[I stayed silent for a few moments, surveying the frozen river as a breeze ruffled my fur. With a quiet sigh, I turned back to Cherrypaw, sniffing the air as I did. The scent of vole was definitely stronger now, and soon enough, it's little brown body soon scuttled over a snow bank, scrambling for food and looking pitifully thin as it did so. The poor thing must've been extremely hungry if it was out this late. I felt a pang of sadness, longing for Newleaf to finally come to the Clans and release Leafbare's cruel grasp. Crouching down, I slowly slunk towards the small creature, tail brushing silently against the snow. Hunger overcame me and I jumped, sailing through the air and landing squarely on the vole, sides heaving. Man, I was weak. Killing it swiftly, I picked it up and trotted back to Cherrypaw]
"C'mon, let's go back. The patrol should be leaving soon for the Gathering, and they'll need us back at camp"

[Mosstar turned her bright gold gaze to the medicine, Cloudfang. She smiled at the she-cat, appreciating her help around the clan. Mosstar sometimes imagined her clan's atmosphere and state without Cloudfang, bragging that she had the best medicine cat. But snapping away from her self-centered side, she nodded towards the she-cat.] "Yes Cloudfang?" she said.

Cloudfang dipped her head to her leader. "Mosstar, we are running low of supplies. I will need to go out and look for herbs, but with the snakes around, I thought that it would be better if I take a warrior or two." She said. Her thoughts then lingered back to Hollowkit. "Also, I have found a kit who shows interest in herbs. I was wondering if I could take him with me. If he is truly interested then perhaps I shall have an apprentice." She said, her voice gentle and soothing. never give up if you still want to try...never wipe tears if you still want to cry

[Mosstar admired Cloudfang's respectful behaviour and nodded towards the medicine cat, glancing quickly at the kit who seemed to be interested in herbs. The corner of her lips curled into a slight grin, eyes gleaming proudly. With Cloudfang's keen knowledge of medicine and herbs, this little kit could learn a lot...and probably be as useful as Cloudfang, and serve the clan very well. Maybe it is time for Cloudfang to have an apprentice. Mosstar swiftly licked her paw, feeling she needs to groom.]
"Very well, choose two warriors of your choice, just make sure you come back safely with everyone." Mosstar said.
[Mosstar then thought about the kit who wanted to go out for herb hunting with Cloudfang, wondering if it's safe. Mosstar was confident in all her warrior's strength. A hint of worry was shown in her pupils.]
"As for the kit, you may take him with you. But I feel that one more warrior should protect you, and maybe let them catch some preys on the way. Two warriors won't be enough to fend off an army of snakes. But if you think the kit truly is interested for the position, then we shall discuss this further in my den afterwards." Mosstar added with a bit of a weak tone, glancing at the short pile of fresh kill. "Teach the little one many new skills, Cloudfang."
[Mosstar gave Cloudfang one last smile, slowly and weakly making her way to the high rock. She chuckled silently to herself, feeling that she was going to look like an elder compared to the other three leaders. With as much effort, she leapt onto the large rock, gazing down at her camp with bright eyes.]
"Fellow SeaClan members (I don't think I need to hold a clan meeting for gatherings? oAo;; )! Tonight is the day of the Gathering, listen carefully for I might call your name!" Mosstar announced, noticing the atmosphere of the clan starting to brighten up after that bloody snake fight.
"Phoenixice, Freezeshadow, Dragonfire, Echosong, Cloudfur, Cherrypaw and Spottedpaw! All those I called, let us go to the Gathering!" Mosstar finished with a loud voice.
[Even though she was getting old, Mosstar still had her swift speed. Quickly, like a mouse running from its predator, she rushed past the entrance of the camp, slowing down for her warriors to follow.]

@iZann: Since Trouttail isn't active lately and you wanted Ravenwind to go, if he is coming then i'll edit this post and he can come. XD If he's not allowed to and all or what not...
then I don't mind letting Ravenwing replace Echosong for the gathering, besides three cats at the gathering is hard to roleplay.))

CHERRYPAW [Cherrypaw watched as her mentor went for the vole. It looked scared, and lonely. Maybe it's parents were killed while a patrol was out hunting? Oh, the poor thing! But the calico apprentice ended up shaking off her feelings and congratulated her mentor for her catch.]"That was amazing, Frostfern! If I weren't as clumbsy, I would be just a bit better with hunting.. But I was born the way I was, so I'll deal with it."[Then she heard the word gathering, and her name! She was going to her very firstgathering! Oh dear Starclan, this was amazing!]"Frostfern, I'm going to my very first gathering! Oh boy, I wonder what gatherings are like.. Se you, I have to go see Mosstar so I won't get lost or anything.. Bye!"[Cherrypaw quickly darted into camp, right in front of Mosstar.]"When are we going? This is gonna be my very first gathering ever! Eek, I'm so excited!"

Jaykit listened to Hollowkit, and then fell asleep. She then dreamed of chasing butterflies, and scaring off dog puppies; just like back home. Jaykit then coughed awake, and winced at the pain. She almost felt herself drifting away...
OOC: I feel so ignored... Jaykit's about to die, is there anyone else in camp that could help?

Snowheart heard cough and limped over to were it was coming from. Than she saw Jaykit having a coughing fit. "Cloudfang?!" She yowled worried. She tried to help Jaykit in anyway she could.

With a swift lick across Jaykit's warm head, Echosong gazed into her apprentice's eyes with her own bright sapphire ones.] "My dear apprentice.." Echosong whimpered, not being able to focus on her pain anymore.
