Sage looked puzzled as he spoke, " Floating cloaks and masks? did you get drunk and wander off to a party and not remember to invite anyone else?"

Reeve finishes the dishes, drying his hands on a soft towel and sitting back at the table to drink his tea.

Sage nods a bit, his puzzled expression fading, " yeah...well, how about we go to this shrine tommorow eh? It's been a tiring day, and I'm off to sleep. Have a nice one Reeve."
After speaking Sage got up, gave reeve a bow, and wandered off into the forest. Before long, he found a nice tree, scrambled up it, and fell asleep in the branches.

Reeve wakes, feeling greatly refreshed by his first full night's sleep in a while.Stretching languidly as he rises, Reeve bids a good morning to Clow, not quite sure if he is awake or sleeping before he heads into the Main Room, where he gives a groggy yawn.

Irianna is already in the front plaza. Or, if one wants to get technical about it, Iri is above the plaza. She is doing lazy spirals in the air, giving her wings a chance to stretch and get some exercise. Once in a while she allows herself to dip down toward the earth and trees at a rapid rate only to swiftly climb up again. A stranger might think the woman drunk, weak, or injured at first glance. Another person, someone familiar with Iri or familiar with tactical flight patterns, would realize she is testing her physical responses.

A sharp and sudden tilt of her body brings Irianna into a quick dive. She swoops at the ground and reaches out with one hand. The drawstring of her travel bag is her target, and she hits it with the precision of a hawk. Bag firmly in hand, Iri tilts her body upward and performs a powerful downstroke of her wings. The world seems to drop away as she gains more and more altitude.
Once she feels her height is sufficient, Iri levels out her body and begins to glide again. The glide is only momentary this time. Iri tosses her bag high and far into the air. When it begins to descend, Iri dives to snatch the bag before it is halfway to the ground. Her body angles upward and her wings pump to gain more height. After she levels out, the bag gets thrown again. This activity helps keep the woman's responses sharp, aides in the ability of determining the most accurate angle for a dive, and keeps her wings and arms in shape. Aside from that, Iri finds it to be a fun game to kill time with.

After waking up and rubbing the sleep out of his eyes, Sage spots Iri performing her aerial acrobatics. hmmm...to speak up and possibly ruin her concentration...or stay silent and enjoy the show? I think I'll keep my peace. Besides, if something bad happens I'll be here to help.

Iri catches the bag once more. After that, she levels out and begins a slow, lazy downward spiral to the ground. She can feel her heart beating rapidly in her chest and the faintest trace of soreness in her wings and arms. The woman's porcelain skin holds a healthy flush of color and her mane of red hair is a little messy from being combed by the wind. Iri feels great, though, and it shows on her smiling face as she gracefully lights upon the ground.
Satisfied with her performance, Irianna drops her bag and falls forward into the lush grass. The greenery feels cool against her hot skin and cushiony beneath the weight of her body. A sigh of content escapes her lips and Iri closes her eyes.

Sage watches Iri land, and waits for her to lay down before speaking up, " pretty good show you put on there...if your training here fails you could always put on a street show and make a good living. Of course, if you go off and do that, be sure to invite me eh?"

Violet eyes snap open in surprise. Iri sits up with her legs folded beneath her. When she spots Sage, Irianna allows herself a humorous smile. "Actually, I've done street performances before. I was an aimless traveler for a few years before winding up here. Had to make a living one way or another, so I chose to entertain passerby with aerial tricks. Could have made a living doing it, but I didn't want to spend my life that way."
She tilts her head to one side, a habit that often gives her the appearance of a curious bird. "If I do have such a silly notion as leaving the academy, are you so sure you would want to tag along? People tell me I'm not much of a conversationalist. Might get boring."

Sage chuckles a bit, and winks to Iri, " oh, we're both young. I'm sure we could find something to do other than talk. But I asked because I figured we would make a good duo...You could draw their eyes up, and I could provide unique costumes or something by way of ectoplasm. "

Irianna gets to her feet. Both hands go to work brushing blades of grass from her legs, cloths, and exposed midrift. Something other to do than talk? Wonder if "Libido" had a hand in that comment? Or maybe I'm just the one with the mind in the gutter today? I won't ask about it. Might not want an answer. Though it is strange that I'm not blushing again. Maybe hanging out with so many more men than women is starting to wear away at my shyness? I can at least hope for that much.
Iri looks back up and says, "A good duo, huh? Yes, I do believe you've got a very good idea there." Then she grins and adds, "Too bad I don't plan to leave the Academy any time soon. Unless I prove to be a total dunce at the ninja arts, then I hope to make a career out of this."

Sage chuckled a bit and leaned back against the tree he was in. He let one of his legs dangle off the side of the branch, and the other bent up with the knee near his chest. " I doubt you'll fail at the training....but what are you going to do with it when the training is complete? Think about how you'll apply the skills you learn...what will happen?"

Iri lowers her gaze in thought. Truth be told, she hadn't really considered that question before. She has always wanted to expand upon her skills as a wind adept. Her love of travel and fighting came not long after that decision. But what do I want to do after I've become a kunoichi? How will I spend my life after I've learned everything this Academy can teach me?
The woman is silent for a few moments, deep in thought. Then she looks up and says quite simply, "I'll help people."
