stopped yoweling but continued to whine, he gave mercy a little lick on the cheek and said thru his mind, thanks... he bowed and walked twords annie, head down, annie, look im sorry, its just...wolfs words got caught in his throat something is wrong...and i dont know if i can live with the knowledge of....of he broke into another yowel, this time even louder than phisically possible, again not caring if it hurt anyones ears.....nothing could hurt more than what he knew about his family....

Lady_Death Race Nishan annie2cute Lady_Death She looked over at the new man that entered the room "Hello." "Nn..-" Anaru started to respond when he suddenly heard a voice in his head. He jumped, practically spazzing out, as he screamed, "What in the name Artemus!!!" His hands flew up to the sides of his head closing over his ears. He practically fell back down onto the chair, sitting on his heals. Shaking from startlment, Anaru looks up at Lady death and asks, "What...was that?" He gulped, was this something that they could all do? And DID all do? Maybe someone would teach him to be more comfortable in this new world. "That would be Annie." She smiled alittle "Annie is rescently turned and is coming into her own now, she just resently became able to change into a wolf she hasn't learned how to talk in that form yet so she told you through mind to mind it is easyer for her." She smiles at Annie "How long have you been in that form my dear?"

paused, then looked at her with eyes that almost radiated fear and sadness..... Annie, its my family....i get word from the real wolves from time to time about my family.......and this time....well, itll be the last time they bring me word of their well being...... wolf took a breath, tring to keep a calm steady voice... annie, my mother has been in an accident...someone drove her and my little brother off the north bridge. both of tthem or their bodies havent even shown up yet.......but my father was taken captive...apparently being tortured into telling someone where i am. and he has no clue where im staying, so they just keep hurting them....and my sister..... wolf couldnt contain it anymore, he lost all composure and broke down my sister...she was murdered my my prevoius master....she was tricked into thinking i was with him, so apparentally she tried to see me...then......he looked again at annie..then to mercy and yoweled again GOD WHAT AM I GONNA DO?! this is all my fault!!!! im responible for all of this!... he yoweled again, as if his misfortunate family could hear it from their mis happenings..

Anaru shivered a little, trying still to calm his senses. Just turned? Then she's must know how he feels. He to was only recently turned.... relatively speaking. He looks at Annie and manages a smile. Be nice! his mind snaps at him. He watched as she walked off toward one of the other wolves in here. then he looked back at lady death. "Is it... common? Mind speaking? And Shape-changing? There seem to be many wolves here." He thought for a minute, then spoke again. "Sorry, I'm being rude still, I am Anaru. I too, was only recently... well, relatively recently turned. I'm afraid I don't really know much about this place- the 'do's' and 'don'ts'."

"Its okay, you'll learn staying here. It seems as the years have gone on it has become more common for vampires to have it so I guess yes it is a common thing now. Almost every vampire here can change forms." She sighed from her place and looked up at him. Her eyes cold and grey, her silver hair still pulled back showing the delicute facial structure. She sat in a larger chair anouther small girl sat on the arm of the chair with her. She seemed tiny for how large the chair was. Her black gown seemed to be in the wrong century for the times but most of the mansion was. "If you need help I'm sure anyone of the older vampires here can help you."

wolf looked defeated he lowered his head and mournfully whined annie...theyve probably killed him by now...... he followed her to the newcomer glumly speaking to him thru his mind he looked at him thru silver eyes so...youre Anaru....pleased to meet you..... wolf bowed in common respect Im Wolf Dodd....call me Wolf...... he sat looking up at him, still mourning...he was very irritable, so when anaru didnt respond at first he jumped up and barked as loud as he could right in front of him......wolf barked again then groweled....VERY irritable...

Anaru nodded a thanks to Lady death for her kindness. He knew that it wasn't his vampire-father's fault for leaving him. He had been dead, the Vampire must not have been the one to find out-either that or they never found his body, he wasn't exactly in plain sight. As Wolf spoke he looked at him. He didn't really know what to say to him. Wolf started barking and growling at him, but all Anaru could do was smile faintly. He stood as Annie tried to nudge Wolf away. "That's okay, Annie." Race said, stepping up in front of Wolf. He knelt down and pet Wolf's head softly. "Thanks Wolf. Glad to know you. I too am all alone, most of that's my fault. So I kind of know how you feel. It would be great to be able to have you as my first new friend."

*Laying her hand lightly on Wolfs back she giggled.* "Everyone seems so irratible lately...." *she laughed again then kissed Wolfs ear.* "Calm down alittle." *Standing up Mercy walked over to the book shelf and started sorting through books.*

looks up at Anaru...and stops barking heh...sry...but im glad to have a freind of you!wolf turned to mercy and licked her cheek. looking at annie, he curtseied playfully, yes, of course mother... then licked one of her ears. The knowledge of havong a new friend always excited wolf and not caring how crazy he looked, wolf started happily jumping around Anaru and yapping like a puppy...hes seemed to forget all about his trajety and got lost in the joy of having a new friend. wolf jumped up on two legs and rested his two front paws on Anarus chest....panting happily, tail wagging maddly

*Mercy started giggleing at Wolf and smiled knowing he wasn't so sad anymore. Getting into her playful mood quickly she rushed over and tackled Wolf playfully. Teasingly she got up and blew in his face then traced her finger across his ears.*

Startled by Mercy's sudden tackling of Wolf, Anaru jumped back a bit, stumbled and fell over. He broke into laughter at his own foolish behaviors. He had to be looking like the child of the fool god Epimethius, who through his own lack of judgment left no gift for man... Who cares? Anaru suddenly thought. Just as with the Egyptians, these people probably had no belief in his gods. They may not even know of them. Let alone how it all came to be. Perhaps it would be good for him to let go of what little belief he had in them too. God he hoped they didn't torture him for thinking that....
