair of potions and put them in a pocket each.
Fire danced in his stomach. One of the policemen had started in Wayne's direction. He ducked behind a crowd of kids who looked to be travelling in a large group. They moved towards the exit, and Wayne kept himself on their right. The glass doors began to slide open and he darted out without looking back, running down the street like a thief making a break for it.
With enough medicine to get Hitmonlee back on his feet, Wayne ran back towards the gym and hoped to hell that he didn't get lost.

Haizhe floated back to his position in the arena before Burgh released his second pokemon: a huge centipede standing on four legs with large horns. Salieri checked her pokedex and learned that it was a Scolipede, with Poison as a secondary type.
Looks goofy, but the dex says it’s quick. The best option would be to have Haizhe fall back and Recover until I can figure out what this guy does. Then we keep our distance and nail him with attacks until he’s done.
….
But where’s the fun in that?
“Blast ‘em!”
Haizhe grinned sadistically before puffing up his cheeks, filling up his head with boiling water. He opened his mouth to fire a Scald, and the heated stream flew directly at Scolipede’s head.
The centipede ducked, rushing forward much faster than Salieri had anticipated. Even with those clumsy looking legs, the Bug closed the distance quickly. Haizhe finished his attack, only to see Scolipede rise up from below.
Salieri grit her teeth. “Fall back!” she ordered as Scolipede jumped and somersaulted forward. Her Frillish floated up and away, but it was too late. His body slammed into the ground, impacted by Scolipede’s falling Poison Tail attack.
Her dex beeped, and Salieri checked Haizhe’s status. Poisoned. The attack wasn’t very effective, but still took a chunk of his hitpoints. Coupled with Poison, Haizhe didn’t have much longer to fight. No time to Recover…let’s hope this slows him down.
“Scald!” “Megahorn!”
Haizhe floated back up, just as Scolipede started rushing at him again. The Frillish unleashed one more jet of piping hot water at the Bug. Scolipede was too close to dodge, and Sal grinned when the hit was direct. Gotcha, creepy crawly.
But her sense of satisfaction turned into anxiousness when Scolipede simply bowed his head down and pushed through the hosing stream headfirst. His powerful horns plowed forward, gaining ground. Haizhe winced from the Poison, causing him to let up on his assault. Scolipede rushed forward, not impeded by the attack any longer, and slammed his horns into Haizhe.
The Frillish was sent flying, and flopped into a honey coated wall. He struggled to break free, but felt too weak to phase through the obstacle. “Frill…ish…” he panted with purple tinged cheeks.
The corner of Salieri’s lips turned down in a slight frown as she recalled Haizhe. It didn’t matter if he wasn’t knocked out, the match was still over. “Pretty good job,” she muttered to the pokeball. She was disappointed that she lost, but the compliment was genuine. Haizhe had potential, no doubt about it.
Reaching into her bag, she retrieved and released her next pokemon. Chen Zhen materialized atop of his Air Balloon, sitting in a cross legged position. He was surprised to be in the Castelia Gym, enough that he turned over his shoulder and momentarily gave his trainer a strange look. Salieri wasn’t sure if it was confusion or regret that remained since yesterday.
Burgh rose an eyebrow. The computer said that the challenger had a Monferno and a Pawniard, two choices that would give her a distinct advantage in the gym. Yet she neglected to use them. Beyond that, her relationship with her Pansage seemed to be strained. Interesting, but foolhardy.
Even floating three feet above the ground, Chen Zhen still had to crane his neck to look the massive centipede in the eye. He gulped.
“This squirmy thing is fast. And he took out Haizhe. But I know you can beat him!” Salieri grasped at the air, clutching tightly at something only she saw in front of her. Her amber eyes glared into the back of Chen Zhen’s head. “Chen Zhen, it’s okay to mope around sometimes, but right now you have to trust me. I know you don’t want to lose this fight! We always said we’d get to the top together, and this is the next level, so it’s time for you to man up!”
The Pansage took a deep breath. She didn’t understand. He had let his anger, his jealousy, his guilt and his sorrow get the best of him, and it made him useless. He forgave Salieri, but Chen Zhen didn’t forgive himself for being weak where it counted the most.
The Pansage reared back and rubbed his cheek where Kiedis slapped him. [Don’t be such a b***h. Man up!]
He gulped. The teddy bear pokemon was surprisingly intimidating. [W-what?]
Kiedis’s eyes shined with a purple glint. A razor sharp aura of light glimmered on the tips of his claws. [You gotta be tough!]
“This is a touching display you’ve put on, but you don’t have time for sentimental speeches in a pokemon battle!” Burgh grinned and pointed at Chen Zhen. “Scolipede, use Steamroller!”
His pokemon obliged, darting forward and curling into a wheel. The centipede’s speed was tremendous, much quicker than when he ran before. Scolipede bounced off the ground and flew at the midair Chen Zhen.
One super effective attack would spell the end for Chen Zhen. Salieri knew the risks she had taken in choosing him. But she had prepared him well in taking out larger opponents. “Fall and retaliate!”
Her Pansage popped the balloon with his tail, then fell to the ground. Chen Zhen fluidly dropped to his knees and leaned all the way back. Scolipede passed inches over his body, rolling right past him. The monkey jumped back up, an readied but Scolipede was already making a tight U-Turn. Even with the loss of precise movement from the wheel shape, he was still right on track for a collision course with Chen Zhen again.
He sensed the impact coming. Was there time to dodge? Did it matter? Too late!
Chen Zhen held up his arms and Vine Whips sprouted from his wrists, weaving together almost instantly into a thick circular shield. Scoilpede rammed straight into it, struggling to break through. Chen Zhen braced himself, but could not overcome the attack’s might as Scolipede tore through the vines and rolled right into the Pansage.
Salieri ran to the edge of the challenger’s box, gripping onto the protective railing. “CHEN ZHEN!”
His body was flung across the arena, skipping across the ground twice before he held out a hand and flipped himself back onto his feet for a skidding halt. Burgh rose an eyebrow. That attack should have finished him off. The Gym Leader rubbed his chin and looked at his computer.
Scolipede Status: Burned
He looked up at Scolipede, seeing freshly risen burns around the centipede pokemon’s face. “So that Frillish did more than just a splash of damage after all,” mused Burgh. He cast out a hand to his side. “Megahorn should be enough!”
Salieri banged on the railing with her fist. “I know this should be easy for you! Drop all that spineless crap and STAND UP, CHEN ZHEN!”
Chen Zhen stood up, breathing heavily and closing his eyes. [Gotta be tough, gotta be tough, gotta be tough-] Scoilpede bowed his head down once more and rushed at the Pansage with his threatenin horns, looking just as much like a bull as he did a centipede in that moment.
The Pansage opened his eyes. A purple sparkle glimmered across his eyes. [GOTTA BE TOUGH!]
He stood up tall, raising up a clawed hand in preparation as Scolipede ran at him. Chen Zhen lunged forward, and Scolipede let loose a grunt of a warcry. But then Chen Zhen suddenly stopped himself, because only inches away from him Scolipede had froze in position. Only the centipede’s eyes could move, darting back and forth in confusion and fear.
Both Sal’s pokedex and Burgh’s computer beeped. The two looked down to check their respective devices.
“Hone Claws? Wha? What’s that, where’d he learn that?” “Disabled from Cursed Body? That Frillish was more than a one hit wonder after all!”
Chen Zhen realized that he had time for another move, now that his opponent had been temporarily stopped. His eyes shimmered again with another activation of Hone Claws, and he stood up straight. The Pansage started grinning as he cracked his neck, then his knuckles. A mischievous look appeared behind that purple sparkle.
Now it was Burgh who was gritting his teeth as Salieri put a hand on a flared hip. With a devilish smirk, she sneered. She didn’t know that Jump had inadvertently helped her out in more ways than one by bringing Kiedis and Chen Zhen together, but she didn’t care how the move was learned either.
All she knew was that Chen Zhen was ready to man up and get to the next level. This would be even easier than she thought.
“Do you want to see what kind of art the Del Forrest’s practice? Let us paint you a picture, Burgh!”

[A little later in the morning, still not on Par with the present though.]
When Takamaru began to come too, everything was a bit fuzzy. He could make out that he was laying on the bed. He could hear Hiba singing, probably in the shower. Realy, that man was not meant to sing. he could also make out another person in the same room as him.
the other voice sounded very familiar, Tk could tell that he was cheering. "Go Go go! take him down!" the other voice shouted. from Tk's spot on the Bed he couldn't see who it was that was cheering, but he could make out the sounds of the TV, he was obviously watching a recording of the Jhoto regions championships from 2 years ago. Tk would know, he was there.
some time passed and the TV grew silent. "Man, that still awesome, no matter how many times i see it." came that mysterious voice. Now, Takamaru began to stir, sitting up and leaning on his elbows, using on hand to Rub his still sore head.
"Ah, Hiba!" Called the voice. "Im Up, Im up!"
Tk looked over to finally see who the voice belonged too. What he saw was just as surprising as the first time. He was looking at an exact replica of himself.
the bathroom Door opened, revealing Hiba with a towel around his waste. "Bout time you woke up" Hiba said, running a Hand through his short wet brown hair.
"Wh- who?" Tk stumbled with his words as his look alike walked over and sat down next to him. "Who is he!" Tk finally managed.
"Me? Im you of course. Never knew i was such an idiot" replied the Takamaru look alike.
Tk looked to Hiba. hiba shrugged. "All i know is that i found him collapsed right next to you when i was on my way back to our room last night. I didn't know what to do so i brought you both back to the hotel. got a whole lot of weird looks on my way, Dunno why." Hiba finished. He intentionally left out the part about what happened at the Plasma banquet
The three were silent.
"But anyway's, get dressed" Hiba said, throwing The real Tk a shirt. "You've got a Gym match today.
Tk caught the shirt and dawned it. "Yea, but doesn't this-" he pointed to his doppelganger, "-Weird you out at all?" he finished, pulling on some sock's and his shoes.
"Nope, ive seen some pretty weird things before, this is mild compared to all that" Hiba said, walking from the bathroom again, this time Dressed in a plain red shirt and brown shorts.
"No use thinking to hard over it, im you and your me. i dunno why but i think that explosions that happened yesterday had something to do with it." Said Tk's doppelganger.
"Yea, i guess so" replied the real Tk. Hiba nodded in agreement.
"alright, looks like were already to go. lets rock n' roll!" Hiba said in his usual upbeat monotone voice. All three left the room, sling packs at there side's, leaving nothing in there hotel room.
[Present Time.]
The sun was high in the sky as the Trio walked the streets of Castelia.
"Ne ne, lets stop and get something to eat!" Tk said "Ne ne, lets stop and get something to eat!" Tk's Doppelganger said
Both looked at each other.
"Stop that!" "Stop that!" Both said simultaneously
"Gha!!" "Gha!!" Both Tk's roared, leaping at each other in an attempt to cartoon-ishly strangle the other. they conitued to wrestle with one another until Hiba reached in and Pulled them apart, holding each by there collar, several feet of the ground
"c'mon you too, Cut it out" Hiba said, looking around, not really focused on the Twin Tk's. "Look, well stop for a Bite there" He pointed to an out door resraunt that wasn't too crowded. He let both Tk's down.
"Fine" "Fine" Both said simultaneously, again ushering a wrestling match. Hiba just shook his head and walked past them, they'd Join him when they got hungry.

(("This is, er, great, Sal. You want me to hang it up next to the Weedle you drew?" "Are you blind? That's a Dragonair!" Also, here's some battle music for ya)) Vine Whip shot out of Chen Zhen’s palm, upwards towards the ceiling. While Disable’s stun was still in effect, Scolipede could not move anything but his eyes, and with his head bowed he could not see what Chen Zhen was trying to do. “Poison Tail!” Burgh called to his pokemon. If he managed to get the attack off, he might be able to knock out the Pansage with Poison. As soon as the stun was over, Scolipede swiveled his body around to smack his tails into Chen Zhen. The monkey yanked on the vine, pulling himself up and tucking in his legs. He went right over the end of Scolipede’s body, and as the centipede finished his 360 spin he saw just what Chen Zhen had grabbed onto. It was a large chunk of ice frozen into the ceiling by Haizhe the round before. Chen Zhen’s pull detached the icicle from the ceiling, yanking it down to crash on top of Scolipede’s head. The ice shattered and Scolipede winced, stepping back in pain. “Recycle!” Salieri shouted. Her Pansage held his palm up to the shards of ice that were midfall. They became surrounded by two curved green arrows that rapidly spun around to form a recycling symbol. It looked like the icicle was being rewound in time as the shards came together and formed the same ice chunk again. Chen Zhen leaned back in midair and pressed both of his feet onto the side of the icicle. He pushed off, kicking it into Scolipede to smack him with the same hunk of ice twice in a row. As soon as he landed on the ground, he was off again. Hone Claws boosted his reflexes, senses, and precision to make him more accurate. With this newfound agility, he bounded up at Scolipede’s head. “Pin Missile!” Scolipede opened his mouth and fired five white needles from his mouth directly at Chen Zhen. The Pansage narrowed his eyes, then held out his hands like claws. He swiped ahead at the Pin Missiles with his Fury Swipes, breaking each one in the center without losing any momentum in his jump. While Scolipede took a second to brace for the pain of his Burn, Chen Zhen fired two Vine Whips from his wrists at the centipede’s horn’s. He swung him around and stood on the back of Scolipede’s head, clutching the vines like reins. Scolipede’s eyes shook with fury. “Steamroller!” Burgh ordered. Scolipede bowed down in a running start and began to curl into a ball. Chen Zhen felt himself lurch forward, like a rollercoaster. If he continued to hold on, he would be flattened into the ground. Burgh smirked. Let’s see how she deals with this defense.Salieri put her index fingers and thumbs together to form a circle with her hands. “Chen Zhen! BE THE DONUT HOLE!” Burgh furrowed his brow. What? The Pansage nodded, retracting one of his vines and releasing his hold on that horn. Before he did the same with the other vine, he used it to swing into the center of Scolipede’s wheel shaped body. Now standing on the centipede’s neck, he was looking directly at his face. “You’re trapped now! Defense Curl!” yelled Burgh. If Scolipede continued to roll up his body, he’d be able to squeeze Chen Zhen into a bind until he could position himself slam the Pansage into the ground. “We’re right where we want to be! Finish it off, CHEN ZHEN!” As Scolipede began to curl up his body to remove the hole in the center of his circular shape, Chen Zhen was running out of space. The light from the outside began to dwindle as less opening for it was available in Scolipede’s trap. Just as it was getting too small, Chen Zhen somersaulted forward and drop kicked Scolipede in the face. He bounced off, flipping and kicking at Scolipede’s stomach before bouncing off again for another strike. Scolipede’s body unfurled rapidly as Chen Zhen used Acrobatics to continuously rebound and strike every part of the inside of the wheel. The centipede could do nothing but become bug eyed in pain as he was thrust into the air by one final spin kick directly in his center. Chen Zhen landed both his feet with one hand’s fingertips bracing the ground. Behind him, Scolipede fell onto the ground with swirly eyes. He was down for the count. The Pansage looked over his shoulder, then at Salieri. With a big smile, he ran over to his trainer. Grinning in kind, Salieri jumped up and shot out a leg in a spin kick, allowing a platform for Chen Zhen to jump off of. He did so, flipping up into the air as Salieri finished her spin and landed on one leg with her other bent in front of her. She held out her elbow and Chen Zhen landed on it. And they finished this off with a high five. “You’re scrappy as hell, Chen Zhen!” Salieri told him, giving the monkey a big thumbs up. Chen Zhen rubbed the back of his head, blushing while giggling to himself. “Pa pa pa pa paaan.” Recalling his second pokemon, Burgh reached into the computer for a third. “Very impressive! I didn’t think such a little pokemon had such shocking colors in him! Are you ready for this? My muse and masterpiece?” “Of course we are!” Salieri called back as she threw Chen Zhen back to the arena like a baseball. He flipped through the air several times before landing on one leg like his trainer with his arms up and ready in a relaxed kung fu stance. Materializing on the other side of the arena was a large mantis type pokemon that looked like a maid. Her smile was wide and cheerful, but a little unsettling. Salieri recognized it as a Leavanny. Her mother, Sophie, had one as well. But this one was creepier. “Alright Leavanny, cut him down!” “Get ready for Acrobatics again!” Leavanny held her arms out and ran forward, moving at a speed that was even hard for Chen Zhen to perceive with his accelerated senses. Even with his enhanced reflexes, Leavanny was closing the distance fast. He didn’t have time for any large movements, so he jumped up in preparation to punch down on top of Leavanny’s head. But Leavanny was too quick, and she was at her target just as he launched his punch. She brought her bladed arms together for an X-Scissor, making an X sharped slice across Chen Zhen’s chest. The monkey was blasted back, skidding across the ground until he slammed into Salieri’s trainer box. She leaned over the railing to see if he was okay. By the time the smoke cleared, it was clear that he was KO’ed. Holding out his pokeball, Sal recalled Chen Zhen. This Leavanny was very fast, not to mention that it didn’t have any damage or hindering statuses like Scolipede did. Salieri looked cautiously at her next pokeball, then decided to pick it up. Burgh was surprised when Salieri released an Espeon, once again choosing a disadvantageous type. He looked at his computer screen. Scolipede And Espeon: Synchronized“This match is riding on your pokemon choice. Are you sure that’s a wise move?” Salem looked back for confirmation, and Sal nodded without hesitation. “Of course.” Her eyes met Salem’s, causing the Espeon to flinch and look away. Salieri’s battle ready confidence faded to a softer, sympathetic look. “Salem…” She didn’t want to look back at Salieri, but Salem listened anyway as Sal started talking. “What happened before, with the Synchronization, was out of my control. You saw what my life was like before I met you. I guess it made some biases in my head.” Now it was Sal who was looking away. “For a second, I guess I really did think you were a monster…” The Espeon’s head bowed, and her lips curled down sadly. “But this morning I saw clearly why I wanted to do this. It used to be because I wanted to prove something, but not anymore! I’m not bound by anybody’s expectations! There is no shadow to live under anymore! I don’t challenge the pokemon league for anybody else! I challenge it for me!” The Battle Girl took a step back and jabbed a thumb at her self. “I’m Salieri Del Forrest, heiress to my own destiny! I’m going to craft it into something the world has never seen! I’m going to stand on top, and I’m going to get there with all of my friends!” She held out a hand, beckoning to Salem. Her Espeon turned around. “I don’t care what you look like, or what your abilities are, as long as you’re still ready to go. As long as you’re still my Salem, then it doesn’t matter. But I’m not going to keep going if it means I’ll lose what I gained so far! And I know you don’t want to stop now, not after all you accomplished! Look how far you’ve come!” Salem’s mouth turned into a small O. She had only met Salieri a few days ago, but ever since then her life had taken a drastic turn. It was a new adventure every day. Salieri may have had mixed feelings about her change at one point, but it was clear now that her doubt was gone. Negative emotion and doubt had been tempered into willpower. Salem felt a strain in her chest, and the weight on her shoulders became lighter. “LET’S DO IT TOGETHER, SALEM!” For a moment their eyes locked, Salieri’s blazing with passion. And then, all of the sudden, she became still. She lowered her arms to the side, and her eyes became shadowed as she turned around, her back to the arena. Salem also lowered her head and her eyes became shadowed over too, as she turned her back to Sal and faced Leavanny. Burgh smirked as Leavanny sliced her bladed leaf hands together, creating sparks. “These speeches are cute, but they’re getting old. Leavanny, let’s end this so I can get back to painting.” In response, Salieri slowly turned back her head and stared into Burgh’s eyes. For a second, he thought his mind was playing tricks on him. Her eyes were amber no longer. Instead, she had adopted purple scleras with blank, white irises. Just like an Espeon’s. Burgh looked down at his computer screen. The digital letters scrambled ad reset into a different pattern to reflect the change. Salieri And Salem: Synchronized

((Burgh: Oh, for f-- -smacks machine- damn thing must be on the fritz again))
"Ha. Gym Street. It's so obvious," Wayne said with a hint of delight as he found the right road. He hadn't gotten lost... by far, and was currently running to return to the gym as quickly as possible.
Whatever scare he'd had in the pokémon center was long behind him, but the responsibility he bore towards Shery's death still weighed on his mind. It was okay, he'd just never go into that pokémon center again. After a while, the whole issue would just resolve itself, right?
Right?
"Oh crap," he muttered quietly, getting to the point where he wanted to stop running. There was nothing he could do for now except keep moving forward. Once he had his pokémon back, he'd get revenge for Shery and Katelyn.
Revenge? Fire ran through his gut. What exactly did that mean? He stopped running, now climbing the gym steps with a heavy walk. Wayne felt like he hated these people, but he wasn't a killer. There had to be another way.
"Yo, is this battle still on?" he asked the receptionist, whom Burgh had forced to wear a Vespiquen-inspired uniform. "The challenger that entered after you still hasn't left," she droned, "pity, you just missed the schmaltz."

((People go to hospitals, not pokémon centers razz ))
"Oh no, another one who tried the mountain route," the nurse shook her head. "Well, I suppose I'll have to phone for a doctor. Audino, phone for a doctor. And do something about all that blood."
Then the nurse left and the fat pink pokémon nodded. She went to grab Kenta by the arm and drag him into a corner. Afterwards she'd go for a mop and bucket, fill the bucket with water and rummage around in the storeroom for disinfectant. There would be a considerable amount of blood by this point, so she made sure to get the big mop. Once she was sure the blood had stopped flowing, Audino began to mop up, spraying disinfectant after herself.
She'd go back to the storeroom to find the wet floor signs. It took her a while, but she eventually came out with the yellow stands that warned people not to walk on the wet floor. Sadly, someone already had gone and fallen over, taking quite a knock. She helped them to their feet and patted the person down, running to the kitchen to fetch them a hot drink and a snack to help them get over the shock of being subject to gravity. The person would then be on their way and the pokémon could return to the original mess.
Audino would then press the speed-dial on the reception desk phone to summon a medic from the hospital, who was trained to cart around pokémon trainers who came to the pokémon center instead of the hospital and take them to the right place. Before he got there, she'd use Heal Pulse on Kenta to keep him alive, though she doubted he'd be able to move just yet, but he would still be in a lot of pain.
Kenta would probably wake up later on in a hospital bed with a large fee on the table next to him.
((Did you have a good time? biggrin ))

well in kentas defense, he was born in ilex forest and so associates more with pokemon. so its logical to head to the place that heals his 'family' rather than one that heals people. thanks for carting him off though ^^))
kentas eyes slowly opened. his arms wrapped up in bandages. sasha was curled up on top of him. he slowly glanced around the room, relizing he was in a hospital... a human hospital. he shivered at this thought. he had been dragged to one of these terrable places before. the scent of dissinfectant and desise, the cold hard floors... and the needles! ugh! he quickly sat up, waking sasha in the process. he tryed to get up but his legs felt numb. he tryed to shake it off but it would take awhile (they is asleep biggrin )
(it was amazing! i got afew awesome things. i went as red and even got the kanto badges at the con for it. i got a master sword, a bokken, there was a rave that played remixes of anime and vocaloid music, there were swordsmen shows, kendo demonstrations, and cosplay chess!)

Nimbasa City looked amazing. The bright lights were dazzling even in the afternoon sun. Then Luka looked at himself. He looked like a mess. He was covered in sand and baking under the sun. First step should be to get a hotel room and have a shower. He really needed it. Thankfully, he had been saving for years so he still had more than enough money to afford hotels in a few more cities. After that, he'd probably have to start resorting to the Pokémon Centres.
He made his way to the nearest hotel, booked in for two nights and had that shower that he desperately wanted. Never again would he cross that bleeding desert. He now had an absolute hatred for deserts. All they did was coat you in sand, make you overheat and they were just generally horrible places to be. So yeah, never again. He hoped.
Whilst Luka cleaned himself off, his Pokémon were all sat in his room chatting which seemed to be a common occurance as of late.
Professor Layton was hovering by the bed discussing the history of the Desert Resort. [Back when I was a young Sigilyph, there was a huge city there in the desert. The people just seemed to aclimatise themselves to the desert conditions so well and they made some really beautiful glass sculptures from the sand. I think there were quite a few Sigilyph ones because of how awesome we were. I think there were also a number of people who suffered particularly horrible deaths and they became the Yamasks that you see today. I remember being horrified by that prospect, humans becoming Pokémon through death. I don't think there has been a case of Yamask-ification in millenia but, I haven't left the desert until now so I wouldn't know. If I recall correctly, the deaths were caused by a Cofagrigus that ate the souls of the people. That monster left them as husks that transformed in Yamasks which can then become a Cofagrigus because of the curse placed on its soul. I remember being friends with one poor soul who got eaten by a Cofagrigus. It pained me so much... The poor child....]
He turned away and tried to contain the emotions that were surging through him. He'd never tried to remember that day and it felt odd to be having these emotions.
Tayla walked over to him and stroked his back. [It's ok, Professor Layton. Just let it out. We all have our hardships. I'm sure someone saved his soul at some point.]
[Nobody could. It's impossible to save a Yamask or a Cofagrigus. They're dead. You can't kill what is already dead.]
[Then just keep his memory in your heart and then you will be doing your best for him. That way he shall still be cherished.]
[You think so?]
[Yes.]

["And in spite of recent events, next week's eradication of the Desert Resort's Yamask and Cofagrigus infestation is going ahead as planned. A World Government spokesperson had this to say:"
"We're just doin' all we can to rid the world of these vile freaks. Imagine, pokémon killing people and making them carry their faces around? Sorry, Team Plasma, but there ain't nothin' natural about this vermin."
"A compassionate report. Now for the weather--"]
"Huh," Wayne said, sitting in the gym's lobby and staring the TV. "Why do you have a TV in here anyway?" "Are you kidding me? Between this desk and stupid, question-asking trainers, I'd be bored to death." "Oh yeah. Trainers can be really stupid sometimes. Wait--"
