Seto smiled and, taking a hold of Ayira's wrist in his good hand, pulled her along out of the library.

Ayira smiled and took his good hand in her own so they were holding hands. She then followed him out of the library.

Two months had passed. Bakura had not returned so the news had been broken to his children that both of their parents were 'gone'. Atem and Kabi had gotten married, and while she was showing the first few signs of pregnancy, not much had happened that way. There had been a few occurrences when she confronted Seto privately, but he never mentioned these to Ayira. Seto was currently in the palace's temple, which worshiped the god Ra.

Seto had changed out of his normal blue robes into plain white ones for his prayer. He had knelt in front of a shrine depicting the falcon-headed god. He had a small offering of food and didn't look up from it.

Seto looked at Ayira from the corner of his eye and bowed his head deeper. After a while, he got up to his feet. His knees ached from staying in that position for a while. he extended one hand to Ayira. His other was still bound, not entirely healed yet. "Everything going all right?"

"I have no work to do today." Seto said, with a faint frown. He began to head out of the temple. He didn't like it when he was being overworked by the pharaoh, but he hated it when nothing was assigned to him.
