Nami's eyes moved beneath closed lids. She shifted on the small cot, drawing her blanket closer.
Nami...? Clow's voice echoed in her head and she blinked, letting her eyes slide open at the sound although she alone could hear it.
You're awake. She let the relief she felt at his prodding flow through with her reply as she stretched sore muscles, throwing her legs over the side of the cot and standing. She was tucked into the corner of the hall, the medwing not having any extra accomodations at that time.
Despite arguments, she had been determined to stay near Clow and so had finally settled herself a cot in the hall just outside of the room.
Pushing herself into a standing position she groaned, stretching again as muscles protested the movements.
Ignoring them, she walked gingerly into the room, smiling softly at the figure on the bed.

Clow had already adjusted himself into a sitting position on the edge of the bed, huffing and puffing. He was in nothing but a hospital-type gown and his forehead protector. Finally he pushed himself up, taking the cane by his dresser and using it for support, and then he smiled reassuringly before looking up.
"Nami...it's only been a few days...and already I can walk!"
He said with a smile growing bigger. He was glad she was okay, and that he too was okay. On his hand...there were now three Akatsuki rings; Kotaru's being the recent one, Kisame's the second and Itachi's being the first he gained.

Iri's wings beat quickly for a minute or so before slowing again. At the same time, she reaches around to hold Reeve firmly against her back. She isn't willing to risk dropping the man. Not that she couldn't catch him, but she would still feel bad for being so clumsy. There's another problem, though. She can't feel the strain on her body yet, but Iri knows she won't be able to fly with Reeve for very long. At best, she can probably fly for about ten minutes.
Her flight goes from ascending and vertical to horizontal and moving forward. "Having fun yet?"

"That's great, now get back into bed. I'm not going to have you screw up your recovery because you're restless." She replied, taking a few more steps into the room.

Reeve nods, but remembering she can't see it, replies "Yes! Tho' I'm sorry..I must weigh a ton!"
Reeve smiles, watching the ground sweep out below him, looking so small and fragile.

Clow sighed and dropped his shoulders as he shifted slowly back to his bed and crawled back in under the covers.
"Bleh. You're no fun..."
He then made a silly face at her.

(( Indeed you might have Nyl, XD)) "Well someone's got to be responsible, it obviously isn't you." She chided, going over to the bed and seating herself cautiously on the edge. Neither had spoken about that night and Nami didn't really want to.
"Have you eaten yet?"

"Earlier...I'm not a big fan of food right now."
Clow sighed and looked at his lap and then up at her silently.
"Nami, are you okay...? I mean, I know you set up a bed out there...but...it's been a few days...and not once did you come in...Are you still shooken up...?"

"I was sleeping." She lied with a re-assuring smile. Part of it was true. She'd mostly drifted in and out of sleep the last three days, only getting up to eat and shower.

A creeping soreness in the joints connecting her wings to her shoulder blades confirms Reeve's statement. The woman is just starting to feel the strain of supporting him. Iri decides right then that what weight Reeve has must be all muscle. She is also very glad that she didn't try to carry anyone larger than him. If she had kept up strength training in her wings while traveling, though, that wouldn't have been a problem.
"You're heavy, but not that heavy. I'm gonna have to starting testing my wings more often." The soreness starts to become a slightly worse pain. Iri can feel her wing strokes marginally weaken. "Time to set down. This is the really fun part."
Iri allows her body to dip down in a slow dive. She has traveled a few miles from the dojo already, and she knows the two of them will be hoofing it back home. The woman's target is a large meadow marked by a small, slow stream of water.

He gave a small smile and looked down, and then back up with the same smile.
"But I'm glad you're okay love..."

Reeve holds on tight, but swears vehemently as Sakiyn's glasses slip off. Releasing his grip on her and wriggling out of her grasp, he free-falls after them, snatching them out of the air.

She returned the smile. "Once Reeve said you'd be fine I guess I kind of crashed...sorry."

Iri first hears Reeve's curse and then feels him deliberately slip out of her hold. Her eyes widen in alarm and she utters an oath of her own. Holy hell! Why'd he jump off!?
The woman flips her body around in mid-dive just in time to witness him grab the stray glasses. Once he has them, Iri reaches out to wrap her arms around Reeve, saying as she does, "What ya do that for? I almost had a heart attack when I felt you push away!"
