The bird chirped before flying away, heading back down to Maria. It conveyed the message to the girl, who blushed bright red and shooed the bird away. She glanced up at the ceiling--the roof--and wondered if she needed to wait until Shiro came back down, or if she should head up there.

Shiro continued to sit up there, wondering what Maria was doing. The bird hadn't come back yet so she must have shooed it away. The boy sighed, soon getting off the roof and climbing back inside through his bedroom window. He then sat on his bed, wondering what to tell Maria.

Maria heard a noise upstairs, and she headed up, before seeing that Shiro's door was slightly cracked. She could see that he was sitting on the edge of his bed, and she bit her lip before knocking on his door quietly.

Shiro looked up at his door, betting it was Maria. He sighed a little and sat more on his bed. Now he was getting nervous. "Come in."

Maria slowly came in, biting her lip as she glanced at Shiro, blushed, and glanced away. "The bird found me...."

Shiro nodded some, glancing at her. "It seems so. So..." he asked, looking to her fully, wondering what she was going to do.

Maria twisted her fingers together and bit her lip a little harder. "So....Ilikeyoutoo," she blurted quickly, even though she couldn't even understand what she'd just said.

Shiro caught her words and he got up. He walked over to her and put his hands back on her cheeks. He then pulled her into another kiss, hoping she didn't push him away.

Maria wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him back. She guessed it was fate that she followed him back to his village, after all.

Shiro held her close and kept the kiss for a while. Soon he broke for air and looked down at her. He wondered if this was supposed to happen. Him and her hooking up like this.

Maria blushed a little after the kiss was done, and she looked down again. This was....weird. Considering only a few days ago, they might have killed each other if given the chance.

Shiro blushed more and sat on his bed. He watched her, wondering if she was going to come sit with him, or run back home. Man his head was hurting from all these odd feelings.

Maria followed Shiro and sat beside him, picking up one of his bandaged hands gently and turning it over. "What did you do, anyways?"
