It's easier to read and keep track of rolls when we put defending and evasion in one post then go on the offensive in the another. Once Nadeshiko make's her offensive post everyone will get a reply. If she's not around soon we'll continue.

Retreat and you'll age. this is a test of the tektek toolbar post format, this is only a test. If there were an actual emergency, you probably wouldn't be reading this. Hesitate and you'll die.

Semblance I already made a post, and all I got was a pm saying to put my attack rolls in a second post to make it easier to read. That tells me nothing, and frankly defeats the purpose of being able to roll 2 die. I probably could have been clearer with what I was doing with the rolls, which I edited in my last post, but Nadeshiko, Akiko, and Sukotto's posts all got replies. There's supposed to be a frog after me but it hasn't made an action after the initial intimidate roll. Correction, your post defeated the purpose of rolling two dice.
You posted your evasive roll and attack roll in the same post, which consumed both of your dice. What you could have done was post your evasion roll in one post, and then you could have rolled two dice for attacking the frogs in a separate attacking post. Look at what Sukotto did and you should see what I mean. He posted his evasion rolls in one post, and then posted his "attacking" post, in which he did two things that required rolls. They weren't both attacks, but they very well could have been.
The reason that the frog that was after Xyn hasn't done anything after its initial attacking roll is because of two reasons. First, we are waiting for Nadeshiko to post her attacking turn, and then the frogs get another attacking turn. Second, I realize that the frog that Xyn is targeting hasn't made an evasion post, but I was talking to the crew about a new rule we're going to add in to make things flow more smoothly in battles, and I'll make a new post below to describe that. I'll also explain something that you can do while waiting for Nadeshiko, if you like.
If you (or anyone else for that matter) have any questions or further concerns on this, PM me, it's what I'm here for.

New rule regarding damage generation:
We are going to start requiring characters to generate damage immediately after they post their attacking turn. This damage will be called "potential damage", since it is actually posted before the defending character's evasion post, and it isn't guaranteed to happen. This will be likely be added to the game system rules and officially announced within a week or so.
The first reason for this new requirement is that it will allow the defender to post accordingly. For instance, if they see that they are going to take a huge amount of damage from an attack, they will be able to write that their character feels as though the end is near, or whatever. In addition, if they see that the amount of damage will be small, they will be able to post that they don't really even care if they get hit or not.
The second and more important reason is that it will allow the battles to move more smoothly. I will demonstrate it with a scenario:
If ninja Anzu attacks ninja Jin, she will make her attacking rolls and then generate the damage. This damage happens to be so large, that if it hits Jin, his character will die. Jin makes an evasion post and fails. Since he knows what the damage is already, he can make an additional "death post" if he wishes. If Jin hadn't known what the damage was, he would have had to wait for Anzu to generate the damage after his evasion roll, which would have temporarily stalled the roleplay (the less time spent waiting, the better).
Someday soon, I will add a complete battle guide to the game system with an example battle that covers all sorts of things, ranging from ninjutsu to genjutsu, teamwork, pets, traps, charisma skills, the works. I'll even include an FAQ section. Right now, I'm just keeping an eye out for holes in the old system so that I can fix them up when I make that battle section for the game system.
@Semby: You can generate the "potential damage" for your shuriken attack against the frog while waiting for Nadeshiko to post. The frog will then make its evasion post.

Maia Hart Looks too sunny for such a grim message. razz you have a point. If you (or anyone else for that matter) have any questions or further concerns on this, PM me, it's what I'm here for. Retreat and you'll age.I was going by the way Xyn would react. If some puss-spewing creature is trying to intimidate him and threatening the people around him, his instinct is to attack. As well, making a single attack to gauge the opponent's ability is more his style. I also couldn't think of a second action Xyn would use. He's not gonna counter-intimidate a mindless animal, not gonna throw 2 shuriken (I never did pick up Xyn's extra weapons from becoming a genin). I was also thinking of using bunshin to act as a diversion for the girls, although akiko ran off so in that case I waited for Nadeshiko's next post.
And rules shouldn't be potentially implemented in the middle of an event if it affects the flow even if the purpose is to improve the flow.
But yeah, I was waiting for nadeshiko as well, it was just posting because everyone else had a reply and I wasn't sure if someone was expecting me to do something else. Hesitate and you'll die.

In the future, separate your defensive and attacking rolls into two posts, whether or not you choose to use two dice for your attack. In the past, people have not followed this standard and it has led to confusion. I understand your explanation, but I'm always going to nag everyone about this whenever I see it so that it's easier for new members to understand what's going on.
And of course rules should potentially be implemented during an event, if there is a hole in the system. For the past few months, people have either been generating their damage right after their attack roll, or right after the defending player's evasion roll. Since people were doing two different things, that also caused confusion (it happened in Sukotto and Aya's sparring match and led to one very cranky Lu-chan). We're not going to suddenly change stats around so that your character wins or loses something, we're just going to make things a bit more easier to understand for everyone ^^

I use Monster Reborn. It's alive again! How has everyone's week been. Has it been glorious? Has it been horrible. It couldn't be so horrible. This week on South Park, we saw the return of Paris Hilton, Kanye West, Tom Cruise, Buddha and Barbra Striezand.

Well I'm ready to be done with assignments..... It's annoying always having something to have to work on. Busy week for me, but nothing terrible, managed to get a lot done. I think that I've given up on Call of Duty for now, too much crap in that game.....
How was your week, Katz? Did you do well on your tests?

This week on South Park, we saw the return of Paris Hilton, Kanye West, Tom Cruise, Buddha and Barbra Striezand. You just activated my trap card! By bringing a creature back from your graveyard, you lose life points equal to that monster's attack points! I like sniping. But in Metal gear online it gets kinda lame because people try to outsnipe me with assault rifles and handguns. The sad part is that it works sometimes.
