Matsuri nodded her head slightly when hearing him introduce himself and which she said, " Subaku no Matsuri." Saying this very fast since she had a feeling he proubably already knew that.
"I really don't know." She said with a small sigh awnsering his question." It might be because me, Gana, Bone and Drago were premoted to chuunin,..There aren't to many out right now, most of them on missions so the leaders might have just picked out anywon who did not have a mission right now." She guessed.

"They probably didnt care if we were in the middle of training..." The spider nin said with a sigh, but looked up at Matsuri and simply smiled. "But that still surprises me...That a little squirt like you's actually my superior," he said in a bitterly amused way. The fact seemed to bug him, yet impress him. "So...These guys we're after, were they friends of yours?"

The child blinked once or twinc when hearing him, unsure of when she should awnser him or not. "I-I'm not that little," She studdered with a small smile, glancing back tords the leaf village when saying that.
"Yes they are," She said not wanting to say 'were' since she really did not know why they were being hunted down and wanted to make sure it wasn't somw stupid reason.

"Your shorter then me, so I declare you little!" Kumo shouted back at the girl, obviously feeling smug that he surpassed her in one area. Height. He sighed then as he heard the next bit. "And your bonds to them wont distract you will it? If we have to take them down....Can you do it?"

A small sweatmark appeared on the back of her head when hearing him," W-well..Y-your too tall," She muttered in her childish ways, that being the best she could coem up with for now.
"I-I can...However if they have done nothing wronge then I would see no reason but to just bring them back if they so called crime is worth their death then so be it," She said however knowing that they were the strongest ninja's from the village of Leaf made her wounder if they could even beat them.

"To tall?! Your just to damn short! You probably dont even eat your vegetables..." Kumo mumbled, but nodded as he heard the girl add the last few sentences. "I suppose thats understandable...If they really havent done anything to bad...Then theres really no point to fight them, but if we must...Think we can win?"

"I'm not short! I'm only nine you old man," She said with a small smirk on her face however when hearing him she seemed to go back to acting more serious.
"I supose" She said then paused with a small sigh. " Truthfully I think its a very small chance that we would win. If we had more people with us then I'd say we'd still have a low chance but high enought to get some hopes up."

"Im not old!" Kumo mumbled, before seeming to grow serious again. He cursed under his breath. "Oh how wise of the Kages!" he siad with bitter sarcasm. "To send a bunch of Genin and a Chuunin against what just may be the strongest Shinobi in the lands..." he sighed then. "But if theres a chance we can win...Theres hope..."

"old,.."She muttered then nodded her head when hearing him. " Yep very wise of them" She said with another sigh still not liking on how this so called 'mission' was going. "We have a good chance in finding Drago and Gana right now since the jounin exams were starting with them. If they are in Leafs hospital or still in the city were the finals were being held then we miht not have to fight them but thats only if were lucky." Saying this she glanced tords Yari who was silent for awhile.

Kumo simply sighed. "At least we know where they might be...But I wonder...Are we the only group after them? Or have other genin been told?" he asked as he turned his gaze up ahead to get a glance at his other team mate, who seemed rather quiet. He glanced at Matsuri once more. "That boy...Who is he?"

Kumo simply nodded at the girl's response. True...Other nin may pitch in to help...Or those Hunter-Nin. He then paused as he heard the second bit. "Yari Hyuuga...? A friend of yours?" he asked, glancing up at the boy. He had already spoke with Matsuri, yet he was curious about this one as well.

Yari looked at the new genin and stood to himself as he in no mood to talk Yari had the placed his tanto near his shoulder as he adjusted his Tanato he had then said " Yes others may help but you must be new i am Yari Hyuuga and those missing nin are friends of ours ".

"Ah...So you know them too...." Kumo said faintly with a ligh sigh. Apparently, he seemed to be the only one who had no knowledge of the missing nin. And this, bugged him. "Hopefully that wont pose a problem."

Yari looked at the genin and said " so you didnt know well one was my best friend and the another was a friend with great wisdom and the other was too " Yari said thinking of when bone had left.
