Dystopian Lover sikh-91 I'm wondering why it's so hard just to apply for something. Like it took me half an hour just to find out the code for the Uni course I want to do. D:< And then, when I go asking my sister a question (because she's done this before), she talks slowly as if I'm stupid. I've been at this application for nearly an hour and I'm still doing it D: I need to take a break xD Applying for things is a pain in the butt. It gets easier the more you do it, though. I remember my first university application took forever and when I applied to go back last week, the application took like 15 minutes. Same university. xD And... screw you Obama! I have never owed anything on federal or state taxes before; I know that I owe $673 between federal and state because you ******** with something! I usually get back at least $400 bucks every year. I worked the same job for the entire year of 2009 that I did for the entire year of 2008, and I haven't gotten a raise so I essentially made the exact same amount in 2009 that I made in 2008, and there's a $1000+ tax difference between the years! What the ******** did you do?! crying
...I'm lucky I have such wonderful parents that they offered to pay all of my taxes for me since they are still claiming me as a dependent (and they're getting $5000 back this year, so they can afford it xP ); otherwise the money in my bank account would be running a lot lower after April 15th than I'm comfortable with. I already applied for the Universities October time xP It's now things like applying for the student loans and stuff like that. I need to make a bank account now, and no one is bothering to go with me because apparently you need someone to go with you. My Mum and sister were like.. I DUN WANNA ¬_¬ So my Dad offered to go with me next week ^^,
@thetaxthing - omg D: Well, you are lucky they've offered to pay it for you xD Why tax so much D:

@thetaxthing - omg D: Well, you are lucky they've offered to pay it for you xD Why tax so much D: Oh, that's lame on your mom and sister's part. I'm so glad I never had to apply for loans. My education's been pretty cheap so far - instate tuition for my university is about $1200-$1500 a semester, plus the cost of books. I've never had to pay more than $4000 total a year, I think, so it's bearable. Not like some places.
My parents figure they owe me anyway since they deducted my health insurance on their taxes, which was like $1200 bucks or so. I'd say they do owe me if I got them that much of a break! XD But they are wonderful people and I love them. <3

Like at end of terms and stuff, we'd get £1000+ for free, and if the university you go to have connections with the school you come from, you get random free money xD Like, I'm going to be getting £500 just for coming from the school I come from.
That is really sweet of them to do that though. All this money talk is scary D: My family are wonderful people too, it's just... the odd times they make you wanna... fjwipfjweje xD

All this money talk is scary D: My family are wonderful people too, it's just... the odd times they make you wanna... fjwipfjweje xD Wow, that is lucky. I didn't get anything from coming from the school I came from. T.T I think I do get some free money for being a resident of the state and going to college in the state. I know I got it last year, but who knows? I hope so. ^.^
And it IS scary! It's intimidating thinking about going out there and having to completely support yourself and possibly kids in the future and whatnot. I'm still a little dependent on my parents even though I don't live with them, and haven't for several years. I couldn't cover my health and car insurance even though I work full time; I'd have to forego both of those. Or move in somewhere really cheap and have three roommates. It's disturbing. D:

I was with a bunch of girls that I hang out with yesterday who were pmsing or on their period. The estrogen transferred to me and look what I wound up with. x_x I believe that cycles can be synced now.

D: I know it's like that for some places D: If I was to move out to another Uni, I'd get more support money-wise from the government, but I'd rather stay local and stay at home. (No I aint gunna be the 50 year old that stays at their parents home xD) I just think it's more appropiate and helpful at this time, especially with the recession. And going home after a day of Uni and sitting in your own comfy room studying. xD
Eugh, scary thoughts are scary D: I guess that's what parents are there for ^^, Well, other than resoruces xD <33
