Kabi laughed mockingly. "I take that as a challenge, queen." She said the last word as a sneer, almost. Away from the pharaoh, her quiet timidness was gone. "He isn't married to that woman he was with, as I hear it. I can almost guarantee to you that I can make Seto mine in a month."

"I would do that, if it was really needed." Kabi said thoughtfully. "I doubt it will be necessary, though. He's a man. All men are the same, when you manage to stir up their passions."

"You weren't there to see his face last night." Kabi said slyly. Though, for the most part, she had been ignored, she had seen the look on the priest's face when Atem informed him his dear Ayira had practically cheated on him. "Their relationship is pretty weak now. I doubt it would be too much effort to split them apart." She brushed off her skirt. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I really need to leave. Nice chatting with you, queen."

"Now I bug the pharaoh until he agrees not to marry that woman." Seto said bitterly. "I only supported his marriage to Nanu because she would be good for him. That woman-- that whore-- will only be bad. For everyone. I'm glad I got to see the real her, away from the pharaoh. Can you imagine having to serve underneath her?"

After asking a few servants, Seto managed to locate the pharoah, who was still asleep. Seto had pushed the door open and glared down at his sleeping cousin, considering what to do with him. Wake him up? Wait until later?

Ayira stuck her finger in her mouth and then stuck it in the pharohs ear. It was how she woke people up at home and it worked good.

Atem snorted in his sleep and rolled over. "Mmm, you've never done that with me..." He mumbled in his sleep. Seto's cheeks darkened. Not in embarrassment, but in anger.

"Ayira..." Seto said slowly, but Atem had opened his eyes. He stared blankly up at Ayira, as though trying to remember how drunk he had been last night. He sat bolt upright, and seemed to relax when he saw Seto there.
"Oh... hello..." Atem mumbled through a yawn, rubbing at his oddly damp ear. "What do you want?"
