School is never canceled anymore. When I was in elementary school, there would be about two or three snow days in an average year. Now there hasn't been a single one in over two years. And there is nothing in the world I need more right now than a day off. School today made me want to stab myself and leave a note written in my own blood telling my teachers to blame themselves. If I have to go to school tomorrow, which is not only a possibility but a very near guarantee, I might just end up doing something like that.

Kestin Sha School is never canceled anymore. When I was in elementary school, there would be about two or three snow days in an average year. Now there hasn't been a single one in over two years. But not until after I go around and shoot everyone who did get a day off, either today or tomorrow. Cause I'm ******** psychotic like that. -_- Maybe a more painful death for those who got both. I'd give you my days off. They're annoying the hell out o' me.

If a school uses up too many snow days, even though it isn't the fault, they have to make up for it in the future.. unless the conditions are damned near impossible. That's how my school was and for 3 years we didn't get a single snow day. Now, we did get delays and unfortunately, the teachers forced us to make those up with some serious extra work..
That's how it is around here (Indiana) but I dunno about where you live.. It's crappy either way. Just excuse yourself from class if you need to, saying you gotta go to the bathroom or something to chill out. They have no right to hold you from that option so long as it isn't 5 times in every class. >>

Today was officially the worst weather I've ever driven in. The whole way to school and back, I just kept thinking how ridiculous it was that classes weren't canceled. I could barely see anything from all the melting snow on my windshield, and there was a piece of slushy icy stuff stuck to my windshield wipers that would just make big streaks of wetness every time I used them. And the roads were completely white, so I couldn't even see if I was in the right lane. I wanted to cry the whole time, and now I'm all snuggled up with some hot chocolate and a blanket, talking to my princey. I never wanna leave the house again, but I know I'll have to do it all over again tomorrow because I have a Stats test gonk

I am a horribly finicky sleeper, and I started this week off wrong. I slept less than four hours on Monday afternoon, so I slept less than four hours on Tuesday afternoon as a result... and today I have to wake up in less than six hours and I'm feeling exhausted but I can't sleep yet because I went to sleep later than this the past two days. I have to fall asleep at the same time of day every day or later; my body won't let me fall asleep earlier than I did the previous day even if I'm about to drop dead of exhaustion.

I am a horribly finicky sleeper, and I started this week off wrong. I slept less than four hours on Monday afternoon, so I slept less than four hours on Tuesday afternoon as a result... and today I have to wake up in less than six hours and I'm feeling exhausted but I can't sleep yet because I went to sleep later than this the past two days. I have to fall asleep at the same time of day every day or later; my body won't let me fall asleep earlier than I did the previous day even if I'm about to drop dead of exhaustion.

*bashes head into the wall* Just go and lay in bed until you fall asleep (or read). I often find that just the rest from laying in bed makes me feel better in terms of lack of sleep. I find it's most effective if you drink tea or hot chocolate first, since the hot liquid relaxes your body. At least that's what I like to do when I'm really tired but can't sleep, reading in bed sometimes helps as well. (I often have problems sleeping as well, I hate it when one day I sleep in until 12, and then the next day I have to get up at 8 but I can't fall asleep until like 3a.m. also, sleeping in until 12 is usually the result of staying up until 4a.m or latter)
