I don't think it's particularly special. I dote on my boy regardless of the date or time of year. Why should I have to go above and beyond my regular devotion only on holidays? Like I need an excuse to buy him cool stuff...*got Snifflz a hand-crafted hunting knife last week*
And for the "well I'm single" argument, then it's because you put too much stock in Valentine's day. It's a day someone decided to dub a lovey holiday, big whoop?

Eh the only holiday's I particularly care about are st pats, Christmas and Halloween st patts because it gives me an excuse to drink christmass because i see my family and halloween because yes and I'll admit I still like to dress up and walk around.
