*Televisions all over Midvale and Hero High pick up the incoming special news report.*
This is Lucy Berkley reporting live from Midvale. We've gotten tip that tomorrow representatives of The Church for Human Purity will be in town. The group will be setting up for their planned protest of Hero High by looking for hotels rooms and getting the required forms to schedule the gathering. They're also expected to scout a location for their protest.
Reverend William Stryker has promised that the protests would be peaceful and Hero High has been strangely silent until now. We're joined by Hero High spokesman and Gotham's First Son, Bruce Wayne.
Mr. Wayne...how does Hero High plan to respond to the protests?
Ms. Berkley...we at Hero High plan to do nothing. Our country guarantees the right to free speech even if it's hate speech. Our students will be asked to stay on school grounds for the duration of the Church's stay in Midvale and our teachers would never interfere with the rights of the protesters.
But how can you guarantee that no one from your school will interfere with the protest? Everyone has heard reports of Emma Frost's struggle for power among the teachers...
Let me interrupt you, Ms. Berkley. There is no "power struggle" as you put it. It's just a question of how best to serve the school and our students. We're all people and we have varying opinions. Some of us disagreed with Ms. Frost's choices and we working out how to proceed in this regard. But we are all in agreement with one thing. For the safety our students and the citizens of Midvale, we will not interfere with the peaceful protests that the Church claims they have.
I can't help but notice that you said "peaceful protests." Many in the mutant community have claimed that the Church is nothing more than a front for the terrorist group called the Purifiers. Since the Church claims to be expanding their viewpoint to encompass all superpowered people, are you worried that the Purifiers will commit an act of terror?
If the Purifiers attack Hero High or the citizens of Midvale then rest assured that the staff WILL act to protect our students and the town. We will not tolerate violence of any type.

*Dani Laughs having a good time in Hawaii, and dosen't need anyone to push her on stage, at the first invite she was up there rockin a hula skirt like it was a cat walk!*

And Achilles would have been able to keep off of the stage in his little tug-of-war, that is until a young hula dancer crept up behind him and tickled him under the arms.
This caused him to yelp in laughter and he stumbled forward with the dancers and before you knew it, he was standing onstage with the men and women dancing around him and some of the people watching, laughing and applauding, trying to get him to join in.
Resigned, and figuring that so long as he was in this time, he might as well indulge in some of the experiences, Achilles watched the moves and begun to mimick them ... quite well!
Earning a more tan a few cheers and some applause from young ladies watching...who knew Achilles knew how to "shake it" like that?

"I can't say as I'm pleased in the direction the poll took, Harley. I honestly thought the Headmistress race would come down between myself and Diana Prince after all of the bumbling Emma did."
"Oh, Ravie, you shoulda known Emma wouldn't just stand down. She's probably got all kinds of people psycho-ensnared into voting for her!"
"And what about this Mister "Dee," anyways? He just strolled onto campus a few weeks ago, and suddenly half the student body are in the glee club and half the teachers think he's the second coming!"
"Well, he IS a stylish dresser!"
::Raven sighs and rubs her temple.::
"He is a wild card in our plan to bring around a revolution here at Hero High. If he won the Headmaster vote, for all we know, it could be chaos!"
::Harleen smiles.::
"Ain't nothing wrong with a little anarchy every now and then, Ravie. Don't worry about it. Show up at the Headmaster Debate tomorrow night, and hear what he and Emma have to say. I think that a looooooooooot of people will be swayed."
::Harleen skips a little bit.::
"Saaaaaaaaaay,didja know lil' Hartley woke up? He's been sneakin' out for the last week and a half now, by my estimation. Sneak, sneak, sneak!"
::Raven smiles at that.::
"Now isn't that interesting..."

Cassie and Chris return to Achilles and Danielle when they are attacked by two hula girls pulling them up on stage. Cassandra laughs as she goes up on stage and starts to hula right next to Dani. One of the hula girls walks around giving each of them a flower necklace. Some fire jugglers come up on stage and Cassie decides to give it a shot. Throwing up sticks with fire burning on each side and twirling them up into the air.
"Hey Achilles catch!"
Cassie throws one of the sticks on fire towards her older brother knowing that the flames would not harm him in the slightest.

*Chris sits and watches the show. It was nice to have a break from gods stealing people's minds, friends dying, and alien attacks. Cassie and Achilles whirled the flame staffs faster and faster until the they were blurs of light. Chris whooped and applauded.*

::The next day, all of the Peeps Wally had met with the night before started wearing a red armband with a large, gold "W" on it. Word around campus was that they wanted everyone to know that they were West's Peeps. It was starting to create a buzz. Silver Sable considered giving her friends armbands, but everyone agreed that a red armband with an "SS" on it was probably a very bad idea.::
::Meanwhile, all around campus, flyers were hanging up....::

On the subjects of:
-Student rights and responsibilities
-Nutrition
-Funding for afterschool activities
-What to do in the case of an alien invasion

All faculty are required to attend. Attendance for students is optional (unless mandated by a teacher).

The trip to Hawaii had been fun and relaxing, and very much in need for the four young friends. The hula dance was the grand finale last night, and before they set to make their leave, a walk along the beach was a simple must.
Achilles wanders along at the side of the other three, his mind elsewhere rather than the gentle sunrise across the horizon. His feet sloshes in the waves as he waded ankle-deep in the waters that were a part of his heritage when he sensed her.
He could always sense her.
Standing ahead of the kids, in the water herself, stood Thetis, goddess of the oceans.
And Achilles's mother.

Cassie smiled. She loved the beach and feel of the sand inbetween her toes and the gentle ocean breeze across her face. The smell of salt water was so strong she felt as though she could taste it in her mouth. This was a welcome relief and after the mess that had gone on seemingly since the very start of school the young girl welcomed it. She sighed for Cassie knew that they had to head back to the school soon.
It was then Cassie saw the woman in the water of whom she recognized as a goddess simply by the aura that she was giving off. The young girl looked over to her elder brother Achilles and it seemed as though he clearly recognized her so Cassie tried as well when a gentle breeze carrying the voice of Aphrodite in a low whisper spoke to her.
"Her name Thetis.."
"Thetis? Achilles's mother..?"
Cassie then turned and looked at Achilles not knowing what to say.

He frowns as he sees the strange turtle "person" appear on the beach. He shakes his head and looks at Cassandra.
"I believe it is time Sister."
Achilles looked down at her and the pain in his eyes was etched for her to see in those sky blue orbs. Pain of seperation and of loss. His hair blew gently, fanning his handsome face and he gave her a pained smile.
"Time to decide, if I am to stay here with you, and with my...friends, or to return to Troy to where my destiny and doom await."
He turns back to look at his mother and she smiles, then begins to walk towards the children through the waves.

"I don't know what to say, Wally. Your sight should have returned by now."
::Nurse Foley puts down the flashlight and shakes his head as Wally puts his sunglasses back on in the Nurse's office.::
"It's all right. I'm managing to get around fine, thanks to my Peeps."
"Peeps? What are Peeps?"
::Nurse Foley scribbles down some notes as Wally gets down from the examination table.::
"The most wonderful people in the world. So loyal. So trusting."
::Nurse Foley looks up from his notes.::
"Wally, other than the eyes, how are you feeling? Any unusual symptoms?"
"No. Well, yes. I've been having bad dreams. But I think that's more because of stress than alien bug-juice."
"Have you talked to Mister Sampson yet?"
"No, I'll get around to that today or tomorrow. Right now, I'm going to be meeting up with some friends."
"Those 'peeps' of yours?"
::Wally grabbed his bookbag and the walking stick the school had issued him.::
"No, actually. You probably know them as the emo kids who hang out behind the cafeteria. They're always so down. I'm going to invite them to join my group. And once I have enough people...we're going to put on a Peep Show for the school."
::Wally walks out before Nurse Foley can ask what that's supposed to mean.::
