Mac is a Cadian, born into a family of minor nobility, his father a renowned tank ace and his mother adjutant to the general staff. His younger brother was recruited into the Kasrkin at a young age, while little Macharius was pampered and set aside for a life of serving the Cadian PDF. Little Mac refused this, denounced his family name and enlisted with the common white shields. From there his star began to rise, for a long time as a lieutenant until finally becoming a lord general.
Mac is the diminutive of Macharius, whom he was named after in honour of said Saint.
