The frog shook it's head, as best as it could... being a shadow puppet, and all. "Nope. I'm only here to eat the bugs that have been in this pond. Then you've got less bugs bothering you, I get a meal... and we're both happy."

"Back to the shadow puppets already?" Kuro said, sitting at the windowsill, "No 'Kuro the snake?'" he asked with a laugh. He took a step inside, and walked towards them, thinking it was a shame he never took the time to learn how to make shadow puppets. "Mind if I stay a bit?"

Amnity had actually made it half way to the gun in the bedside table, but then pulled her head from up under the covers when she heard Kuro's voice. She smiled, shining the flashlight on him. "Hey Kuro!" This seemed a lot like a sleep over now more then anything else. Amnity scooted more to the side Mephlius was on so to give Kuro some room. "Not at all! Come on, play shadow puppets with us!" She sounded like a 6 year old girl at her birthday party.

" I might not be very good at shadow puppets, but i`m very flexible." He walked over and sat down, then looked at his hands, figuring out something he could do. After a moment, he formed his hands so that a small bird formed on the covers, it slowly flew down and rested next to the two other animals.

Mephlius smiled. Unlike usual, Kuro seemed to ease the tension, rather than create more. "Well hey there Mr. Bird. What're you here for?" The frog greeted him.

Amnity formed her hands in the shape of a duck. It looked to the bird then to the frog. "Now who the hell are you? What do you think this is? A free land?! Alright, move it along or someone's going to get shot."

The duck paused, then spoke again, its voice very bleak. "You have a point. I don't have hands, nor do I have the actual bollocks to get my hands dirty...Figuratively. But I'll do the next best thing. I'll just steal your land, destroy your home and build a hotel on your potato farm or something.....Quack."

The frog's eyes, holes in the shadow, opened wide. "Nobody... insults... the potatoes." The frog opened it's mouth, and a wolf grew out of it.The wolf dove towards the duck, tackling it to the "ground".
