Ah, yes, I think you've mentioned that concept before. It is indeed very interesting.
Finally plugged in my Wii U for the first time. I've owned it for at least 6 months and haven't even touched it (and not for lack of games).

*shrugs* I had nothing, and it was on my mind. As is evident by the post in the rider's concept thread.
I really hadn't thought about the Wii U. Since my wii is a paperweight . . . the U version wasn't somethign on my radar. How is it?

Sorry, I wasn't trying to say anything by it. smile I'm not feeling particularly inspired either, as far as conversation topics go.
Very nice, but I am a fan of the classic Sega & Nintendo style of games, so take what I say with a grain of salt. Ninty has started selling Wii games for download on it, so I picked up the entire Metroid Prime trilogy for $20. Also, Smash Bros 4 & Bayonetta 2 are excellent games.

Honestly, I have hardly played games in recent months. I barely got to play because of school for years, and my experiences in college continue to negatively effect my life. I no longer take joy in reading, and can't seem to find time for the things I once lived for. The black hole that was studying and working on assignments absorbed so much of my life that when it was ended . . . I had no idea what to do with myself. Starting new habits is difficult, and I simply find a lack of motivation.
Truth be told, I haven't played Nintendo with any regularity in years upon years. My only real return for the house of Mario is my old DS that i pull out for family functions and holiday get-togethers.

You're speaking my language there. I haven't felt the urge to play video games with any regularity for a few years now. Due to the abundance of reading in college, I stopped reading for fun and have yet to return to it. I also find myself with a lack of time. Call it burnout or disillusionment, I have no idea how long it lasts. College was a pretty soul-crushing experience that left me worse for the wear (aside from educationally).
I've taken a real liking to the Zelda series, and Nintendo systems get most of the JRPGs I'm interested in.

Yeah, I am the same way. I fully blame college for making me read things that crushed my desire to read. Even things I find interesting and joyous . . . I blame college. Added to the fact that I am now $140,000 in debt and can't use the degree for anything, college left a bad taste in my life.
The best I can claim is that I have repurchased a version of FF X to play since it was cheap, and something I remember enjoying. Playthrough has begun, updates will be along sooner or later.

Yes, college debt is a huge problem for the whole country, even. Thankfully I'm debt free, but most of my salary still disappears on me.
I really need to play FF9 & 10 at some point. I've heard great things about both, and I love FFs 4-6.

I took out college loans because it was the only way I was ever going to afford college. It was done to try and make the lives of me and my family better. Instead, it did nothing. We still don't even make the poverty line with two near-full-time working adults.
I tried 9, but never got far into it. I mean, I've only ever played about 30 minutes. As for FF 10, the voice acting is mildly sub-par, but the game itself is fun. Right now, I am struggling a little with the fetch quest that is the Al Behd primers. In the game, there is a group of people (Al Behd) that are ostracized. They speak english after a fashion, with the letters randomized. As you go through the world, you can collect books that each reveal one letter. They are primers. It is not required in any way, but I like to have the words translated.

I wasn't making a judgement or anything, Magni. They are usually a necessary evil to try to improve one's chances, just as in your case. I'm honestly not picky with voice acting (probably comes from years of watching poor anime dubs as a child). I don't even... xd

Now, now Contenmo . . . Give me a call, and I will gladly help entrap your prey. *malicious smile*

heheheh, nothing like accuracy, eh, Archer?

No offense was taken, my friend. Simply frustration at the entire debacle that is this situation. As for acting, blame my upbringing in the theater. I can't stand bad acting, even in voice. It makes me physically cringe. Perhaps that is why I like subbed more than dubbed? sweatdrop
How in the nine hells did you get that result?! eek

-smiles and winks- You know. If the four of us get together, I'm sure that would be an interesting night.
And I'm sure Yoder answered most of being in the shadows, right? o3o
Imagine this. I mean, obviously the four of us are different so we would make one heck of a team. I mean you guys cover my weakness and we cover each other strengths/weakness =3=
I can see Magni being the leader with his leader like skills x3 -jumps around-
Now I want us to table top xD
I can imagine me get TOO into it ;;; something like;
-jumps on chair- THEN I SHOOT HIM WITH MY ARROW
.....: You can't shoot him. You can slap him.
Me: Then I slap him with the pointy end of my arrow.
xD

You reminded me of something. An old war story. The group had found the big baddie, and the barbarian was played by a guy with a nerf bat in a chair with wheels. As the GM was playing the big baddie monologing, the big guy slowly wheeled over behind him and announced "YOU STUPID. ME HIT YOU!" and thus . . . the bat came down on the GM's head. In a surprised state, the GM admitted that the evil guy wasn't paying attention, and the barbarian had beat him single-handedly.
*Imagines Yoder and Lily working in tandem from the shadows, pulling enemies to their doom or stapling them into oblivion from a distance. Chaos leading the charge with springtraps and specialized weaponry for close-quarters combat as I hang back in plain view charming others into attacking one another, or perhaps making their reality a hellish nightmare as they flail frantically at demons only they can see*
