*kept her head down but her eyes moved at every little detail performed, listening as intently as ever to both Keaira and the ceremony taking place, repressing a gasp of shock and worry at Cat's sacrifice, knowing that she could not interfere and that Cat would be alright, keeping her transformed senses as sharp as she dared*
(Wow, this is going to be so awesome.....)

*Keaira nodded and whispered* Five....five times Esben and Lily will walk the circle, five symbols must be painted on each pillar. Earth, air, fire, water, and spirit. Then the old writings on the walls will be erased, and the temple will be considered ready for use, if Gautam accepts Lily's offering. You can see it is not to be taken lightly. It is also a test, is Lily strong enough to do it? If she can't her blood is too weak, and will not protect the temple, and must be rejected. Some have died trying such a task. But it cannot be less then blood sealing the temple.* Keaira turned back to the ceremony for a few minutes*

*unable to resist, her head jerks up to look at Keaira* You mean..... We may lose Cat? Forever?........... *looks over solemnly at Cat, circling the pillars, a worried glazed crossing over her face* It's funny.... We haven't been together for very long, yet they both seem so dear to me..... *nods at Myth also*

myth flinched a little when esben put the dagger in cat, and tried to contain a low growl as the others cut her up as well. he knew it had to be done but it still bothered him. "cat's strong enough, and even if she wasn't i wouldn't let her die..." he reassured alida. being a runekin he knew of the ways of binding, but he had never considered blood as the medium. to him such a task was only that of crazed necromancers but he knew cat knew what she was doing...
((i dunno, the avvir are pretty old... they did lay the plans for earth, and all it's elements...))

Keaira shook her head. " If her blood was weak, you'd have no time to save her. But have faith.... Now we see if Gautam accepts Lily's offering...." Cat had made the circle four times, and closed in on finishing her fifth. As she stepped into place for the last time, she dropped onto her knees and bowed her head. The symbols and her circle began to glow a bright white. It encircled the group and temple, making it impossible to see. Keaira quietly instructed Myth and Alida to bow their heads for a few moments, as Gautam was now present. What couldn't be seen was the raccoon headed god striding towards Cat, no longer the cheerful little monk, but a powerful high being, splendid in robes of deep green with golden trim. Gautam took one look at Lily and picked her up, cradling her with one arm as he healed her wounds and restored her body to it's original condition. He smiled and set her on her feet, and whispered something her her ears alone. In a ringing voice he called out * I , Gautam, accept the offering of the high priestess, and am overjoyed my temple carries the full protection of such a being. Arise dearly assembled, and know you carry my gratitude and my blessing. Go now and celebrate this joyous occasion. My temple is assured it's proper place!" He faded from view, and the bright light died down, leaving a golden shimmer in the air*

((heh..not sure if i'm up for this tonight...)) myth sat down with a full plate and large goblet of his blue liquid. "whoever eats the most wins? ugh, i'll be regretting this in the morning.." he scarfed down the plate and came back with three more.
