Drawing a kunai from his holster and slinging it from his left hand toward the shoulder of the arm that held the weapon. He would hope that it would throw her off well enough to cause her weapon to slacken and fall flat.

The kunai strikes Iri's right shoulder and forces it back. The resulting pain shoots through the arm supporting her naginata and she loses her grip. While the naginata falls to the ground, momentum carries Iri forward and closes the distance between herself and Tutsumi. Iri beats her wings once to put more force behind the collision and she turns her uninjured left shoulder to meet with Tutsumi's upper torso.

Pulling back slightly and flipping back onto his hands, Tutsumi spun his body around like a top and stuck his legs out like a helicopter. Hopefully she wouldn't have guessed this and would either back down or get hit...or block. His kicks were aimed to various areas between her stomach and her jaw.

Iri's left arm and shoulder come down to block the first blow, but trying to move her right arm to block the second only results in another wave of pain from her shoulder. A kick to her diaphragm knocks the wind out of Iri's lungs and sends her stumbling back by several feet. She stumbles over her fallen naginata and falls to one knee, coughing and gasping in her attempts to breathe. One tessen is extracted from her pocket and flicked open. She brings it forward and holds it in a defensive position should Tutsumi decided to attack. As she feels her lungs beginning to work properly again, Iri considers her options.
What options!? If this guy had any deadly intentions, I would have made a tactical retreat the moment he forced those pillars out of the ground. As green as I am, there's no point in going any further. Forging ahead would just be an act of futility.
Iri replaces her tessen and holds up her good arm in a gesture of defeat. "Though I detest doing so, my better judgement is telling me to give up. I surrender!"

Nodding slightly as he rose back up and stood onto his feet, Tutsumi walked over to her and hugged her, plain and simple. He then moved back and bowed before whispering something to her.
"Nice wings...I like my own a bit more though..."

Iri looks up at Tutsumi and blinks in a mixture of surprise and confusion. He hugged me? Of all the responses, that was one of the last that I would have expected.
A twinge of pain distracts Iri from her thoughts. She looks at the kunai in her shoulder for the first time, noting the blood still seeping from the wound. Iri grabs the hilt and carefully tugs it free of the flesh entrapping it. Once the knife falls to the ground, she brings her palm to the wound and applies pressure to stop the blood flow. Then she gets to her feet and mimicks Tutsumi's bow, vaguely recalling that the gesture is one of respect.
Iri straightens her posture and mutters, "Was it just me, or did you just imply that you have wings? Just curious, because I'm ashamed of myself if I didn't notice something like that before." She casts a glance over Tutsumi's shoulder, almost expecting to catch a glimpse of feathers.

Smiling slightly, Tutsumi nodded and backed away from her slowly. Slowly, two points were visible from the back of his shirt. A few seconds later two stems tore out of his shirt, one black and one white, before rapidly growing to full size. Each were full length, his right one being the white one and his left being the black.
"Tada."
His face was contorted in pain though as blood pourd off of both wings.

(( Hi, Sage! ))
The first expression to cross Iri's face is one of awe. But her fascination becomes alarm as she notices blood and Tutsumi's obvious discomfort. Her conscience immediately begins to nag at her. Violet eyes narrow in concern and Iri takes a step closer to him, anxious to do something.
"That's one hell of a trick, but are you alright?"

Snickering slightly, Tutsumi nodded and flopped down on his a** as his legs almost gave way. He shook his head a few times and sighed before taking a few deep breaths.
"Give me a few hours and I'll be fine..."
He reached down to his pants, took out a sharp knife, and started to 'saw' away at the stems of his wings.

A shudder runs through Iri's slender form when Tutsumi brings the knife to his wings. She grimaces and nervously shifts her weight. Though Iri generally isn't squeamish, the thought of cutting away a limb isn't something she handles very well.
Iri turns away to retrieve her naginata. She says over her shoulder as she walks, "You've gotta have nerves of steel to grow those things only to slice them off. That's a level of pain tolerance I'll never have. And if you don't mind me asking, how do you do that?"

"Grow them? Concentrate on your 'holy' properties."
With that, Tutsumi gently laid down on the grass and closed his eyes, letting his wounds in his back heal up. It should take about an hour or two to make sure he wouldn't die...

Iri crouches to snatch up her naginata, talking as she does. "Holy properties? Eh, I won't ask. Never been religious myself."
She looks down at her shoulder wound. The blood has stopped flowing. Everything else feels just fine, even if she does desperately want a bath. Iri glances at Tutsumi. Then she shrugs and walks over to sit a respectful distance from him. She balances her weapon in her lap and stares off into the distance, her thoughts wandering at will. Though she doesn't know if it matters to him, Iri hates to leave someone unaccompanied.
