@Pen: Well it's a rather fancy high-end gala.. probably some charity thing. Dustin's a doctor right? He should be invited, and I'm sure he's allowed to bring some friends.
@Aly: Yeah, now that I think about it a charity event would be something they televise. It'll be for more of the rich/high end Gaians. Something that everyone wants to watch/go to because of all the famous/rich people. Though I bet a human-looking character could sneak in as a waiter/waitress if they wanted to. 3nodding

@Foxi: Awesome. Umm.. I don't know, for the reason behind the charity ball, I was thinking some sort of fundraiser for like.. orphans.. or to add a new wing to the hospital for kids with cancer. Any time you throw in sad hopeless children people flock with money... sweatdrop
@Exile: Now might be a good time to do some quick tekteks of minor characters... like the members of your group that show up occasionally but aren't really a part of the main plot. Just to get a good mental image 3nodding

@The Art Institute: SO I got all my glasses~ I start January 10th and I'll be going 3 days a week, taking 4 classes.
@Today: I went down to the fabric district in LA with the costuming for theater class even though I'm not taking it this semester! biggrin I love it down there... I bought some imitation crushed velvet for $1/yard! biggrin It costs me at least $5/yard at JoAnn's up where I live~! I also bought some fleece to make myself [another] double breasted button up winter coat for only $2.50/yard as opposed to over $6/yard at JoAnn's<33
OH! And some bad a** buttons shaped like Diamonds Clubs and Spades! whee
I also found some beautiful fabric with a purple teal white and black design for a shirt I'm making my mom for Christmas. Her favorite color is purple, lol.
-w- then I went and stocked up on Asian snack food at the Marukai Market in Little Tokyo. The Hello Panda poxes were only 88 cents instead of $2! =w= I love LA..<3 though, I probably just used up my whole paycheck in one day... *totally not addicted to shopping*
Then we got distracted in Little Tokyo so we ended up leaving an hour late, and I missed the first half of a Christmas party my mom's work was having, so she was all like "rawr!" and I was all like "D8 sumimasen!" and she was like "It's ok but you have to pose for a family picture now."
.o.; and after her party, we went to my dad's best friend's house for another party. It was fail. A bunch of 40+ year olds getting drunk and acting like morons. By then I was tired and irritated and they really weren't helping.. I swear I'm never touching alcohol in my life.
biggrin but yeah, overall a pretty good day~! Aaaannndd.... now I'm off to go to bed.. because I'm tired, and I want to dream about all those pretty pretty fabrics and Asian snack food.

About your day: Aside from the drunk 40 year olds, it sounds like it was a pretty awesome day!! When the Koji (or anyone else that I care about) is happy, then I'm happy!

@ The Topic of partying: Whenever my mother throws a party, I kind of just move out of sight; Because it's mostly her co-workers (who just happen to be her best friends) that show up, and my mother does this thing where she'll try to get me to socialize with them. . . even though a lot of them don't like me. lol
