*Chris refused to get up or even move. Wayne could blame him. He knew what it was like to lose your family. This was even worse because Chris's was essentially disowning him. Wayne explained to the owner that he needed the diner a bit longer before calling Diana.*
Diana, Bruce. I need to get someone who is friends with Chris Powell and send to That 50's Diner right now.

Diana, this isn't the time to argue about who is giving who orders. The boy's mother joined The Church For Human Purity and disowned him. Yes. Thank you. Tell whoever you send that I will meet them out fron of the diner.
*Wayne hung up and stepped outside. He knew that Powell didn't like him. Better that his friends come to comfort him.*

::The first student Diana ran in to was Wally, talking to the Emo kids in front of the cafeteria. She told him that Chris was in town and needed a friend to go get him.
Diana offered to give Wally a lift (on account of the blindness), and Wally accepted. The two of them headed in to town.::
"Wally, your skin is cold as ice. Are you okay?"
"I'm okay. I've just been out running around..."

*Enters the room and starts putting on normal clothes.*
"Oh and One more thing.. We need to get Achilies some new clothes and a new cell phone... I hate having to run all over campus to find the guy..."

Thank you, Diana.
Mr. West, your roommate is inside. I've taken his amulet so there will be no chance he will act out. His mother has joined The Church For Human Purity. If you've been watching the news then you'll know the Church is expanding their rhetoric to include all superpowered people. Chris's mother has essentially disowned him. I'm going to have my lawyers look into it but for now he needs a friend. Please see that he gets home safely.
*Wayne and Diana get into Wayne's car and Alfred drives them back to school.*

*The diner was empty except for Chris and a waitress who was behind the counter. He was seated in a far corner booth with his back to the door. His head was down and he didn't acknowledge Wally. All he could think about was how his mother was abandoning him...for that disgusting hate spewing Church.*

::Wally heard Chris's breathing hard, and made his way to the far corner of the Diner. He sat down across from Chris. For several minutes, he didn't say anything.::
"Chris."
::The word broke the silence, quiet and yet shattering the void of nothing that seemed to be between the two boys. Wally put his hand on the top of the table, outstretched.::
"You are not alone."

"Cassie I'm afraid something horrible has happened to Chris. He could really use support from both of you girls right now."

Really? Where will you be going on Christmas break? Home. I have no idea where I'll be going...I don't have a home anymore. No racing down to the tree with my brothers to open presents. No showing off what we got to each other. No dinner with them.
I'll become a stranger to Jason and Jonathan. And they'll be taught to hate me.
