About the time Seph stepped through the tree line and into the clearing, his heart had stopped beating so fast. He took a final deep breath and made his way up towards the rear of the dojo. The kitchen lights were on and, strangely enough, light shown through the singular window of his dojo.
He slipped into the main room through the back door and scanned. He picked out Iri and Nyl in the kitchen, but his attention was locked on the Ho dojo.

Nyl blinked, freezing in mid-action.
"Tutsumi, huh?" She smiled dryly. "You're lucky you set your parameters well, then." She shook her head slightly, returning to the tea. "Why is he challenging the dojo, if I may ask?"

"After fighting him, I feel that I'm very luck to have nothing but a few bruises and gash. As for why he chose to challenge everyone, I have no idea. Didn't think to ask."
Iri holds up the pan, turns off the burner, and dumps the food into a waiting bowl. She carries the bowl and some eating utensils to the table.

Seph stood in front of the book shelf, looking it over. He reached out, then froze. He lowered his hand and loosely examined the book shelf again. He took a step back and took a deep breath, arms crossed, hand on his chin.

~Something catch your interest?~ Nyl couldn't stop herself from using that harsh tone with Seph, even in thoughts. She couldn't be sure who was receiving the message.

Seph winced, but he refused to acknowledge her harshness. He would be the same way in her shoes. ~Hey there, Nyl. It's actually my dojo.. I can't remember how to get in.~ He took another step back, then turned and made his way into the kitchen. "I can't remember which book to pull." He said, smiling softly.
His eyes were currently blue.

Nyl sighed.
"I can. You'll understand I'm afraid to let you in there, though." She turned around, holding out a mug full of tea. Instead of having ice in the tea, the entire inside of the mug was coated with a thin frost.
"Iced tea, the ninja way. You want some?"

"I'm scared to let myself in there. But the light's on, so I figured someone was waiting." He shrugged, then looked at the mug before taking it. "Love some!" He took the mug by the handle, careful not to let his fingers come into contact with the frosted cup. He smiled, then peeked back at the book shelf. "Can't remember for the life of me.."

"The light's on? In the fire dojo? Really, how novel." Nyl smirked. "But turn around, and I'll get the door open."

Seph narrowed his eyes at her, then sighed and took a few steps further into the kitchen, turning his back and facing the window. "Want me to close my eyes, too?" He returned her smirk playfully.

"You want to play this game with me? I'll win," she shot back. She studied the books carefully, setting her hand on several different ones before choosing the correct one and giving it a tug so the dojo would open.

His face straightened as the familiar sound of the dojo door opening. He moved to the door and poked his head out into the main room. "Is the coast clear?" He smiled at her once more.

"I think so. Except for whoever or whatever turned the light on, I suppose." She bowed playfully, extending her hands toward the open doorway.
"You first."
