Not that he had Ptolemy with him at the moment. He reached out and attempted another steal, his gaze hard.

Ronna frowned slightly as she missed Dmitri and realized that Jacob had missed the younger seeker for the Slytherin team. Though, Jacob had the same idea as she did because he aimed for Dmitri, and it looked highly likely to be a success. Okay, then, my turn to try for the seeker then, She thought. The chasers were doing a good job at playing keep away from each other, but the seeker was probably the biggest concern, especially since it looked like Kenny may have spotted something.

When she saw one of the Gryffindor Beater's go after Kenny she knew what she had to do. Rushing over she tried to hit the bludger away to save her teammate. Scanning the field he took a breath trying to relax himself. No one had really been hitting him so he was pretty relaxed this game. Though he'd be better off if he found the snitch... His stance was obvious. He remained on the defensive line and always kept close to Kenny, just in case. Maybe that was a mistake. In his efforts of protecting the seeker, he left himself wide open for a bludger hit. He should have heard it whistling through the skies-- but he hadn't. He was too busy focused on Kiss, whom seemed ready to line up a shot against their seeker. Before he could retaliate, a bludger struck him square in the small of his back and chucked him forward, nose against the broom handle, balance lost and dipping down to the grass, and fast. He barely recovered long enough to pull back on the handle and regain control. He breathed a sigh of relief when Mira guarded Kenny successfully and redirected the ball straight for one of their chasers. He hissed a sigh through clenched teeth, the pain was blistering in his spine. But he sought out a bludger and aimed straight for their seeker, David.

Kenny had just spotted the snitch when he saw the bludger being aimed his way. Thankfully, he'd been saved by Mira when he'd almost been hit. He silently gave her a quick thank you as he went to chase down the snitch, his eyes locked on the shining ball. He was going to catch it this game, he knew it.

Jacob watched as the the Russian was hit and nodded grimly as he had to right himself on his broom. Good. Then he noticed that the guy had aimed at David. Eyes firmly on the bludger, he went to intercept, deciding to redirect it at Kenny, who had spotted the snitch and was now chasing it.

Dmitri cringed. He missed horribly, but couldn't dwell. Being beater was certainly harder than it seemed, the advanced flying classes weren't even close to the real thing. He bit down on his tongue as he shook his hair from his face and spotted Drage in the midst of another soaring hit. He raced to defend his teammate and block the bludger, hopefully, to send it back at the beaters. But this time, towards Kiss. Maybe catch her off guard if he's lucky.

Location: Quidditch Pitch: Gryffindor vs. Slytherin Getting the quaffle stolen from her again Leonette went to get it back only to get hit by none other then her sister. Feeling the bludger slam into her arm she was in shock. "How did she...?" she muttered under her breath. Leonette never suspected her sister would actually be able to hit her. Aim at her sure but never actually hit her target. Glaring at her sister Leonette took off after Ashley again and was happy to see that Tanya managed to steal it back.
