Just tired. This is one of those days that you wished to call in sick and stay home because every single (beeping) customers (I even actually beep beeping sounds to my co-workers. I never curse those potty mouth words anyway except for sh*t) are a little nutty. Anyway, here's an example:
Customer told my backup cashier that he wanted a $2 Lottery Ticket. She punched in the ticket and when she returned back, he gave her the lottery slip. So she slid and charged him $4 in total. He came back 5 minutes later and told me to refund the quick pick ticket. He didn't want the quick pick ticket. He wanted the ticket which he chose the numbers himself on that slip. The backup cashier told him that he said he wanted both tickets. Well, let's just say that the argument lasted for 2 whole minutes. Anyway, I called in the supervisor, void the ticket (if I were him, he should have kept the ticket... you never know it's a winner) and refunded his money.

customer service is always difficult and not for everyone. I sometimes get a difficult client, but very rarely. sweatdrop

Here's a classic one which happened yesterday:
Customer: Do you sell transit tickets?
Me: This store location does not carry these tickets anymore. The grocery store at the end of the mall carries them as well as the information booth in the middle of the mall has them too.
Customer: When are you getting more in?
Me: We don't carry them anymore. The information booth in the middle of the mall and the grocery store have them.
Customer: Do you know when you getting them?
Me: No more. Bye-bye. Gone.
Customer: You don't sell the tickets anymore? Do you know which stores in this mall sell them?
Me: Lottery tickets (points to the direction) middle of the mall. Food store at the end of the mall.
Customer: Okay.
Me: Have a nice day! biggrin (grr....)
Anyway, I have to go. Thunderstorm is heading this way. Going to shut down the system. Chat with you later. Take care. biggrin
