Vintrict Pft, why you draw up such a weak character? That's only his first form. His second form is a Blastoise.

Lollipop Fiend I'm still a bit upset at the hole "The first guy was too stupid to complain" comment with nerfing my character. =( Somebody shouldn't have to whine about something if it's supposedly broken. Hopefully profiles will be handled a bit better this time around. Oh, and I guess I hope this time around when Koto tells you one thing the exact opposite doesn't happen. Having my character's abilities drastically nerfed right before the finals was rather harsh. Of course, I didn't have to fight, but still. EDIT: Of course, since I was facing someone I had already lost to with full power, I was a tad nervous. XD.

Yeah, the timing of character nerfs was pretty stupid. They really need to pay attention and make initial profile judging more objective or live with their mistakes I think one of the bigger problems was that they didn't even really know what power level they wanted. You had a few characters who would had been weak even in this tournament and then you had some who approached towards the actual YYH levels but needed to be nerfed. =( YYH isn't even mid-level power in the grand scheme of things.

*sighs* well, it wasn't the graphics processor, which they would have replaced for free...it's the logic board...
so now, I've got 5 options:
Send it in through Apple for roughly $1200, where they will basically make everything new
Go to another place nearby that will just replace the logic board, for less (don't know how much), but that might not stop the problem from happening again
Buy another mac
Buy a PC *grits teeth*
Or, get a cheap a** netbook, and save up to either repair or buy a mac later
I guess most of it will depend how much the other place will charge to fix it *sigh*

Round 1 and Round 2 are the best examples of the power levels needed for that tournament. Anyone who was more powerful was just the main cast and antagonists. Even Genkai's old team when she and Toguro participated in the DT in the past weren't that good.

Kyt, why don't you like PCs?
Macs are just the same hardware with a different logo on it, so it costs more. Seriously, you could probably go buy that same Mac with out the Mac logo for half the price. No joke.
I mean, maybe you just like OS X...Which I don't know why, but maybe you just grew up with it.
Why don't you like PCs, or I guess you just don't like Windows?
Because Apple is a horrible company. Well, besides their MP3 players, but the most recent design for the shuffle is by far the stupidest thing ever. Seriously, you can't use good headphones? REALLY?!
Arrrrrrgh!

******** that, save yourself the money and buy the parts for a PC and put it together yourself.
EDIT:: For the price you gave for that Mac, I could pretty much build at least two DECENT PCs.

The wonderful thing about PCs is that when they break (as all computers do) you can just open it up and replace one part with the new one that you got off the internet for 30 bucks. I built my desktop for around 900, and it was more powerful than anything I'd ever seen at the time. The fan went out on my laptop so I'll just take the keyboard off and replace it with a fifteen dollar fan from ebay. Etc.

Someone obviously hasn't owned a mac before. I grew up with Windows, but switched to OSX and never looked back. The hardware is solid, and they have the best customer service anywhere. I mean, my next computer will be a PC, but before a graphics card, I'm getting OSX. Addendum: I don't tell people Windows 7 is bad, so don't bash a mac till you buy one.

If you're involved in any aspect of music production, Mac's produce far better software for recording and editing. Likewise for film. I've heard simillar things from people in the graphic design industry.
Personally, I don't do that stuff. I play video games, so I use a PC. But I wouldn't dispute anyone who preferred a Mac. There is no doubt that there are things they do better than Microsoft.
Every product has a niche.

There's only like two pieces of software that they make for Mac only that anybody would use. Everything else is also available on Windows with the same exact features.
Mac hardware is the same exact hardware they use in everything else now. If the $3000 Mac laptop hardware is solid, so is that $900 Dell laptop.
Mac customer service is great until you realize there are only two places you can take to fix your Max and they can charge you whatever price they want. Your PC, you can fix it yourself.
Man, when I had to use a Mac at school it was torture. What the ******** OS X, no ******** right click? ARGH!
But it's just like everybody else pretty much says. You can build a cheap good PC on budget. I built my PC for like $500 budget and all it was missing was Phenom II since they were just being released then. =( But last I checked, the equiv of my PC specs runs you $2k at the Mac store.

The wonderful thing about Mac's is that you can actually do this too.
Aside from being fearful of "voiding" your apple warranty, there is nothing to stop you from buying parts and fixing your own Mac. When I lived with my old flatmates in Australia 2 of them were involved in the IT industry. One of them was an avid Mac user and he had no difficulties in repairing his, or other people's Mac's. It's just a matter of getting to know the machine the same way you got to know your PC.
An average computer user has no idea how to upgrade their RAM or replace a fan. But if you want to learn how to do it, you can. I've been building my own computers for 6 years now, and when s**t goes wrong on my laptop, I never dream of taking it anywhere.
By the same token, I know people who would be terrified to sit down at their table with a screwdriver and open up their PC.

We have right clicks now. Actually the new apple mouse has all sorts of different functions. The older apple mouse had: left, right, middle, and two side "Squeeze" buttons. I use a logitech mouse that has two alternate buttons. All of this is super easy to set up in OSX, unlike windows. Well, old windows. XD. I remember trying to set up alternate buttons on a custom mouse back on XP, and it took an hour or two to figure it out. Additionally, I said "buy" not "use", because using it at school is completely different than living with it.
