I still haven't seen Avengers yet, but I want to. All of my friends rave about how awesome it was. Meh.
I'm just not passionate about anything anymore, it seems. Kinda depressing.

I'm with you there. There's no depth to anything nowadays. Ah well. How's your back doing? biggrin My back is a lot better. Mostly. I'm still doing physical therapy, but it's better. I'm still just chronically sore, but at least it doesn't feel like I'm being stabbed when I move. But thank you for asking. :B I am trying to get back into drawing but it just upsets me because I try and people don't care about my art. Major bluh.

Ah, sounds like we're in the same boat! 3nodding I'm not in the same medium as you, but close (writing). With most people they only know that it's something you like, not something they would be interested in. I think that's why sites like Gaia are important, because you can get feedback on your art from someone else. You should post your stuff here! <3

With most people they only know that it's something you like, not something they would be interested in. I think that's why sites like Gaia are important, because you can get feedback on your art from someone else. You should post your stuff here! <3 I just get bashful when it comes to showing my art because I don't feel great about it, and I draw art that not everyone likes -- I mean, it's just mostly fan art and stuff but not everyone likes the fandom and etc. And I get upset when I post art on like, deviantart or tumblr and it is just unnoticed. How do I attention? sweatdrop I know attention isn't the most important thing and I should draw for me -- and I do -- but I feel like at least a little recognition would be nice. ;A;

I'm use to it now in that it kinda makes me better, because I'm always so critical. 3nodding I think you can post it here: not a lot of people come here anymore, but they trickle in every once in a while. If not, that's cool. I wouldn't feel too bad, because is this going to stop you from drawing? I hope you still continue despite the setbacks! <3

I don't know if I'm more annoyed at US Air Guitar for putting the Dark Horse competition in a different city from the national championship (Boulder vs Denver, respoectively), at the Denver area public transit system for only having a bus that runs between the two cities until midnight - which might be ok but it might not! - or at my husband who was all "yeah go ahead and book stuff" today and then suddenly tonight was like "oh wait - Dark Horse."
I can't even get a hotel in Boulder for the first night because I don't know where the Dark Horse IS yet. Announce it, dickheads!

Of course I remember Rayi. I haven't heard from her in ages, though. I can see a bit of similarity, too, now that you mention it...
Unintended, of course. I just threw some things together that had a similar motif and hoped for the best. I only wish I had better shoe selection so I wouldn't have to use the cloud as a cop-out.

Is it just me not caring any more is Gaia kind of coming to a halt? Even while checking the Dev Alerts it seems like there's no innovation coming out of Gaia HQ besides new pretty items. They've only improved on what has been developed years ago. The latest big feature must be Monster Galaxy and that's not really a game as much as it's not-funny Facebook reward machine.
I mean, I'm old on Gaia now, too old to just jump into a thread and make friends with strangers, because those strangers are probably 13 and have opinions of Justin Bieber while I wouldn't even recognize any of his music. There has to be interesting features for me to d**k around with, because the other people just aren't *here* any more.
For the record, I was 15 when I joined Gaia because a friend wanted me to read a poem she wrote.
