Discovered today that I accidentally paid myself an extra $500 bonus last week when I did payroll. gonk
It's somehow managed to completely screw up payroll and taxes for everyone in the company. scream

it's been a huge pain in the a**. Our payroll system hates me (I'm the only salaried employee), so I can't cut myself individual bonus checks like I can for the rest of the employees. So I stuck my last year's bonus onto a regular paycheck. What I didn't realize was that the bonus amount showed up on the NEXT paycheck, too.
And we still haven't figured out how that wound up screwing up everyone else's taxes. gonk

Turns out the taxes aren't screwed up...Fed just lowered social security tax on individuals for 2011 by 2%. So THAT wasn't my fault. However, I still have to figure out how to give back $500 less taxes to the business. gonk

Maybe I really am just "that mean guy" in apartment 59!
At work yesterday morning I walked from the bakery into the deli, and was making labels for some product. The deli woman and a co-worker were joking about. I said something and the deli woman told me to "mind my own business."
stare
So, about 30 minutes later when I noticed she left her sink water running, I minded my own business and let it keep running until it overflowed and she had a big flood to mop up on her deli floor.

heart heart Okay!! I totally had the best dream last night!
It was mt meeting the love of my life. At my work of all places. Even worse was I had to beg my boss not to embarrass me in front of him. (since he dose that a lot IRL).
But in the End the deam/date ended with me kissing my man acoss a table for our first kiss! xp heart It was sweet, but like all good dream it cam to an end...
I just felt like I needed to share my uplifting story/cream with all of you. heart It put me in such a good mood.
