Alexi Chuckles "Elder is a title. I know for a fact I am stronger then many elders I have met. But being an elder connotes responsibility, as well as limitations. I prefer to not be tied down to any place. Nor do I have interest in controlling people. Stronger then me? She may very well be. Strong enough to kill me? Only if I decided on a prolonged battle. But in the face of insurmountable odd, the best option is to retreat while causing as much damage as you can safely accomplish before leaving."

In a fight keeping the initiative is paramount in importance, if I do not win in the first seconds, then I will commit myself to attrition and wear the foe down. And when a risk is unnecessary, then why should one take it? I am too old to be thrilled by needless danger."

"You can never tell if you'll win or loose its unpridictable.You may be old but far from wise.Taking risks may be thrilling to some but there are many rewards after the taking the risks but sometimes there are terrible things that come from the risk but you can never tell.That is why its called a risk.By the way you take risks all the time with just estimating if you'll win or loose the battle."He woners if this vampire ever thoght of that or really thought about anything other than avoiding battles or guessing their out come.

"True, I can never tell if when I fight I may get unlucky and loose. But then again I usually can look at a situation and tell if the odds are good or not. In a fight the odds are very good that you would be dead. And I never said that I do not take risks. I take risks almost constantly. I do not take unnecessary risks, which, by definition, are unnecessary."
