waffle person ------------------------ Rebecca sidestepped Luciano and tripped him over. Gustav walked forward and pinned Luciano to the ground by thrusting the lance into the soft spot between his shoulder and chest. He also slammed his katars into Luciano's ankles, rendering them useless. During that bit of time, Rebecca zapped Michelle with a very hard bolt of lightning and was ready to continue zapping her.Luciano got so angry at what was going on, so out of pure desperation he took out his flask of Holy Water and splashed some into the eyes of Rebecca, then once Michelle stopped being zapped she got up and began to choke the life out of her. " YOU b***h!!!!" she screamed as she strangled the blind Vampire. Luciano shouted, "Stab her in the heart!!!!" he fought his way out of the katars, but he was in a huge amount of pain.

Kydre yawned and sat up.
"Oh I feel wonderful!" she said with sleep still in her voice. She got up and saw Nightmare in the doorway. "What are you doing Nightmare?"
The Gargoyle turned his head towards her and said, 'Standing Guard.'
"Outside my door? I appreciate the gesture Nightmare but no one is going to come through my door and try to kidnap me or hurt me. The security here is too tight," said Kydre as she made her way from her bed to the bathroom.
'That's what Waffle thought too,' he said solemnly.
Kydre paused in the bathroom doorway and turned slowly to stare at the purple scaly creature in disbelief.
"Please don't tell me another member of the gang has gone missing or been kidnapped," she said exasperated.
'Miss Waffle was kidnapped last night by a group of Vampires while she was asleep.'
Kydre face palmed and groaned.
'Also I regret to inform you that I was asleep as well or I would have been able to warn everyone in time, so it is partially my fault. There fore, while you are in the house I plan to stick close to you so nothing like that happens again.'
Kydre gave him a sympathetic look.
"It's not your fault she was kidnapped. There's always something going on here and always someone being kidnapped. It's part of life among the Kuro's. Don't beat yourself up and get some rest. I'm awake now and I can fend off anyone who tries to attack me," she turn to go in the bathroom and paused again. "I should probably be ready to receive them when they return shouldn't I? They always come back from missions injured or near death."
Nightmare nodded.
"Right. . ."
Kydre disappeared into the bathroom with a sigh and shake of her head.

Rebecca clawed at Michelle while struggling to get out of the chokehold. Gustav saw Rebecca in her predicament, and grabbed Michelle by upper arm and threw her against the wall hard enough to knock her out. Gustav helped the matriarch up, who then warped off to safety. Gustav threw one of his katars at a spot in the ceiling, revealing a small passageway. He tensed up his legs and sprang up there, closing the gap in the ceiling as he crawled through it.

3rd/2nd floor passage

Colbur and Skotti made their way down part of the staircase until a very loud crashing noise scared Colbur and made him lose his balance. In an effort to not tumble down the stairs head first he started to run down them. He didn't expect a wall to be at the end of the corridor section, and rammed into it by mistake, completely busting it down. He shut his eyes and massaged his forehead in pain. What he didn't realize yet was that this was the same wall that Michelle was thrown at, and as he opened his eyes he saw her lying there unconscious. Seeing an angry Luciano across the width of the hall made his face turn pale.

Pen began to regain some composure enough to stand by herself and looked back at the elder Magi. Her head fell in defeat for it looked like she would just have to wait it out.
"Some tablet in a tin. One of the attendants came down and offered it to us. A few minutes ago I was a vampire and now I'm even more of a freak show." She sighed but leaned on Waffle for some support before standing on her own.
"I was hoping an elder magi could get back to my normal self quicker for its wearing off rather weird."

Koteki raised an eyebrow, and he began to talk as the group walked along to get to the ground floor.
"Hm....I'm not a cleric. If we happen to run into Colbur, you can be sure that he can help. I don't think those tablets were even ready, although I can't ever be sure until I test them on myself...which I can't do until several months from now. Who else took those tablets?"

The process was wearing off a little not quickly but at least both canines were at the same length. She thought all who came.
"Lets see that would be myself, Sabe, two girl attendants, Luc, Michelle and the Boss of course. Most of us got the vampire." Pen said as if they were dealing cards. "I sure hope I'm back to normal before we meet another group of unfriendlies."

As Luciano was being helped by Skotti, Colbur was putting his healing abilities to use on Michelle.
"Mhm... I have a feeling they were already found though. I don't know why. On a side note, was anyone else taken as well?"

Koteki frowned as they found the staircase and climbed up it.
"Okay. That's two things I should fix when I have the time..." he said to no one in particular.
The group later emerged from the staircase and to the ground floor.

Rosie's search turned up better than Lucy's so far, as she found where Diane was and freed her from her cell. Now, the three attendants were looking for the remaining two captives. Surprisingly, there were no vampires on the first floor.

The remaining two attendants did not need rescuing, but instead were trying to figure out how to cut the rope that tied them together.

Outside Shed / Hidden Room
--------------------------------
In a shed outside of the manor, a familiar robot was called to report to the room below for an 'update'. Kassa walked down the steep staircase into an underground room, where Waffle Aramine was finished with putting code onto a microchip. Waffle smiled as Kassa obediently sat down and waited as Waffle removed a section of the protective cranial plate. Waffle began to install the microchip into Kassa's system, and told her to sit still and not whine about it. As Waffle implanted the chip and put the cranial plate back in place, the chip began to load the new commands. Kassa started to feel strange, then blacked out as the virus began to corrupt critical processes. By the end of this malicious update, Kassa seemed to have transformed from a harmless bot to a sinister weapon. No longer did she have the ideas of right and wrong, knowledge of who were her friends and who were not, nor even her usual quirky bubbly personality. All of those had been erased and before she woke up, Waffle warped her elsewhere with the only programmed command was to destroy.

The idea of meeting of some other group reminded her that they found who they came for. Something about being a halfing must be warping my memory.
Pen raised her hand to her hidden ear peice and called out to Skotti. "Hey Boss guess who found me?"

Luciano growled and rubbed his shoulder, which was in a tremendous amount of pain. Michelle got up and she was extremely pissed off at the Vampires. Luciano patted her on the cheek and then he said to the group, "Alright, so what do we do now?"

Charlie and Totoro successfully removed the rope that tied them back-to-back, and began wandering around the halls until they met up with the girls. They all started to talk about what to do next.

Ground Floor

As Pen was trying to contact Skotti, the elven Waffle noticed a group of normal vampires approaching. They saw the group of elves and charged. Waffle tugged at one of her father's sleeves, and he shifted his eyes to the attackers. Koteki lazily shot a few arcane bolts at the vamps, and they crumbled to dust. Waffle sat there confused, and her dad simply gave her a half-smile.

Sabe woke up and looked around the room he was in. It was barren with little light, and the walls and floors were solid concrete and steel. He noticed that someone was in the corner, curled up like a ball. Sabe slowly walked to the other person and realized it was the robot he met whilst searching for Pen about a week before.

The Aramine family was in another undisclosed location, and whispers of plans and strategy could be faintly heard from outside. Surely they were planning something naturally devious, but what exactly it was could be left to the mind.

"Well if that idea was Waffle and her dad then your right." Pen chuckled, she was feeling better as the tablet wore off. Now both of her ears were tall again and she felt less reluctant to light.
