The constellations glow
The seasons change in turn
 Charlotte was unenthused. After the last match, her desire to play quidditch at all had gone down considerably, yet here she was. At least it wasn't snowing or freezing this time around. She yawned and stretched deeply. She silently prayed to any god that may have been listening that this would be a quick game. Even if that meant they lost. Mind, she wasn't about to give up, but if Ravenclaw happened to catch the snitch within the first ten minutes, who was she to complain? She gave one more yawn before positioning herself for when the game began.

xxxxx✯ Wʜᴀᴛ'ʀᴇ ᴍʏ ᴛʜᴏᴜɢʜᴛs? I'm so glad the sun is back!
It was a lovely day. Thankfully the harsh winter seemed over, the sun shining and a decently warm day in forecast. Charlotte had also been doing pretty good as a Seeker this year, so Lewis knew he'd have to keep on his A-Game. Linsey had invited him to practice ahead of the game, and Lewis was glad to do just that. He had to get his brain in the game! He was perpetually busy with everything in school, but flying in the clouds was just so freeing. They had to play a bit of a catch up in order to secure a win.... but they also had to hope the final game didn't end with anyone gaining a bunch of goals and swaying the results.
Lewis looked up into the stands, grinning and waving when he saw his family gathering in. It had been minimal at the last freezing game, but it looked like his family was back in full force. He returned his focus to the game at hand. They had to win, and that required his full focus. If they could win the season, he'd feel a lot better about his chances as a captain in the future.

Fiadh was surprised to hear that both their captain and vice captain were sick. It opened up the reserves to play on the pitch but that didn't mean Fi was any less nervous. She was unsure how things would go but hoped for the best. She knew Seb and Dec would be watching in the stands. They'd be cheering her on for sure. Grabbing a broom and headed down she fiddled with her hair in anticipation. 'Hopefully this will be a good game.' she thought. At least it were decent weather.

Thank goodness the sun was back in force today! She was glad to be outside, especially with some young talent there early to practice ahead of the game. Once everyone was out, though with Hufflepuff short their Captain and Vice Captain due to illness, Xiang walked to the center and gestured everyone skyward. She released the bludgers and snitch, took the quaffle and flew up. "Hello, my little turtledoves! Today we've got Ravenclaw versus Hufflepuff. It's two great teams facing off, so it'll be a good one! Miss James is filling in as Captain for the day, and I'll be here to help in the event Captains are needed.
Xiang idly tossed the quaffle between her hands, preparing for the start. "Alright, we're all ready? Chasers ready? I want a nice, clean match. No cheating, no magic, no nothing crazy! Alright, here we go!" She threw the quaffle between the Chasers, then backed up to watch the game unfold.

 Lily approached the center of the pitch, butterflies trying to make their way out of her stomach. Maybe one of these days she wouldn't be nervous about the game, but today wasn't that day. She took a breath and waited for the quaffle to be unleashed and to make her go for it.
