Rei gathered his things and prepared for the upcoming battle.

Before Caleb could even utter a 'hello', Tiresias was sent out and they were teleported. Caleb muttered to himself as he leaned over the first trash can he could find in range. Would probably be a lot more convenient to just carry a paper bag with you Caleb. His Marshtomp stood next to him, rubbing his back.

After what seemed like hours, Maddy finally received another message on her TADS. She took the device out and flipped it open, reading the message. With a sigh, she placed it back in her pocket and got to her feet.
"Let's go!"
With that, she rushed off into the woods.



After a few minutes, they closed in on the border of Geosenge Town and came to a large rock with a wide opening in it. On closer inspection, it appeared to be an open door that lead to a set of stairs.
"An underground base... Just peachy."
She was surprised there was no grunts stationed outside to slow them down.
She turned to her allies, her hands in her pockets.
"You guys ready? Once we go in, there's no turning back."
She knew they had a time limit at the moment, but wasn't overly worried. They had beaten Team Flare multiple times in different situations, tonight would be no different.
"Hopefully Yveltal doesn't kill us all."
As she spoke, her hand went to a 7th Pokeball at her waist. Xerneas.

Dark recalls Misery and follows the team. Upon hearing Maddy's comment on Yvetal he laughs. He wasn't afraid of any Pokemon. No matter what it was he knew he and his team could beat it.
"Lysandres going down. There's already a cell a waiting for him." He punches an open palm and grins.

Caleb stuffed his hands in his pockets, clenching them into fists. Yvetal being mentioned made his heart pound faster. The thought of meeting the harbinger of death made him a bit anxious. His Marshtomp walked alongside him, looking at him every now and then. He seemed to sense Caleb's uneasiness.

Rei could only nod in agreement. Apprehension showed on his face, but he was determined to be with his group until the bitter end.

With luck, he might survive this encounter. He looked at his Zubat.

"Don't let me down." She nuzzled his cheek and lay on his head, sensing his unease.

Allen lowered down and sneaked around the side of the room, dodging around the beams of light from the various Team Flare members scrambling about in the room. He quickly shifted to hide behind another desk, but a flashlight caught him just as he was pulling himself behind the desk and he heard a deep voice cry out, "Hey! Combusken, get them!" There was a sharp pain in Allen's arm as the Pokemon's claws tore through the fabric and sliced his arm.
"Augh." Allen cried out, he shifted away, pushing from the desk, he tossed a ball into the air, revealing a Reuniclus in a bright flash. A bunch of people gave dazed screams and there were a bunch of thuds in the distance as people bumped into each other and fell to the ground. Allen caught a glimpse at the person who'd caught him. The Grunt has his jacket open, revealing dark red shirt that oddly enough worked well with the orange.

"Crush Claw!" Combusken, jumped high into the air, bouncing off the wall and slashing across the ball of gel, cutting deep enough to damage the inner body. The gel around Cecil's body shivered and began drooping slightly, his defense had fallen from the attack.
"Cecil! Psychic!" He nodded. The Combusken had landed, spun and and was ready to attack again, it was caught off guard and blasted backwards by the attack in mid air. It slammed against a far wall, fainted. "Return Cecil!" Allen whipped up the Pokeball and returned his Pokemon. It wasn't very damaged, but that defense drop would hurt later on.

"Go Sableye!" The Team Flare Admin called out his next Pokemon.
"Neida! Hurricane!" The Whimsicott landed, her cotton fluff shifted and shook violent, whipping up a harsh gust that stormed around the Sableye slamming it against the walls and confused grunts. It slid across the the floor, ending up at it's trainer's feet. Allen huffed. leaving his Whimsicott out to fight since she hadn't been damaged.

"Bisharp!" The grunt called, Allen flinched.
"Moonblast!" He called, a ball of bright energy gathered in the air above the short grass type, she threw her arms up as high as she could and threw it at the Bisharp. The energy took it's toll, but in the end, the Bisharp stood strong, it's blades glowed a bright red color, sharpening themselves and effectively increasing it's attack. It's Defiant boosted it's attack stat sky high.
"Iron Head." The Bisharp lowered it's head and pushed itself forward, it reared it's head and slammed hard into the tiny body of the Whimsicott, she went skittering across the floor, fainted. Allen sighed, returning his Pokemon. "Ubella!" The Aqua member called out his Volcarona. Her wings glowed bright in the dark room. "Flamethrower!" The flames enveloped the foe, leaving it to fall to the floor.

By now, the Grunt was beginning to get frustrated, "Scrafty!" The lizard-like Pokemon with the hood and baggy bottoms made a rude gesture toward Ubella and she gave a short screech. Her wings glowed brightly and flames sprouted from the tips. "Bug Buzz!"

The sounds of her vibrating wings bounced harshly around the room, hurting the foe Scrafty. It slammed it's foot against to floor, causing the ceiling to crumble a little and three chunks to fall over Ubella's body. She got extremely hurt from the falling chunks, but managed to survive just barely.
"Again!" She pushed herself from the ground, and flew in extremely close to the foe, her wings closed in on either side of the Pokemon, creating a kind of cone around it. Her wings buzzed, a blast of noise shot the Scrafty into the wall behind it and just continued shooting. After all was said and done, she flew in close and started talking smack in the Scrafty's fainted face. Seemed like she was saying 'WHAT NOW, HUH? WHAT'CHU GON DO NOW, PUNK???' Allen sighed returning his Pokemon and escaping just barely from the scene.
