 "To live is to slowly be born."_____________________________Embergaze_____________________________[Embergaze heard a noise and saw Pebbleheart being hauled to the nursery. He stood, his muscles rippling in anxiety. Oh geez, Iceears is busy with a dying cat and now Pebbleheart's kits are coming-!
He bounded over to the queen, glancing over at Dice...Dice...he heard other cats call her name. Dicefoot. Right.]
"Hey, Dicefoot," he greeted quietly. "See if you can go help Iceears or something. We need her help, and someone needs to cover Sweetmoon while Pebbleheart gives birth."
[He didn't expect the she-cat to listen...it just made him feel better to finally get involved in Clan affairs.
He licked Pebbleheart's forehead, ruffling his fur a bit.]
"Hang on, Pebbleheart," he murmured, worry crossing his ember eyes.
"I think we need to move her to the medicine den so Iceears can work on both cats at once," he offered a bit shyly to the group.
(( Hurr, I understand your frustration, Ice. D: ))

An uneven trade for the real world...

(Wasn't frustrated, just thought it was hilarious that that was the first thing I thought.)
[Ice looked at Snowcherry and said,]
"Sweetmoon needs all of my attention right now. They need to be careful when they move her. I'm going to give you instructions to help Pebbleheart. There's going to most likely be blood. When a kit comes out, give it to another cat and have them lick it's fur backwards. It warms the kit up. get cobwebs for the bleeding after all the kits are out. Don't worry if Pebbleheart's twitching, that just means the kits are coming nicely. If anything seems wrong, tell me. Immediately. Also, when they move her, make sure her body's level. If you jostle her around to much it could cause prob- problems. Go now."
[Ice closed her eyes for a moment, vision of a cat coming to her. It looked like an apprentice, but Ice wasn't sure who it was. Ice shook her head and continued working.]

I was given a second chance I'm not sure I deserved.
[I scuttled towards the nursery, my green eyes wide with excitement as I took in all the commotion. Pebbleheart's having her kits! Hauntednight must be so happy! I thought, grinning.
Oh, my poor kit..
My head snapped up]
"H-Hello...?" I whispered softly.
[I've left her all alone.. The funny thing was I seemed to be the only one who could hear the voice. Odd. I shook my head and continued bouncing around, unable to wait for Pebbleheart's kits to be big enough to play with!]
[If you were wondering, yes, the voice was Birdsong moaning about Mapleleaf. Birdkit should start feeling some anguish and longing pretty soon. Yay]

[The comforting lick from Embergaze cause Pebbleheart to feel more confident in her process. She shut her eyes tightly, feeling the pain starting to tense a bit more. She yowled in pain, as the pain went into its maximum level. She kept her eyes shut, not wanting to look.]
...I'll make you happy...
[The words of the little kit allowed Pebbleheart's confidence to grow. The great pain didn't go away.]
...I'll make you happy...by bringing bright shade of colours in your days...
...that's why i'm called Shadekit...
[Pebbleheart finally opened her dull green eyes, looking around the den. She saw many supporting cats by her side. The pain was finally less tense, allowing Pebbleheart to feel a bit more relieved. She had to look, at her first kit. She turned her tired gaze, to see a small figure (Shadekit) laying on a pile of moss. A proud and happy smile formed on her lips, no words were able to choke out. Suddenly she felt another pain come. Pebbleheart shut her eyes tightly, breathing very quickly. With great force, she tried to push the pain away.]
...next is the one who represents battle, willing to fight for his whole clan, only to see your smile...
...Siegekit...
[The pain has gone away, as another kit was born (Siegekit). Pebbleheart opened her heavy eye lids, as she felt a bit more relieved. She didn't have the strength to turn her neck, to see the other one. She knew, as another pain started to come her way.]

My ears was also no help, for I couldn't hear anything but murmurs of various of unfamiliar voices. I tried to use my nose, by sniffing my way; although I had my nose, my legs weren't a lot of help. I felt weak, and helpless. Letting out squeaky, small mews, I tried calling for help...tried calling for my dear parents, to comfort and help me.]

[I bounced into the nursery, weaving around and under the warriors blocking my bath. I spotted my mother and scuttled over to her]
"Momma look! Another kit for me to play with!! Isn't it-"
[I was cut off, suddenly I didn't feel much like raving about how excited I was. I didn't feel that excited anymore anyways]
"I'll see you later, momma"
[I settled myself into the corner of the nursery, my big green eyes taking in everything as I struggled with my emotions]

[Shadow's ice blue eyes filled with amazement, as he saw the miracle of birth. He gave his sister swift licks on the head and smiled proudly at her.] "They're beautiful, keep pushing." Shadow encouraged. [Without hesitation, he licked one of the two kits (Sagekit) repeadilty, until he was completely clean. Next Shadow cleaned the other one, stopped when the little kit's fur warm dry, warm and fluffy. He smiled deeply at the two, happy to see such wonderful sight. He moved away from the crowd, not wanting Pebbleheart to feel stressed during her pregnancy...he didn't want the third one to be hurt. As he chuckled, he noticed a small figure in the corner of the nursery. It was little Birdkit, watching the crowd. He went over to the little kit and sat next to her, not really good with kits. Glancing down at the kit, he waved his tail nervously...for some reason, he didn't want the kit to be alone.] "H-hello Birdkit." Shadow greeted, in his deep tone. "Are you doing okay?" he asked with a bit of concern.

[I looked up, my green eyes wide. Shadow...]
"Hello, Shadow," I responded.
[Shadow, a meow with a flirty tone said, see what you've done to me? I've missed you, Shadow. Don't you miss me? it giggled, and then my mind went silent. I stared up at the tom, my mouth wide open]
"Um. Uh..." I stuttered.
[Why is he making me feel so embarrassed? I wondered. then, I came to my senses, feeling a sudden anger rush through me]
"Of course I'm doing ok!" I snapped, "Everything's fine!"
[And with that, I turned away from him with a huff, my calico tail thumping against the floor]

[Shadow's eyes grew wide, with bewilderment.] "Shadow..?" he whispered to himself. "How do you..know-" he stopped himself from continuing, as rage was shown in the little kit. [Shadow studied the kit very closely, as he noticed something oddly familiar about this kit. He watched as the kit walked away, with just disgust in the tom. Shadow couldn't help but chuckle a bit to himself, knowing he wasn't good with kits. But mainly...something else caused him to chuckle.] "Birdsong...this kit reminds me of you...I hope your watching..." he whispered to himself.

_________________________________________________________ ((i'm sorry if i cause too much rush, but i want the third kit to be born, that way neko can start her roleplay ^_^ ))
[The third kit caused much more pain than the other two. Pebbleheart used all the strength she had, to finish the final process. Her eyes were shut tight, as she yowled with pain.]
...the final one is as calming and joyful of an elegant swallow...
...Swallowkit...
[Finally...the process was over. The third kit was now set on the calming grounds of earth. Pebbleheart gently opened her heavy eye lids, picking up strong scent of blood. She breathed loudly, trying to calm her heart down. Her heart was at such rate, both with happiness yet worry. She looked up at her mate with bright, vibrant green eyes, with hints of worry.] "Hauntednight! How're the kits?! Are they okay?!" Pebbleheart asked, frantically. [She tried to get up to see her kits, however her legs as failed her, as she fell back down into her nest. She rested her chin on her paws, feeling less strength than before.] _________________________________________________________

I let out small cries of mews, begging to be in my mom's presence. My little tummy was empty, my hunger starting to rise. I let out more cryings mews for my father, to bring me some food. I then bumped into a small figure my size, who had my same scent. It was my brother, who also seemed to be struggling a bit.]

[I stuck my nose in the air snootily as he murmured something. I turned my head, my green eyes narrowed]
"When you talk to yourself, others may think you're insane, just so you know" I meowed.
[Insane.. a voice laughed, insane. Oh how I loathe that word. It became me, once. I gave another huff and turned back around, trying to distract myself. Kits! I scuttled over and looked down, keeping a small distance, not wanting to scare them]

((Yay they are born///lets say Snowcherry helped Pebbleheart give birth! Also, Swallowkit is gunna be the runt of the litter, and rlly sensitive and quiet, she is gunna hide or be rlly mad when her brothers fight, they will fight alot owo also can Shadekit be protective of Swallowkit :O?))

[Valorkit's light paws padded joyously around the nursery's entrance. Her blue eyes glanced about the entrance with curiosity. There were new kits! More friends to play with! Swirling above her small, puffy form excitedly as she waited outside. She was practically begging for someone to romp with, it was obvious. The ragdoll(breed) kit stared at the newborns 'They're so cute!!' her fur bristled, not with jealousy of not having a true mother through her experience, but of simple excitement for new playmates.]

[Serpentfang noticed a crowd around the nursery her ears immediately perked up and she bounded over with excitement!] One of the queens must be kitting! Serpentfang winders who it is? [With ease due to her long and slinder form she weaved through the crowd to see her freind Pebbleheart with her new, beautiful kittens. She smiled and purred.] "Congratulations Pebbleheart!! They are so beautiful! Hauntedheart must be so proud! Serpentfang just knows you will be a wonderful mother to them!" [She purred as she looked down at her apprentice, Ravenpaw, who was watching Iceear's careful work with awe.]
((Yeah!!!! Neko, your pics just keep getting better and better!! biggrin Sorry i never got a chance to draw your cat before this happened. D: i have been very busy. cry and who drew Ravenpaw? ))
