Beans was still in the midst of mentally examining his dream when he pulled into Iris' driveway.
((What kind of building does Iris live in? House? Apartment?))

Iris was crying a little, sitting at her table.

Beans exited his car and stood up, walking down the parking lot along the rows of apartments. When he reached the one in which Iris stayed, Beans paused.
The dream still irked him, but he was thinking about other things at the moment.
How could he console Iris when he was in grief himself?
This didn't matter - Iris was in potential need of a friend. Beans had many friends - not to mention a loving fiance. Iris... well, Beans didn't know if Iris had any. Sure, work friends, but - hardly friends at that.
Then, Beans climbed the stairs of the building to Iris' floor (needing the exercise), and went to the door. After a few more moments' worth of hesitation, he knocked.

Iris gasped and quickly wipped her eyes and cheecks clean of tears. She checked who was at the door. She opened the door, "Beans? What are you doing here?" here eyes were a bit swolen.

Beans saw the remains of tears at Iris' eyes. The teary, blood-shot eyes, swollen. The damp, flushed cheeks. The ragged hair. The grieving posture. He felt the mood. Heard despair in the woman's voice.
And then Beans hugged her. Hugged Iris, in a warm embrace of friendship, just hugged her so hard. For his parents, his sister, her friend Kiho, and, frankly, just for them. It was a hard, difficult world. Humans coped with tears and hugs.
And so Beans hugged.

Iris was confused at first. Then tried to be strong secondly. Then she couldn't hold it in and started to cry and hugged Beans back desperatly. She shook her head and felt utter dispair.

Beans sighed to feel that Iris understood. That she understood how much he sympathized with her - how sad he, too, was - on the inside.
"I'm so sorry about your friend," he whispered. "So, so damned sorry."

Iris nodded and tried to stop crying. But couldn't. It just hurt too much.

Beans continued to hold Iris, just hugging her. He would stay like this until she felt good enough to talk. Until then, he was content to grieve with a friend.

Iris choaked down on her tears and looked up. She smiled sadly, "Beans...wanna come in?" her voice was cracking a little.
