Crawleymang~ Everything is wrong with KOF. Congratulations on the 9th installment of the same sprites.. from every KOF before you. SFIII 3s is a superior game in every way. They kept their thick spriting style.. but improved upon it and gave it a fresh look. KOF is inferior to even SFAlpha. Not only that.. but 2d fighters are DEAD.
..And KoF ELEVEN? Damn I'm out of the loop. Haven't touched one since Capcom versus SNK and it's mini-series.

Hay SNK.. great job putting to use that atomiswave board!
making flashy 2d/3d backgrounds that the player can't do s**t with!
GREAT USE OF YOUR MONEY THERE.
And how about that character lineup for 11! Turn Eiji Kisaragi into a joke character.
Leave out Mai, Joe, and other beloved favorites!
But keep Iori Yagami. Apparently you realized that he hasn't done s**t in about 10 years... so in KOF 11 he gets his a** kicked so he can finally have a new angle.

Typhoon_Omi Don't get me wrong, I'd rather play SFIII, or perhaps even GGX: Reloaded - Nightmare Carnival, if I had a choice. But I don't give a sheet, KoF is still quite a goodplay, despite the rarely inovated spritage. So, hey - 2D fighters are only dead in the mind of the evil Finlandians. domokun

Just generally like the high-speed maneuverability aspect of the game, keeps you on edge almost constantly. ABA is fun to play now that I don't have to worry about fore and background as well. Street Fighter 3rd Strike is pretty fun. I like a lot of the game but air priority and wake up sort of ruin the fun for me. The guesswork kinda takes away from the experience. KoF is has always been solid. I agree that it needs a sprite update but they have been making improvements. In 11 pulling off massive comboage has been made much easier and the game is a bit faster-paced. The new characters are fun too, especially Oswald.

11's lineup and neglect of graphical content is ridiculous.
They contribute to the reduction of every other team's importance. Throwing all of their signature characters in the trash in exchange for people who will never have the reputation people like Terry, Andy, Mai, and Joe have.
the backgrounds.. while nice and flashy.. mean nothing.
SF3 is a superior game in every way. Capcom always makes better fighting games.
Even their throwaway games (CFE) are better!

Typhoon_Omi Ahr, the whole Guilty Gear series, I've enjoyed in general. But I'll have to say, Doctor BALDMAN ASIDE, one of my favorite characters for play would be Faust. Him and Chipp, probably. Far as non-broken characters go, anywho.

Instead of nerfing characters in an attempt to even them out they made everyone broken and guess what, it's one of the most even fighting games on the market. You can see just about every character represented in tournament play. I like Baiken myself, her Tatami Gaeshi is awesome. Then Faust, Ky, and Johnny are all tied for second. You should. The new one plays very well. I was surprised how different it was after hearing so little. It's a good change, though.

HMPH.
Compare CvS1 to SvC and I my point is easily proven.
SvC was only enjoyable to see what SNK can do graphic wise with Capcom characters.
Other than that.. no one can take that game seriously.
Now I understand why for like the longest time.. all capcom did was build on Street Fighter II ... solid game, solid gameplay, laughed in the face of SNK's games.
Art of Fighting 3/RBFF2/Garou are the 3 best SNK fighting games.

Not often anyway. cziri I'm using the fact that Ertai wants to train me to my advantage on those boards. Yeah right. Just say you want to learn to type long like him. People do a lot of things that don't make sense. You won't be the first or last. I mock people based on the content of their character. I've done that before when I lived in the chatterbox as my commanders didn't tell me this board existed. -- No, not really. I want training and all my other teachers are being lazy. Mingan is delaying it for hell, and I don't have any other teachers than Ertai right now. Me so tired . . . lawl working as a caddy can make you tired.
