Yuki closed her eyes as Reeve stormed out past her. She pretended to pay no mind for now, "I will see what I can do..." She replied to Sage, starting some tea for herself since her seemed not to want any.

Still playing, Reeve closes his eyes and leans back, offering his music to the sky. He controls a country, his life, even the weather itself. The only thing he doesn't seem to be able to control is his own happiness.

Sage nodded to yuki, " Then I'll be off for now. The sooner this thing is buried, the sooner it can be reaped by the next generation of mentalists. "
Sage then went out of the dojo. He meandered around the forest for a bit, then went to what looked like a large rock. He flipped the hollow rock over, dragged his cart out, and replaced the rock. probably going to take a while...I should have my cart on hand...after all...it's got preserved foodstuffs on it.
And so off he went, dragging his cart along on his trek.

Once Sage was gone, she waiting for the water to boil as she got two mugs out. Placing fine green tea leaves in each mug, she soon poured the boilding water over then and turned the oven off.
She picked up the mugs, then made her way out the back as she stood at the door, giving Reeve a calm look. "Are you going to keep acting like this? I still have yet to understand what is wrong with you."

Putting the flute away, Reeve shakes his head and lowers his eyes.

She sighed and shook her head, "'Cause I call yah cutie, and act freely 'bout you? Didn' know that was a crime." She shook her head, walking over to him and handing him the tea she sat beside him. "Or maybe you're overreacting 'bout how I act 'cause of th' way I look?"

"Scary to care? I've never heard such words placed in on sentence like that before." She said, spotting him a smile, "And, yet, you wonder why I like being a cat so much?" She asks him, taking a sip of her tea before answering, "Because then people fall for me just for beauty, like Drake who went starry eyed at th' sight of me."

"There used to be this girl named Fenris," Reeve begins slowly, "And I loved the girl dearly. She was the only one to come close to filling that void since Sarya died...but she didn't care at all about me. Broke my heart, she did...that's the way it goes, Yuki. I care about someone, and give my all to them, and I get nothing but hurt for it. That's why you scare me so. I don't want to, because I know I'm just fun to you, but I'm falling again."

"Fenris...? Sage mentioned that name earlier... said she died or somethin'..." Yuki said with a frown. She looked to Reeve in despair, not enjoying the fact that he was so upset. "I tried to stop callin' you cutie; I thought that was th' problem from what I heard last night. Guess I was wrong."

"She....died?" Reeve asks. That didn't help at all. The hand holding the tea mug shakes a little as he takes a sip. "I like the way you act around me, the things you call me...but it's just...not..."

She sighed. what she had said was not supposed to make him feel better. "Enough? You want more?" She asked, quirking an eyebrow to him. "Look, to crave for something like this is merely out of lust. If you get it without putting in any sort of work, you will have no feeling of accomplishment. To sob and cry over the past, is to be weak." (( And if Reeve would remember, Fenris had said something like this... near two or three years ago. XD ))

" Don't finish my sentance, don't pretend you know what I think, how I feel and don't you DARE tell me I'm weak. You may be half a century old or whatever, but I put up with enough without you talking down to me."
He eyes her sternly.
"If you want to be a**l about it, you'd best remember that you're not above me here.
Life is easy for you- it's fun and games. Maybe the ennui of living set in, I don't know, but you are NOT any sort of better than me, especially to talk to me like that. Live my life before you start rattling on about who's weak, shifter."
Raising his voice only to emphasise certain words, Reeve calmly sips his tea.

Yuki seemed to take no offense to what he had said as she sighed and put her tea down, leaning back against the wall. "I am not saying you are any lower than me, or any higher, but you get what you make of life. If something haunts you, it is your fault. And so, since it is your own fault, you should try to fix it instead of dreading on it.
'I could never live a life like yours, for I do not jump love by a gun, just because a friend attempts to make you smile. Nor am I the one who flirted just because a friend tried to make you happy." She smile to him, her words still calm. She was not trying to be mean to him in any way, even though his words were meant to be. She was simply trying to discuss in a calm manor.
