Yes, yes I am Router. Yes I do.
Because people like me love giving people nicknames they don't like.

I don't at all consider Router or Van, as normal.
However with van you could pronounce it in such a way as the character Van in Vision of Escaflowne. (which would be pronounce Vahn.. i guess) but spelt Van.
ANd he's all angelic like, strong etc etc.
but i was more so reffereing to the nicknames given to me.
Like Chalk, and apparently Poppy.
Chibi is an okay nickname, because i am smaller(height wize) to my best friend and I am younger than my best friend. Chibi translated from Japanese means Small. So that would be a normal nickname because it's associated with truth of the person.
Tutu, is an okay nickname because my sister called me that when she was first learning my name.
there was one more that i wish not to share far too embarassing.
point is, if your going to give someone a nickname,give them a nickname that has something to do with the person, or a difference between yourself and that person, in a good context.
Don't just give them random nicknames for the sake of giving them nicknames. DO you really want them hating you for the rest of your life because of one stupid and dumb nickname you gave them, that somehow stuck and everyone started reffering to them as that?

::jumps into the conversation::
Well my name is Anna.. and my friends are horrid at nicknaming, so the only nickname I get out of it is Banana, something I hate past hell, but they wont stop. I personally like being called something completely random, just so long as it's not a inapropriate nick-name.
One of my friends is called kaity, and I call her hug-a-bunny... but it's sort of relevant cause I cling to her all day xp

Oh, a friend of mine has started calling me A-Huggs. [my last name has the word hug in it.]
