Aw, this co-op is great! Reminds me of the olden days when my brother and I would play Sonic 2 together at my aunt's. Great times... Seems to me that it would be a good way for a casual gamer to get into the swing of things in Brawl.
This team thing also adds a whole new perspective onto things. Instead of just having lives, you have a number of characters to use. It'll definitely shake things up strategy-wise: you might not be able to just master one character. >w<
EDIT: Aaaand I just realized that Fish beat me to it on the Sonic 2 ref. Dangit. XD

Locke Trufeld I can read Japanese! Two player Co-Op function in the Adventure Mode!
Edit: More into details. The camera is focused on 1 player, and if the 2nd player falls out of the screen from the camera scrolling, you automatically do a space jump right towards the 1st player. Just like in Kirby SuperStar where your assist character warps towards you when they get too far.
Second player can only die if he gets knocked out of the screen from an enemy attack. SSBB's adventure mode has a map, and you can form teams with the characters you've recruited. Also, the Adventure Mode has stocked lives, so you can't just continue endlessly.
You can also set the difficulty from Easy to Uber Hard. The harder the difficulty, the greater the rewards. Oh, and apparently there's some power ups, but that's to be released in a future update.. Thanks for translating. Too bad we were late to the English party.  I like how our forum is 99%. Whats the other 1% I wonder..

On a more awesome note, a Green Hill adventure stage would rock harder than anything that has ever rocked before.

On a more awesome note, a Green Hill adventure stage would rock harder than anything that has ever rocked before. Green Hill Zone with Fox backing you up... thats freaking unstopable

Itakio @Herr Shroeder - With the subtracion of some, there will be even more addition. It's all balanced really. We may have even better characters than before, which is bound to happen if hey are selecting the less used characters. But what if one of your favourite characters is 'less-used' ?

Meh, no online co-op. All my friends that live close enough to visit suck at smash bros or I only see them at school... so it looks like I'm staying solo.
