She has no p***s!!!

Straight from Lady GaGa's Telephone video, after they took her to jail and strip searched her:

"I told you she didn't have a d**k."

That so called woman is a man and has absolutely no talent. I can't wait for her fad to just disappear, it's getting pretty annoying, even more so than normal. And she's he's not even attractive!

I love her. She has more talent then any of the other crap on the radio, not to mention her stuff that's not on the radio. And I adore her for her philanthropic work.
PostPosted: Fri Jun 04, 2010 9:09 pm

Bah, it's all s**t to me. There's nothing good on anymore so I don't listen to the radio. Lady Gaga has to be the worst crap by far that I've ever had to suffer through in my entire life. It's a pure disgrace to music everywhere.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you say so? Her voice? Her message? The music? Her theatricality? That God-awful episode of Glee?
PostPosted: Fri Jun 04, 2010 11:11 pm

Yeesssss. There is far worse than Gaga out there. FAR worse. While I can't stand her songs because (and only because) they're grossly overplayed and over-worshiped, I think she's talented and I appreciate what she's brought around. She's a far cry from a pure disgrace to music. I think she just gets a lot of s**t for not being Hollywood pretty, being unafraid to do whatever the hell she wants, for dressing insanely, and for doing it for herself versus to keep up with the image of "omg I'm such a crazy and wild girl". I think it's unfair to hate on her because everyone ELSE decided to make her a fad and overplay her music/style.

As far as worst crap to suffer by far, I'd rather listen to Gaga over Justin Beiber, Ke$ha, Timberlake, the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie for that matter... I could go on, but it's really all down to a matter of preference. On that note, if Lady Gaga simply just isn't your thing, that's totally understandable too, and I can respect that, but it's too harsh to downcast her talent just based on the fact that she may or may not be a man or is ugly to boot.

And that's all I'm going to say about that since while this is an OOC thread and OOC it is, it's not an argue-about-musical-taste thread, and Gaga herself has yet to make an appearance in our RP. =w=

I agree with Aru for the most part. I like SOME of Gaga's songs, and I like them A LOT. However, for the most part she annoys me. While a great performer (she's BRILLIANT live), she gets too much credit for doing things that bigger stars like Madonna and Christina Aguilera have done years before her. That, and all of her songs about sex and drinking are no good influence on young girls (and boys). If only this kind of media were restricted to, let's say, 16+ there'd be no problem - however, there are VERY young kids idolising her and other extremely sexualised female stars like the PCD, Ke$ha (let's face it, Ke$ha's songs have less musical worth than the bloody Chipmunks) and good old Britters ('good' no longer being the operative word - F.U.C.K Me, anyone? XD).

I honestly think female celebrities like Taylor Swift should get a greater amount of recognition as good role models. I mean, what are her songs all about? Love - innocent love - believing in yourself and making something of yourself without needing a boyfriend or a husband to complete you. "In your life you'll do things greater than dating the boy on the football team." If THAT'S not an inspirational message to teen girls under crisis, I don't know what is. I mean, compared to "LET'S HAVE SOME FUN THIS BEAT IS SICK I WANNA TAKE A RIDE ON YOUR DISCO STICK," it's basically... you know. If you want something a little less twee, there's always P!nk, who's AWESOME. She's strong, she's wild, she's outrageous just like Gaga and was on the scene YEARS before her. Yet she's never had the same insane following, has she? If that's a reflection on just how depraved, ******** Western youth culture has become... well, it doesn't bear thinking about.

I suppose the point I'd like to make on the whole, to say it explicitly, that today's youth drinking culture should be confronted, not exploited. Stars like Gaga aren't confronting anything, they aren't tackling any issues, they aren't changing anything with their songs - yes, even with Gaga's struggles over her bisexuality taken into account. She's not even portraying sexual diversity in a positive light, if the possibility of her being transgendered is causing the reaction in people it is. All she, and most new stars today (Diana Vickers here in the UK - never, ever seen such a self-indulgent music video EVER), are doing is indulging themselves. That's IT.

WHY have things gotten this bad? Like I said, it's exploitative. This is how music executives make their money - by taking advantage of trends, and in sex and drink they've found the ultimate mass-market. However, in lining their own pockets they're encouraging these destructive tendencies in modern youth, and who knows what nightmare path it will lead us down? People are switching off from other people, lacking support at home from a young age, becoming more and more self-centred and listening to these messages, these role models, accepting them without even thinking about what they're doing. Auuuughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. burning_eyes

Rosiedoodles would like to respond, but she's too tired. She would like to say that she read it, and is very happy that not everyone here hate GaGa. And would like to add that GaGa is currently celibate and is encouraging her fans to be celibate too.

Yet the song Poker Face is, she has confessed, about imagining having sex with women during intercourse with men...

She's no Saint Gagalupe. No matter what she does or promotes, if you do one thing and then say another you're not exactly enhancing your credibility. It's called hypocrisy, though I would actually hesitate to call her an outright hypocrit. I don't know her well enough for that.

I think it's unfair when people put the blame on Gaga. The way I see it, Gaga's just getting her songs out there, being herself, sharing her vision to the world; what people do with that is up to them. I'm not a big fan of hers, but you know... ultimately it's all up to the individual if he lets the music get to him or not.

That aside, I really like her songs and her music videos, however eccentric they may be. She has a lot of creative energy.

And I'm still wondering which part of that photo I posted before is Photoshop'd. o.o;

I hate Lady Gaga's songs because... SHE REPEATS THE SAME GODDAMN THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN. WHAT THE HELL?!?!!!

And Taylor Swift... She's, what, 20, and she has 2 albums (12 songs each), plus one single. And in each song, she talks about A DIFFERENT GUY.
That's 25 boyfriends in (starting from her teen years) 10 years!
That's more boyfriends than you'll ever have in a lifet- no, TWO lifetimes! Innocent love, surrrre.
And her fans are the craziest kind of people you'll ever meet.
Usually normal crazy music fans WOULD get angry at something like:
'Taylor Swift <******** you, whatever. I don't care.'

But Taylor Swift fans go kinda like:
'I don't like Taylor Swift'
'WHY??!!!!!!!!!! TELL ME WHY YOU DON'T LIKE TAYLOR SWIFT?!!!! I WON'T SHUT UP UNTIL YOU DO!!!!!!!'

I can't stand songs with generic themes like love, sex, drugs, money etc.
Overdone. It's now pretty much meaningless. It frustrates me now.

There are only a few songs out there now that don't follow those, like Make it Mine by Jason Mraz (something about reaching your goal or something), or I can ride a Bike with No Handlebars (okay, fine this is crap).

That's why I usually listen to Japanese songs. I'm better off not understanding.
